"The resort is really beautiful, and because the compound is big, you don’t feel like there’s a lot of people. One drawback is if you’re flying to Sanya airport you need to take a 1.5 hour taxi ride to the resort. What’s worse is the route going from hotel back to airport is blocked because of roadworks which means we had to find alternative transportation otherwise it would take double the time. I wish the hotel had mentioned this when we booked, it really inconvenience us a lot as we were travelling with family. I only realised this the day before leaving the hotel and only then I decided to change to high speed rail. Overall if I ever come back to Sanya, I would come back to this resort, but maybe without kids the next time!"

"Sanya has a place I absolutely *must* visit every year, and that's Wanning. Wanning is a place I'd go to 10,000 times and still want to return! Le Meridien is also the hotel where our kids never want to leave, year after year... 🌴 **Stunning Public Areas & Soft Sandy Beach** Stepping into the lobby, you're immediately greeted by the azure sea, blue sky, and the island opposite 🏝️. The lobby bar is wonderfully cool, and they even arranged afternoon tea for us while we were checking in – who can resist such joy? 😄 We quickly changed into our swimwear and headed straight for a dip. The family rooms are super convenient, with direct access to the kids' pool. The 6000-meter private beach is uncrowded and picturesque, with fine, pristine white sand. The area around the Horizon Restaurant offers picture-perfect shots that need no filters! 😄 🌴 **Squirrel Farm 🐿️** An idyllic day living amidst nature! This farm, nestled between the blue sky, beach, and coconut groves, lets kids experience being a little farmer for a day. They can pick fresh vegetables to feed the small animals. There are adorable bunnies 🐰 that sweetly chase you for veggies, as well as pigeons, chickens, ducks, geese, and sheep who will spontaneously break into a lively 'concert' whenever they please. And of course, the stars of the show are the little squirrels scurrying above your head. It's a joyful day for the kids, and an enviable one for mom! 😂 🌴 **Beiye Planet Kids' Club** The kids' club at Le Meridien has become an old friend; we always enroll our children here. The indoor and outdoor activities are constantly varied. You can even paddleboard on the river next to the Squirrel Farm! If it rains, they have indoor crafting, whack-a-mole games, and an indoor playground – giving moms the perfect opportunity to snap some beautiful photos! 😄 🌴 **Sea Adventures** We pretty much experienced all the sea activities here that we didn't get to do in Sanya: sailing ⛵️, banana boating, family snorkeling, and speedboat rides 🚤. It’s truly not hot out on the sea, just filled with happy screams! Since all these are hotel-organized activities, we felt completely at ease. Snorkeling was a new experience for us, taking place near Jiajing Island. We got to see corals 🪸 and small fish up close, and even feed them. The accompanying instructor will take photos for you 📷. My advice: don't bring anything along, as it'll likely get lost. Wear long-sleeved and long-legged swimwear 😄. 🌴 **Hidden Gem ~ Crabbing Expedition 🦀** After our beach BBQ one evening, we were fortunate enough to catch a pink sunset, and my little photographer brother captured some truly 'life-defining' photos for me. Spurred on, our crabbing squad set off! Armed with headlamps, we shone them on the little sand crabs on the beach, and they'd freeze. A mineral water bottle works best for catching them. Dad found a fantastic spot where crabs seemed to 'drift' over like pieces in a connect-the-dots game! From around 9-10 PM, there's an area next to the river where we paddleboarded during the day, specifically near the reef and the beach in front of the Squirrel Farm. Perhaps due to the high tide, crabs floated in one by one. Prepare a net, or just use thick gloves to grab them. Don't ask me how I know – everyone here becomes an expert! 😂 🌴 **Dining at Le Meridien** During our stay, we dined at the Chinese restaurant, Horizon Restaurant, and enjoyed the beach BBQ buffet. All were excellent and perfectly suited for families, especially the beach BBQ buffet. With a live singer and a stunning sunset, the atmosphere was truly magical! How should I sum it up? My son asked me very earnestly: “Mom, can I please stay a few more days? I still want to play!”"

"The rooms are incredibly spacious, offering direct sea views and a clear sight of the Shenzhou Peninsula lighthouse. The ocean views are absolutely stunning, and at night, you can fall asleep to the gentle sound of the sea. Both the bathroom and the vanity area were also very generously sized. Car transfers were provided upon arrival, and the staff were very accommodating. They even offer a dedicated shower area for guests after check-out, which is a thoughtful touch. "After switching from another hotel to this one, I instantly felt that the service was twice as good. The lady even helped us carry our luggage, the room was very clean and tidy, and we took a free electric scooter to go around. It is very close to Shimei Bay. Before leaving the next day, my daughter went to a short-haired girl to get two free drinks made by her. She said the drinks were as good as the restaurant and bar on the beach. If we go to Wanning again, we will choose here without hesitation."

"I was moved to tears by a group of post-00s housekeepers! As soon as I arrived at the door, a housekeeper brother ran out to greet me. When checking in, he introduced how to check in and take photos of antique artworks. He also sent us wax apples picked from the back mountain and bananas from his own orchard. The wax apples are called black king kong, which are big, red, and super sweet! The banana flesh is golden and cool, and the mood is already super good at this time. The details of the room are also amazing-the full-length mirror has a special effect of slimming ankles, which is very suitable for taking pictures. The Hilton bedding is wrapped like a cloud, which is really comfortable and relaxing. There are even dental floss, eye masks, makeup remover towels and so on on the table in the room! The next day, I started to take photos along the check-in route suggested by the housekeeper. The century-old Roman columns are really super easy to take photos. You can take photos just by walking by there, which feels like a movie! The African tribal chieftain chair looks like a time travel to that era. The artistic door at the door is very beautifully carved, and with the traces of many years of precipitation, it will feel a bit old when taking photos. What’s more worth praising is the store’s team of post-00s housekeepers. They are really warm, generous and sincere. "It's a good deal to book in the off-season. The hotel is a little out of the way, suitable for self-driving tours. The room decoration is quite good. There is a refrigerator but no washing machine. The swimming pool is quite large and it is not crowded for two or three people to swim. Some of the lights in the hotel are sensor lights, which sometimes go out by themselves while taking a bath. Some lights are broken, so the brightness at night is not very good. The water heater seems to burn electricity, so there is no hot water for the second person to take a bath. I hope these can be improved. Other aspects are very good, and the housekeeper solves the problem in a timely manner."
