A modern hotel with good amenities. The hotel is quiet far from any shops or restaurants. They offer 2 restaurants at the hotel, a gym and small shop. The hotel has enough to do for a relaxing stay if you want somewhere to lay by a pool. The hotel has two pools, only one is open during the day, the other opens after 4.30pm. There are comfortable loungers and umbrellas to relax by the pool. The rooms are tidy, clean and well air conditioned with a balcony to relax on. There is a large breakfast buffet with plenty of choice, however the coffee machine does not work well right now. The restaurants offer a Chinese or foreign option, although many English translations are grossly incorrect. It seems the restaurants and cafe are there if needed, but the quality of service is not considered a priority. The cafe takes nearly an hour to bring some fries and orange juice (we tried the cafe a few times, always the same amount of time). Translations for tomato salad was met with egg rice noodles.. Chicken fajitas were met with a chicken mayo wrap... We were there for 1 week, things out of stock were not replenished throughout the whole time. The staff were friendly, reception was helpful and attentive, though some extremely nervous about trying to communicate with foreigners.
In all, the facilities are good, but they are not prepared for foreigners, I expected different from a Hilton hotel. We did not dislike our stay, but wouldn't pay the price being charged, some cheaper hotels offer similar facilities at a fraction of the cost, in an area near shops, restaurants and beaches.
