The pictures on ******* do not compare to the current conditions of the hotel. Very run down and dirty. Most staff do not speak English. They were very unhelpful when I brought up the issues. Asked them if we could move to different rooms, we were told no and that they were all the same. We asked if we could move to their joint property across the road (where we would have to go for dinner) and was told we’d have to attend a sales meeting (timeshare) to do that. Our rooms were on the main floor facing the pool area with patio doors that had very flimsy, old locks. We felt unsafe. The Al la carte restaurant was closed when we arrived mid afternoon, the cafe had lime jello and sandwiches looked old with curled up bread. There was a mini buffet set up that was at best a 3/10. It’s was the only option as dinner wasn’t until 7pm.
We decided we were not staying there. After that point, they refused to help us. Their only response was for us to call *******. We were unable to call out on our cellphones, so we asked for their help to call. They refused. Finally had a family member call ******* from canada, and have them add me to the call.
