Beautiful place to stay, but the service in front desk is not friendly, the guys who work there don’t have a good service attitude, I got a really bad time trying to get check out lat because my flight was delayed and we needed a place to stay, definitely I think this hotel has many good things except the front desk staff

I don't want to be too negative, because in the end, my family had a wonderful Spring vacation in Punta Cana. Our room was spacious and the buffet restaurant was good with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The resort was also very accommodating to kids. However, there is construction on one side of the resort which is separated by a bamboo fence and there is sewer water running under the bamboo, causing the entire side of the resort to smell like sewer water. It was really bad. The front desk appeared to be understaffed and phone calls to them were often unanswered. During our stay the internet went out for approximately 24 hrs and the staff couldn't provide any updates or estimated time the situation would resolve. We ate 2 nights at the a-la-carte restaurants, but the service was too slow, especially with little kids, and orders ended up wrong or missing altogether. After the second disappointing night we agreed to go to the buffet each night for dinner. Fortunately, there was enough variety to keep things enjoyable there. The general consensus, in talking to other guest, was that everyone felt it was a very "affordable" resort. Given the price, I'm not overly disappointed with the experience, but we won't be returning.

I like that the resort was beautiful & the staff was amazing. We had a miscommunication upon arrival when they assigned us to a single room when we had paid for a suit. The only thing I did not like was that there was not much entertainment & the food was mostly cold & lacked taste at the buffet. The restaurants were a hit or miss. Most times the meat was not cooked properly.

Love the rooms...next time will get the one with the swim up. From cleansers to security everyone was friendly and helpful. Buffet wasnt identical everyday always something new added. Recommend the lasagna at the Olive a la carte

Property is very spacious. We were in a suite and were comfortable for a family of 5 Adults. Rooms were well maintained and drinks were always replenished. Only negative of the room was the shower in the bedroom. It was open with no doors which lacked in privacy for one taking a shower. It was inconvenient to have everyone leave the bedroom to shower. Restaurants we ate was the main buffet, Surf and Turf, Sports bar, The Cut and Kyoka. All were very good places to eat with the exception of Surf and Turf. The food was not good at all. The meat and salmon were not cooked fully. Salad and soup were bland. We could not force ourselves to eat so we left and didn’t even stay for the desert. We walked to the buffet for dinner instead and have bumped into the other guests who were at the Surf and Turf. So it was not only us with dissatisfaction. The beach was packed and we couldn’t find a spot for the first two days. The third day my son walked to the beach at a little before 7am to reserve a spot for us. Make sure you go early. My kids rented a kayak at a $100 deposit fee which was returned after the rental.

Unorganized! Some of the staff had nasty attitudes like they didn't want to work there and made their issues our concern. The staff that was supposed to help with dinner reservations were less than helpful. We had to get managers involved more than once because of their attitudes. I can say cleaning staff were delightful and did their very best. Bar staff was amazing! Entertainment staff amazing! If it wasn't for the very few from these staff, it would have been a horrible trip!

Room was clean and upgraded from what was booked. So ended up with super large balcony view of pool and ocean. Only ate at the buffet and was good variety. If you are planning on beach chairs get there super early as people start holding/saving chairs as early as 8 and don’t even show up until after 11am. Plenty of chairs available after 3pm. There was seaweed on beach and water however crews were out cleaning it. Water was refreshing. Drinks were great. Pools still had plenty of room for you to swim and enjoy. Biggest pet peeve was we were there for a quick weekend get away to relax and kept getting solicited by vacation package people, spa, excursions and guys on beach.
