"Really great location and the amenities include a kitchenette and washing machine which was really helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the metro and is nested in a residential building, there are three separate receptions for different hotels in the building all on the ground floor.
Couldn't really connect to the smart home systems due to not having a Chinese number but it's a common problem across China. The reception team is friendly and there is luggage storage post check out."

"Let me talk about the advantages first: the location is good. Although it is in a residential area, the navigation can accurately guide you to the entrance. After placing the order, the customer service manager will contact me proactively and pull a group of 7 people to solve various problems. He proactively upgraded to a sea-view king room and helped me carry my luggage.
Let's talk about the disadvantages: I came here because of the high ratings, but after moving in I could still feel some shortcomings in the hardware and software. Let's talk about the hardware first. The guest rooms are in a villa with three floors. The first floor is the thighs, the second floor is the shoe-changing area and some guest rooms, and the third floor is another part of the guest rooms. The size of guest rooms is generally small, which is easy to understand if it is an economy hotel, but there are seven or eight bedrooms in a three-story villa. It is hard to imagine whether it is an original design or a later renovation.
Disadvantages 1: There is no elevator, so it will be very troublesome for guests with suitcases. 2: Guests entering the guest room area are required to change into the slippers they provide on the second floor. They cannot wear their own shoes to enter the guest room area. They said that the wooden floor used in the villa decoration is more precious, so they must change shoes. I have stayed in so many hotels, whether they were handmade stalls or century-old hotels, the floors were already creaking, but no one asked me to change my shoes. I thought I was secretly staying in a palace. 3: The windows of the room face the street. Whether it is day or night, if the curtains are opened, the view inside the room can be seen without reservation (Figure 3, Figure 4, and Figure 5). The housekeeper said there was a gauze curtain, but I didn’t find it. I also want to ask, what should I do if I want to hang clothes to dry? 4: There are many green plants planted outside the building, and many flowers and plants are arranged at the entrance of the first floor, which causes a lot of mosquitoes. Friendly reminder to the housekeeper that you can take long-term mosquito repellent measures around and at the entrance. The worst case scenario is mosquito coils. The cheapest ones don’t cost more than a few yuan a day, which is better than nothing, right? I just can't think of it.
Now, let's talk about software.
Question 1: A pair of slippers was provided in the bathroom, but there were foreign objects in them (Figure 6 and Figure 7), which clearly indicated that the bathroom was not cleaned or inspected properly. When you encounter a problem, there are a lot of explanations. Question 2: When cleaning, the housekeeper asked, ”We only clean the garbage in the bathroom and room. Do you want us to help you throw it away?” The expression is startling. Is there anyone who doesn’t throw away garbage? Or is “only cleaning the bathroom” a VIP service? Is there any other space besides the bathroom? The land is only this big."

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Exit D of Anzi Subway Station, which is very convenient for travel. The room is large, clean and tidy, with good sound insulation. The shower room, wash basin and toilet are three separate rooms. The staff are warm and polite. It is a hotel worth recommending with high cost performance.

The room was not very clean upon arrival and they barely clean after your arrival (not an issue but first time seeing the bed not made). I had a no window room and it was quite hot despite having the AC on, the staff notified me that they don’t have AC on right now but could bring me a fan if needed.

TthousandmilesI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Qingdao, and there are some noteworthy aspects to share.
First and foremost, the receptionist displayed exceptional customer service. Our early morning arrival was met with a warm welcome and an unexpected early check-in. This considerate gesture allowed us to freshen up and kick-start our adventure, setting a positive tone for our stay.
During our visit, there was a minor hiccup with housekeeping - a misplaced pair of Nike Air Max shoes. Thankfully, the vigilant receptionist swiftly resolved the issue, locating and returning the missing item promptly. To make amends for the inconvenience, they went the extra mile, offering a small gift and complimentary breakfast coupons as a gesture of goodwill. Such attentiveness to guest needs is truly commendable.
While we chose to explore authentic local cuisine during our trip, bypassing hotel dining, I cannot provide feedback on the food quality or variety.
In terms of location, this hotel scores points for convenience. Taxis are readily available, and it took us just 30 minutes to reach the stunning Laoshan Mountain, a must-visit destination. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a bustling night market right across the street adds to its appeal.

As a hotel that was originally a sanatorium, the environment in the hospital is super good, with flowers and turtledoves chirping in the morning. The Garden Hotel lives up to its reputation. There is a refrigerator in the room, and it is so cool to freeze your own drinks and beer!

The room is a pleasant size and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s quick and easy to check in and check out. No need to go outside, there’s a walkway directly into the airport.
There was a lot of hair on the seat of the chair (different color than my hair so I’m certain it was not from me) so that made me uncomfortable/concerned about how much had been cleaned.
There was about a half inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor so a lot of light came in from the hall so during the night I needed to put a towel there to block the light. I could easily hear people go to nearby rooms and room service going to nearby rooms, so it was a little noisy.

GGuest UserNice privately-owned hotel in an old building right in the middle of the historical former German district. I enjoyed the stay.
A couple of things you need to realize, though:
1) no supermarkets around. The nearest convenience store is a good 500 meters walk at ”Taipinjiao Park” subway station;
2) no budget restaurants/Western fast food shops. Plenty of fancy overpriced local food restaurants nearby, however;
3) room cleaning is light. They just replace trash bags and towels. No making up the bed or floor mopping;
4) you'll see ants, mosquitoes and an occasional spider in the room, as it's located in a very old Japanese-occupation era building in a garden-like environment. But they warn you about that in the hotel Welcome message. Plus the hotel provides an anti-mosquito pluggable device. Use it.
5) there's a restaurant on premices right in front of the hotel rooms. They play music, but not loud enough to bother me. They close shop at 8pm. There's another restaurant right next door. That one is louder, but even them wind up at around 9pm. So, it didn't bother me...
6) the manager is very much responsive. He sent me a welcome message the day before I checked in, plus the hotel exact location map, so I could find it. The other hotel/restaurant staff are very friendly also.
I enjoyed the stay. Bathing Beach 2 (an old German pivate villas beach) is right next door, so I did plenty of sunbathing and swimming. Fun...
