"Close to the airport and pet-friendly hotel! The hotel is located in a safe area, about a 15-20 minute drive from Quito airport. The grounds are very large and fenced. The hotel itself is designed in a colonial style. There are several lounge areas, both indoors and outdoors. There's a pool, sauna, Turkish hammam, and billiards. The room was very clean. I was happy that we could stay with our dog without an extra charge! Breakfast was also included in the room rate. For breakfast, there were fresh fruits, yogurts, smoothies, and a standard selection. The staff speaks English and are friendly and helpful with any questions. The atmosphere is very calm and safe."

"Woman didn’t recognize our booking but luckily found us a room anyway. Wasn’t what we booked, but at least it was a place to sleep. No amenities we could enjoy. No shower soap, closed pool, breakfast was scant. More like a motel."

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly and courteous. Special thanks to Osmund, Marco, and Emily for their exceptional hospitality, though honestly, every staff member we encountered was fantastic! The room was very comfortable, with great amenities like a fridge and microwave for guest use, and a very nice shower with some of the best water pressure we have felt! Breakfast was included, which was a wonderful bonus to start the day. The hotel is very safe with locked doors and gates, and 24/7 reception, which gave us peace of mind. The area felt safe to walk around in as well and there were a few malls nearby. We were also particularly impressed by how the staff helped us find a doctor when we were feeling unwell. Their care and attention to detail truly made all the difference. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting, we will definitely be back!"

"Hotel Antinea is “vaux le voyage” (worth the trip). This gorgeous hotel is on a stunning little street lined with Sycamore trees. It is a complex of traditional buildings very well designed and integrated. The rooms and garden terraces and courtyards are lovely and comfortable. The breakfast is unique in all Ecuador as it includes excellent croissant beurre (fait maison). The dining spaces are so attractive and filled with interesting art. The service is very, very attentive."

"We stayed here recently with our birding tour group but came 2 days early to see more of Quito. Our first room was a nice, but fairly standard, hotel room with a great view over the valley. Our second stay, one week later as we passed through Quito on our way east, was (fortunately for us) in a suite with a kitchen and washer/dryer. That was wonderful since it gave as an opportunity to do laundry before continuing our travels. The hotel is located about 3.5 miles from the Colonial area of Quito (Old Quito). A bit distant if you plan to go by foot but easy enough by taxi. The included breakfast is good, although lacking in variety. About your only choice is in how you'd like your eggs prepared. We ate dinner in the cafe twice with our group, once it was just OK, the second time was very good. Service can be a bit disorganized but friendly enough."

"The most satisfying hotel during my business trip to Latin America. I have booked Hilton for everything else. Holidayinn is better. The breakfast was delicious. The front desk was polite and friendly. The room is relatively large and the hair dryer needs to be called separately. The price/performance ratio is very good. The location is also okay."
