EElena EgAmazing place. I didn't know either Spanish or English but I was covered with so much attention and concern that I didn't feel any problems in communication. The hotel is warm and quiet, homey.
I was set up 2 hours earlier.
In the room every day was done a wet cleaning.
Breakfasts were delicious with natural juice and fresh fruit. In the evening you can eat deliciously at the restaurant.
I would like to come back here and feel the attention and care of these people
GGuest UserA wonderful hotel! Very friendly and caring hosts! Cozy. Clean. They helped me with everything. Elena helped me find excursions to the volcano. The rooms are very beautiful. The inner garden is beautiful. The location is good. I highly recommend this hotel. And I am very grateful to the hosts!
GGuest UserThe breakfast was good, the room was clean and clean, the quilt was a bit thick, the room was not air-conditioned, the cover was a bit hot, there were big parks around, big supermarkets and shopping centers were not far from the hotel.
GGuest UserBreakfast is good, there are new tricks every day. The room is large. Hotel location is very good, there are supermarkets and shopping malls around. Recommended stay.
WwalterlxThe hotel is located in the Marshal District, surrounded by many restaurants and bars to choose from. The hotel facilities are very old. The size of the double room is relatively small and there is not enough space for luggage. The hotel breakfast is very simple, only bread and coffee. The hygiene of the room is not good. Living here is also far from the main scenic spots, which is not very convenient.
GGuest UserTop Lage und super nettes Personal. Hatte meinen Kopfhörer bei der Abreise vergessen und direkt eine Nachricht bekommen, dass ein Gegenstand gefunden wurde und an der Rezeption aufbewahrt wird.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette!
My stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette was nothing short of exceptional. It’s by far the cleanest hotel in all of Ecuador—absolutely spotless in every corner. The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming.
The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care.
The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed.
Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for.
If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!
JJeremy LeeeeThe facilities at this hotel are somewhat outdated, and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned. It would be great to see some modernization in these areas. That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.
Kkevie520The hotel is in a good location. There is a supermarket downstairs for shopping, and it is not far from the bus station. You can take the bus to the Quito City Museum. There is a hospital next to the museum where you can get yellow fever vaccinations. The public area of the hotel has a good environment, with many old objects and furnishings. The front desk owner is very nice and provides free printing services. A bag of clothes is dry cleaned for $5. You can see Quito Cathedral and Loaf Mountain from the top of the third floor, and the night view is also very good. The hotel here does not provide toiletries for taking off shoes, so you need to bring your own.
