"The front desk service was enthusiastic, and the location is incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk downstairs to the beach, and there are plenty of dining options. Most importantly, it offers great value for money. We stayed on the 40th floor, and the views of both the city and the beach were absolutely amazing!"

"The environment was nice, and overall I was quite satisfied; the children had a lot of fun. The only downside was that it was easy to slip in the bathtub, even though the water was very slippery. I called the front desk to mention it, but they didn't put anything anti-slip in it. Otherwise, I was very satisfied; it's a great resort hotel."

"Positive: The Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa is conveniently located 2 blocks away from the Waikiki Beach within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. My room has a balcony towards the mountain. Guests can see the beach by the elevator. Guest can also rent a beach chair for free which is a plus. Not all hotels offer that. On 10th floor, there is a swimming pool. Several bus lines near by. I went to Chinatown and Pearl Harbor riding bus. Hotel staff are generally helpful. Not so positive: hotel gives 2 bottle water to guests, but they don’t give to guests booked through 3rd party like trip.com. Hotel business center printer was broken. Surrounding: More homeless people than I expected. Some of them are aggressive asking money at a nearby ABC store. Hotel is older, an update would be nice. I would recommend for the convenience, near the Waikiki beach, restaurants and shops, and free beach chair."

"The room is large and the combed bed can also sleep two people. The hotel is very beautiful, there are water slides rafting and snorkeling, etc. It is recommended to leave a day to play in the hotel. There are more choices for eating than Marriott next door."

"I have no complaints at all - this might be the perfect resort at this price point. Check-in was smooth, the rooms are excellent (albeit maybe a bit on the small side for three persons, and we did miss not having a barhtub), the view excellent (description said “ocean view” and it was better than expected, even from the Pacific Tower), restaurants both great. The location is perfect, just a few min walk from the Royal Hawaiian Center; and the hotel has its own /small/ beach with really a good view of the sunset. Big shoutout to the very friendly staff at Monkeypod Kitchen as well as the poolside Towel Hut! Would revisit without a doubt!"

"Great stay at the Hyatt Centric. Location was excellent. Only negative was the extensive “resort fee” ad it was difficult to justify the cost for the services provided"

"We booked a sea-view room, but it wasn't a full sea view, more like 70%. The balcony windows had excellent soundproofing. Unfortunately, the buffet and the bar by the pool had pretty high prices for in-house dining. For breakfast, I recommend buying from Kai Coffee downstairs. There are free activities like lei-making available; you can scan the QR code to book online as some have limited spots. Overall, it's a hotel with good value and service."

"The service, facilities, and amenities were all perfect. This hotel made for a fantastic trip. If only I had more money, I'd stay here for three days or more. The pool was also fantastic."

"We stayed at the one of the Historic Banyan King Room with City View for 4 nights, room was conveniently located in the main building, doesn’t come with a balcony, but has 2 windows. It gets noisy sometimes at night even though we stayed on the 4th floor. The resort also offers a list of cultural and wellness activities for booking, this is where the resort fee goes to, so make sure you book some of these activities if time permits. Overall we liked the hotel as it’s at the center of Waikiki and has direct access to the beach, several great restaurants and you can also pre-order Honolulu Coffee for pick-up at the hotel location."
