Hotel Lutania Beach

The Residencies are fabulous and the setting is perfect. The rooms are luxurious and views the best. The staff are second to none, so attentive and helpful. In all honesty more needs to be done to promote this little piece of heaven. A perfect place to relax and enjoy a little piece of Rhodes.

We have just returned from a 9 night stay and all I can say is wow!!We had booked in main hotel but we were upgraded on arrival and boy are we glad we were ,we were given a swim up room on 3rd floor and it was amazing great views to the sea and a really chilled out vibe throughout the hotel.Breakfast was lovely and the lovely Kiki, George and Bruno started you’re day off so attentively they were amazing staff to hold onto for sure,we would spend our days at the pool at main hotel and again faultless plenty of beds , the service around the pool was great the girls were so nice and the men too .We used the snack bar a lot for lunch loved the gyros but the main restaurant was great for lunch too,it’s not very often that you can’t find fault with a hotel but this one I just can’t if there was one thing I had to pick up on there was no seat for doing hair and makeup but that is it.we ate in 2 of the a la carte restaurants Ginger being our favourite we even went a second time but Mylos good too and the food throughout was probably the best all inclusive we’ve done and we’ve done a lot.We found the staff to be so friendly we loved Takis on reception he was adorable and so helpful and guest relations were great too all in all I can’t recommend these 2 hotels enough we will certainly return to the Residences we loved it thank you.

Loved our stay at the residences, previously stayed in the main hotel, but the residences is definitely much more relaxing especially with felitsa looking after us in the daytime at the Sky Bar she was amazing, also Kiki, George and Bruno at breakfast in the morning always remembered our drinks order, always welcomed you with a smile and nothing was too much trouble, will definitely return.

We loved our 10 day stay. Our room was immaculate. Breakfast on the terrace at the Blue Bay was just lovely with such a personal touch from Kiki and George along with all the staff were amazing. The food and wine is tremendous along with delicious cocktails on offer at the Sky Bar, Orfeas and the pool bar. The ala carte options were excellent and we splurged and paid for a 3rd meal. We throughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return.

We booked a red carpet swim up Duplex room. Stayed in room 813, the views were beautiful and the room was lovely. Bit of a pain having to go downstairs to use bathroom at night tho. Fridge was always stocked daily. But u only get bottle of bubbly and bottle wine left on ur first night. U get 2 Pepsi, 1 7Up and 2 beer left daily. To be honest we hardly used the pool so we feel as if we wasted money on the swimup room. Never had to set an alarm to reserve sunbeds. Always managed to get one even at 11am. Spent a lot of time on Sky Bar sunbeds. Had the amazing Filitcia looking after us. So friendly and attentive. Kiki and George were amazing looking after us at breakfast. In evenings Georgia (sky bar) looked after us. Always very busy, but always had time for a chat. Down in main entertainment bar u have lovely Katerina. Beautiful and very friendly. Then Niko who was heartwarming. His laugh just puts a massive smile on ur face. Food was one of the best all inclusive we've had. Cocktails are lovely especially the PALOMA. Do agree that the alcohol was very weak though. Street Food restaurant was amazing. I don't eat carbs but they prepared my food without making me feel awkward. Now for downside to the hotel... I really do think they need to put a bar down by the beach with waiter service. Other people had thought the same. Did love the Red Carpet but it's a lot of money. Didnt feel I got my moneys worth. Stayed for 2 weeks and could only go to 2 of the restaurants. I think we should of been allowed to go to all 3 after the amount we paid out. Also found out most of the couples up at the residence had been upgraded for free. Really really annoyed about that. Valentia and all her staff were amazing and hopefully we will return ♥️

We returned after staying here 5 years ago where we staying in the main building over the road. We always said if returned we would stay at residence abdd we were all inclusive. On arrival we did get a shock as on check in due to booking directly with hotel we needed to pay the balance and was tolddan amount that was way above what was agreed on booking. This was resolved once I found my booking email. We did ask for a particular room but due to hote being fully booked this could not be accommodated we did however receive an upgrade to a duplex suite. What we loved above our room.. 1. The duplex are great for additional space and agree with what others have said around air con not being great upstairs in bedroom 2. Sun on the balcony until around 11.30 and then on pool until about 4.30 3. The views due to upgrade we had a sea view 4. Seated jacuzzi in the pool What we didn't like 1. Rooms really thin walls and can hear next door and people walking past 2 the road noise while sunbathing the road is fairly busy and was busier than 5 years ago due to this would recommended a beach front swin up in main block. Other pros All management and staff lovely and GM remember us from previous visit and we had long conversation with management Gifted a nice bottle of wine one evening by management. Greek restaurant food was lovely and service was great Gifted another a la carte restaurant Blue bay breakfast liked could order omelette and special of the day Bottled soft drinks at sky bar Fridge with snacks at lunch at skybar meaning don't have to go across the road if don't want to Crisps with your drinks Buffett good quality food and choice at night with themed nights Not far to walk into eucalyptus Street bars shops restaurants etc Cons The road noise and thin walls we live in a super quiet area in UK so not used to noise an can mean not as relaxed sunbathing Groups gather in the large private pool room at the top Small amount of drinks in mini bar however can nip to sky bar and take drinks back to room Drinks at snack bar are disgusting we stuck to water Beer on all inclusive not drinkable Swin up are very cold Overall We had a great stay for 10 nights and glad we returned. We did compare to another adult only that we stay at in rhodes which is 5 star and why I rated residence as 4 star the other hotel we stay at is similar price but just offers a bit more

Me and my boyfriend went on our first holiday to the beautiful island of Rhodes, we payed for a beautiful room with a swim up pool ❤️ 713 for all the staff reading ❤️ this was honestly the best experience of both our lives we had such an amazing time at this beautiful hotel. Not only is the hotel stunning with many activities and amazing night time events to attend, but the best part about the hotel is the staff within it!! We loved the staff so much in a week we stayed that I made us cry to leave. They make such an effort not only to make us feel welcome and at home, but I can’t describe how much they made me smile throughout every day we stayed there. The breakfast staff in blue bay always served us to the finest service every day with the most genuine love. Every morning no matter how tired they made you feel so happy, Filitsa, George and Kiki were an unbelievably lovable and made me so happy each morning to see their beautiful happy faces. We also loved the staff throughout the entire hotel ❤️ they work so hard all day long and make sure every customer feels truly welcomed. From the reception staff and the door/bag man, to the dining staff and every single server, the staff were such genuine and lovable human beings Special shout out to some of our favourite staff Evita, Katerina, Mihael, Yannis, Nikos and so many more we just wish to know everyone’s name!! Also Alex the activity man was a legend so amazing at drawing and fantastic to talk to. Honestly could come back to this resort just to see those guys again, hotel is outstandingly beautiful with amazingly diverse food but the hotel wouldn’t be as special if it didn’t have the fantastic staff ❤️ we loved them guys. By far though, the best part of both mine and my boyfriends holiday was meeting Filitsa, she was our mom away from home❤️‍🔥 can’t explain how special and beautiful she is as a person. She honestly made our days at the sky bar the most special time of all, we went there feeling nothing but love and fun being in her fantastic presence. She honestly goes above and beyond when serving every customer, you can tell everyone loves her all the same. She makes you feel so welcome, loved and you just can’t stop smiling when being around her beautiful face ❤️ honestly this hotel is to die for!! You all need to go. We’re going to be saving all the pennies we can to go again in the future!! We miss you Rhodes

Had a very nice week and autumn holiday at Lutania beach hotel. Perfect location, nice and clean hotel and a friendly staff. We got a room with a very nice view, even if we didn't choose and pay extra for this when booking the holiday. Thanks for a pleasant stay and a nice holiday, all at Lutania beach hotel.

Tuesday arrival - Welcome fruit basket in room was covered in flys despite attempt to wrap in cling film. Flys must have been trapped in - Booked a side sea view room, could not see the sea due another building in the way and if could see through the buildings the sea was blocked by over grown trees. Did not get what I paid for. - Room was in a poor state of repair with lots of sharp broken tiles and mould around grouting. Shower head holder was broken so could not hold it in one place plus it was on the wrong end of the bath to the glass shower screen meaning we had a pool in our bathroom every time someone took a shower. - Paid for a family room with 2 adults and 2 children over 16. The double bed was ok for us adults but the kids had to sleep on small cot beds pushed together with a small mattress topper on top - Room overnight reached over 30degrees as air con was not working, the one hours sleep I did get was when I had to sleep on the balcony to get some air and stop sweating. Wednesday - Asked Reception to have someone look at the air con in our room to be told that the air con for all rooms had been switched off to save money. Their only response was that they had told all travel agents this. Well I was not informed and asked how this was going to be resolved as me and my family could not sleep in a sauna for 10 days. I was told I could turn on the air con unit and the fans would supply some cooler air. Unfortunately this was not the case and just pumped in more extremely hot air. The next suggestion was that I sleep with the balcony door open. I said that would be fine but still no air circulation and it’s still 25 degrees outside overnight. Basically we had to take turns sleeping on the balcony each night for 10 days Thursday - Went to Reception in the afternoon and asked for a lunch basket to be prepared for our beach day the next day as per the all inclusive package letter they had to be notified before 8pm. They had no idea what I was talking about and when I tried to explain it and showed them it on the all inclusive letter she shook her hand at me and said I would just need to get lunch from the restaurant as normal meaning I would have to come back from the beach for lunch Saturday - Pool was disgusting and not able to be used, it went green with algae all around the edges and brown crap on the bottom. When we arrived earlier in the week it was bright blue, clean and clear. Clearly they only treat the pool once a week and do not test or keep on top of this throughout the week. The pool also did not seem to be filtering which may have also been turned off to “Save Money” but considering the hotel was fully booked and busy this clearly was not thought about. - Not enough info was provided by the agent loveholidays.com when booking as I would not have stayed here.
