We arrived at the Ledras Hotel for a 2 night stay as a stop over before going somewhere else. The experience was so awful we had to cut it short after 1 night. When we arrived the hotel looked worn, dirty and definately not a 4 star hotel. The lady behind the desk informed us her card machine was not working so cash was required to pay the booking, once paid she informed us the printer was not working so a receipt could not be provided. Instead a written receipt was insisted by ourselves. The room was big and semi clean with bits of dust apparent. The bathroom looked old and worn. The beds were worn and lumpy with springs digging in, I don't think I slept all night. Air con was non existent! The pool was murky and green with parts broken away, no chance I was letting my child in there. It was a short walk to the town, only positive I would say. Avoid this hotel, it needs serious health and safety inspection!

4**** stay disaster Myself and my husband arrived for a 1 day stay in this place. Upon arriving we were greeted by a lady who instructed us to pay cash for our stay even though we booked through a third party, it seemed extremely strange! We asked for a receipt and no receipt has materialised. Our room was big and that is the only good thing I can sadly comment on it. The room was not very clean and the bathroom has never seen any form of cleaning products or bleach! There was hair in the plughole and grime around the edges. The beds were rock hard! Flies flying around the room and bugs on the curtains. The noise from the surrounding rooms was unacceptable and the air con was practically non existent. Getting around the local area proved challenging as we asked reception to book us a taxi and then she left and went home.. finally a taxi did arrive after much deliberation from other members staff. Upon arriving back from dinner, I was saddened and shocked to see alcohol bottles in the main office and door wide open! They advertise a pool. The water was murky and quite frankly disgusting. This hotel requires serious immediate attention from health and safety. How this can be marked as a 4 star hotel is beyond me. I do not recommend and I will not be returning.

We were sent to this hotel for two nights because our original hotel was 'overbooked'. This seems to be a local scheme and is common practice with tourists. In any case, I definitely do not recommend Ledras Beach Hotel. It took us a while to find the reception desk at 11 p.m. The man at the front desk didn’t speak any English. We weren’t told anything about the situation. The rooms are in poor condition; there weren’t even towels for two people. No blankets were provided. The curtains barely stayed up. The pool area is very small. There’s nothing to do in the surrounding area. The beach is close by, but there’s no bar or sunbeds. The hotel is located in what feels like the middle of nowhere. There is a small village within walking distance, and I highly recommend Mama’s Kitchen restaurant for dining. It was the only pleasant thing in the area.

We are just back from a 12 days stay in this family run hotel in the south of Rhodes, and we'd love to be back soon. We were aware of all the reviews, but we went ahead nonetheless, and we are more than happy. We are a family of four with young 2 girls. The staff is competent and happy to oblige you in every respect. The restaurant was absolutely to our likey: friendly and lovely staff who went the extra mile to please you. Tasty dishes with wholesome ingredients and not at all boring as people write... always 2 pasta dishes plus rice and 3 main courses with fresh fruit, vegetrian option always available, what more do you want, really? The hotel is up to scratch on every respect, working air con, functioning fridge with freezer, large bathroom, very comfy beds and a more than adequate swimming pool with kids area. Just forget about the stars and enjoy the atmosphere: you are on holidays... !!! The most spectacular sea is just a mere 5 min walk, a quaint historical real greek village is 8 min around the corner with the most spectacular and lavish backery you can wish for, completely stocked supermarket, plenty of restaurants, bars and shops... We are planning to be back!

Arrived 17 July for 7 days at 10pm the Hotel Manager was on the Reception Desk at the time who was so very rude. He asked for the Hotel Tax to paid by cash straight away before even showing us the rooms. He took us to our room 111 where there was no lighting in the corridor asked the Manager about this he replied he will fix tomorrow! Our room was dirty, the shower had clumps of hair on the shower tray, looked and felt more like a 1 star hotel and not a 4 star hotel. As part of our package we had paid for breakfast & evening meal, we went down to the breakfast area in the morning which was also dirty all the food was left uncovered we decided not to eat there just to use the hotel as a base. On day 4 asked for clean towels which seemed to be a lot trouble for the staff to find, on day 5 I asked for the room to be cleaned as it had not been and the bin in the toilet was overflowing. Around the pool area: Sun lounges were dirty the pool was murky and also dirty, we saw staff just pouring fluid into the pool from a plastic container from the bridge above the pool. All in all, the staff were lazy, the hotel was dirty and would never wish to stay there again. Please do not book it is not a 4 star hotel more like a 1 star. I have tried to leave a review earlier but does not seem to have appeared. I do not know why there are good reviews against the hotel. Do not waste your money

When we arrived we were told that the hotel was fully booked baring in mind we rang the hotel the day before our departure to remind them that we were coming and arriving early hour of the morning. We got there and some guy walked down the path and just said “get in my car” me and my partner were very confused. We felt scared as it was early hours of the morning and some stranger was telling us to get in his car. We refused and walked up to the hotel reception the reception was closed even through it states on there website that it’s 24hr and i rang before and asked if it was 24hr and they said yes. The guy who tried to get us to go in his car said the hotel was fully booked and that we needed to go to another hotel. My and my partner were so confused is was about 4am and we were very tired. I would 100% not recommend this hotel at all. The majority of the positive reviews on trip advisor for this place are clearly fake account as they use the same profile picture just a different username. All the negative review are all true. Please don’t book this place it is unorganised, unsafe and poorly managed. We were then taken to another hotel which was just as terrible. The room we were put in wasn’t even clean, it took us 2 hrs to check in as there was no one at reception, the food was terrible and the rooms were more of prison cell then a hotel room.

This year, we had an amazing vacation on the island of Rhodes, staying at the Ledras Hotel that exceeded our expectations! The food was simply fantastic! The local dishes were delicious, and every day we looked forward to more tasty treats. We didn’t lack anything – there was plenty to choose from! The hotel staff was outstanding. Everyone spoke English, but the biggest bonus was Asia, who speaks Polish. She was always helpful and gave great advice on where to go on the island. Thanks to her, our vacation was even better! The hotel is the perfect place to relax. The beautiful terraces are inviting for relaxation, and the large pool with plenty of loungers is perfect for lazy days in the sun. From the upper terrace, there is a stunning view of the beach. Additionally, the hotel provides peace and quiet, allowing for complete relaxation. There are shops nearby, so if you need anything, it’s all within easy reach. We will definitely return to this hotel! We highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation on Rhodes.

The hotel was very dirty, especially the bathrooms. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were very monotonous and at times disgusting. The staff were rude, impolite, and refused to help with even the smallest requests. Additionally, the staff often screamed at each other which made the atmosphere of the hotel terrible. The pool and beach chairs were dirty and unsanitary. The only positive thing about it this hotel was the location; however there are so many better quality and value hotels in the area. Would not recommend to anyone!

Decided to come solo at the last minute and wasn’t sure what to expect but right from the beginning the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and sad to say goodbye. The area is very beautiful and relaxing! Would definitely recommend
