Romantic Hotels in Nantong

"I revisited the Nantong Sandy Hotel with high expectations for a second stay, but this time my experience was significantly worse. Many of the amenities and services have been cut back. Regarding transportation, the shuttle service within the park, which used to allow guests to board at any point, now only stops at a few designated locations. This makes getting to and from the activity areas very inconvenient. As for included activities, the miniature train ride and animal feeding experiences, which were previously complimentary, have been canceled. Now, to explore the park, you either have to rent a car at your own expense or drive yourself, which implicitly increases the cost of the visit. The experience at the Ice and Snow World was even worse. The snow inside was dirty and discolored, and basic protective shoe covers are no longer provided for free. Staff informed me that I either had to purchase disposable plastic shoe covers for 45 RMB or let my shoes get wet from the snowmelt. On my first visit, shoe covers were provided free of charge; this now feels like a disguised form of forced consumption. Overall, the hotel and park management seems increasingly perfunctory, and the quality of service is declining year after year. It's completely inconsistent with the high room rates, and I'm very disappointed."

"The location of Totoro is simply perfect! With a subway station right outside, city landmarks and popular attractions are just minutes away. Nearby, there are food courts and shopping malls, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. When you're tired, you can always return to the hotel to rest, and in the evening, you can stroll the streets and soak up the city's vibrant atmosphere. For travelers seeking a deeper immersion in local life, this is the perfect choice!"

"A bit rough around edges, nice and very clean stay. Perfect for business ppl and young couples. If you go for a walk a lot, this place is for you.interesting neighborhood with tennis school and local river photoinstallments. Not far is a ferry terminal and univercity campus. 5 min walk from metro 1. Staff is knowledgable. I had a very early train, and kind person accepted the room card and swiftly handled all the formalities. Overall, budget friendly business option. However, better bring own rubber slippers, shower floor slippery for elderly person. Nice, stable, budget friendly and perfect location."

"Stayed at this hotel for the second time in a month because we had an early train to catch from Nantong Railway Station. Service and room were great again. Explored their gym and laundry room which were fully stocked with whatever we needed. Will recommend to family and friends."

"The room is not very big, but the hygiene is OK. It is equipped with hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes. The mattress is also comfortable. It's just that it's a bit noisy because the room faces the street, so you have to close the window when you sleep at night. The attitude of the service staff is also OK, and they gave you two bottles of water before you leave."
