Romantic Hotels in Tai'an

This hotel near the foot of Mount Tai is a true gem! The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Zhang, was incredibly sweet and attentive. Check-in was a breeze, and she patiently explained all the hotel activities and breakfast times. Her warm service really elevated the entire experience. They even upgraded my room, gave me a complimentary breakfast, and a disposable bathtub liner. The housekeeping lady was also very prompt with her service. The hotel's Chinese restaurant is definitely worth trying; the 'Chilin' fish with fried tofu balls was a delicious and culturally unique dish. The hotel's garden design, shaped like a butterfly, is beautiful. The amenities are fantastic, with a mini-zoo featuring deer, alpacas, and peacocks, as well as lush pomegranate and hawthorn orchards. It's all very thoughtfully designed. I also tried the hotel's premium peaches, and they were excellent. This trip was definitely worth it, and I'll be staying here again next time I visit Mount Tai.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful, one of my best night in a hotel and the check in staff Vino he was magnificent and willing to help all the way.

The hotel is a five-star property. Winta Liang at the front desk provided excellent service and even helped us with a room upgrade. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is good, and the comfort level is great. They also have a self-service laundry room, which is a fantastic amenity. However, the public areas and elevators didn't have air conditioning in the mornings, which is something that needs improvement. The breakfast selection was limited and didn't seem to feature much local flavor; I suggest they work on that.

The polite staff were quickly settled, the location was convenient, the staff helped when I had questions. With regard to breakfast, I didn't get used to Chinese cuisine, so I didn't like it.

The condition of the room was absolutely dreadful and dilapidated, with mould on walls and in the bathroom, multiple stains on the walls which looks like mud/blood/killed bugs, and the bathroom smelled really badly. We were given a room with blood stained duvet cover and bedsheets, which was promptly changed after we pointed it out. The only reason that I'm not leaving a one star review is because the receptionist was very kind and professional and he tried the best to sort out the bedsheet situation. We did not request a room change since even the corridors were messy and the courtyard was full of rubbish, so we assumed that the whole place would look like the room we were assigned, especially that we mentioned in our booking that we are on a honeymoon, so we expected to see some effort on hotel's side. The positives: kind staff, beautiful architecture (but the place is not cleaned often enough), central location so you don't have to climb more stairs as opposed to other hotels, free water and toiletries in the room (although I refused to shower in that bathroom), a beautiful location for the morning sunrise watching and a polite tour guide. I didn't have high expectations since I was keeping in mind that it's a place that's difficult to access, and I rarely leave bad reviews for any accommodation, but I think that it's needed to point out to the property what needs improving so they don't go out of business. I have no idea how on earth they have a 4* ranking. Perhaps we were given a low standard room, however, we went for one of the cheapest options and I was still more expensive than staying in a 5* hotel in Shanghai (that's where we were before)

The family of three stayed for two nights, the environment is good, the small courtyard has tables and chairs to enjoy flowers, drink tea, and the room is clean and tidy. It is a bit inconvenient to eat, the overall experience is good!
