Barberini Dream

What a fantastic find! This gem of a boutique hotel is located in the bustling centre of Rome close to numerous bars and restaurants as well as shopping. We were greeted by the amazing Veruska who showed us around our amazing apartment room. The attention to detail in the room is simply stunning. Featuring a high vaulted ceiling with your own tribute to Michael Angelo it is simply beautiful. With a superb supper king size bed and beautiful decoration the room is stunning. The room cones with complimentary mini bar, snacks, coffee machine and a TV with a host of channels along with streaming services. It has a great bathroom with a fantastic shower. The room is incredibly secure which is very reassuring and was in such a great location for exploring around Rome. Veruska couldn’t do enough for us and was an absolutely AMAZING host. A delicious breakfast was served in the room at a time to suit us. She also allowed our driver from the airport to drop our bags whilst we hot-footed it to the Colosseum for a pre-booked guided tour (we were running late!!) The only slight negatives were the slightly hard mattress and shutters on the windows restrict daylight but they do reduce traffic noise which is EVERYWHERE in Rome! For the price this is simply stunning and we would return in a heartbeat! I cannot recommend the Barberini Dream highly enough! 5 STARS!!!

An exceptional B&B near Piazza Barberini. Beautiful rooms with all very nice breakfast, which you can choose just about anything you might want. The host was wonderful and the location is perfect for exploring all of Rome's historic area.

I recently stayed at the Barbarin Dream Hotel in Rome and had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was exceptional; despite my late arrival, the staff were waiting for me and had organized a transfer from the airport to the hotel. The room was equipped with a fully stocked minibar, and the bed was clean and cozy. The owners are very nice people, and if you want to get a more authentic Italian feeling, this type of hotel is perfect. You have your own keys and can come and go whenever you want. The location is very central, within walking distance to bus and metro stations, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's a safe area to stay in. Don't expect too much from the Italian breakfast – it's typically just coffee and a cornetto. However, you can order eggs and various types of cornettos. If you prefer toast or a sandwich, the hosts are always happy to accommodate you at any time in the morning. Just remember to ask for fresh towels from time to time and enjoy your stay! ⸻ Tips for Future Guests: Airport Transfer: If you're arriving late, inform the hotel in advance so they can arrange a transfer for you. Local Dining: Explore the nearby restaurants for authentic Italian cuisine. Ask the hotel staff for recommendations. Public Transport: Utilize the nearby bus and metro stations for easy access to Rome's attractions. Breakfast Options: While the typical Italian breakfast is simple, don't hesitate to request eggs, toast, or sandwiches if you prefer a more substantial meal. Towel Service: Remember to ask for fresh towels periodically during your stay. Safety: The area around the hotel is safe, but it's always good to stay aware of your surroundings, especially when exploring at night. This residence is a real gem. Its location just off the Piazza Barberini is discreet but puts you within walking distance of the best Rome has to offer. The rooms are quite large and exquisitely decorated. All modern facilities. Incredibly comfortable bed. Plenty of snacks to go round and a free welcome bottle of red wine. Breakfast is served in the room with a reasonable range of choices. Hostess Veruska was available at any time to deal with any queries or minor issues. I will definitely be going back! Like many properties in Rome, there could be accessibility issues for someone with a disability.

This beautiful accommodation is a real find. The room itself is huge with a king bed, sitting area, breakfast table, closet and coffee maker, wine fridge. Snacks, wine, and water! The en-suite Bath is also big and fully equipped with anything you might need, including a Bidet! It is accessed by a small elevator to the second floor! The owner took our suitcases and brought them up! The building is a few yards away from Barberini square which is a hub for taxis, the metro and buses. From here you can walk to the Spanish Steps or the Trevi Fountain and beyond! There are many restaurants and bars nearby and lots of shopping! The best part of our stay was meeting the owners who welcomed us like family and couldn’t do enough to make us feel comfortable! We had a wonderful time in Rome and it was so nice to retreat to our accommodations at night, where it was so quiet!

This is our second stay at Barberini Dream Verushka and Gianlucca are fabulous hosts. Our room is beautiful. Very clean and well equipped. They have thought of everything you may need. Beautiful breakfast each morning. Easy walking distance to many sites. Just about 25 min walk from Rome Termini. Busy area but Our room is so quiet at night. Great sleep on very comfy beds. Highly recommend the Barberini Dream.
