I loved the scenery. It was a lovely location and the house-in-the-woods character was well developed from the outside. I didn't feel the interiors were up to par though. I was staying in sunnyside which was a gorgeous house with a very rustic feel but the interiors felt very stuffy and dated. The staff, though friendly, could have been a bit more welcoming especially since it takes a long journey to get to that hotel. I don't feel the ammenities of the location, such as for example the breakfast situation or where we have access to (e.g. for a swim) were explained and there was little of it in the room itself. It is a stunning venue though. they have much more they can do with it!

The location of the hotel is very good and convenient. It is not far from the school. The hotel is very clean and has a good environment. I have stayed here many times and it is really good. You can try it. I recommend it~

A century-old hotel, I stay here every time I come. It is a resort hotel nearby, with many weddings and activities, and the small environment is quite good. The hotel's exterior looks very old, and the interior is very warm. The room's hygiene quality and bedding quality are also good. Since it is next to the famous Hotchkiss School, many students and parents stay here. The hotel will be very busy before and after the holidays, so you need to book in advance.

The rooms are nice and comfortable and the bagels in the restaurant are delicious!
