Honestly can’t really fault this hotel. Start off with staff, all staff members were so polite, lovely and helpful. Everyone on the bar was lovely towards me and my partner and absolutely brilliant with the kids. Receptionist were polite and helpful if we didn’t understand something. They also helped by ordering taxis for us as we was struggling. The staff in the restaurant were brilliant, never waited more than two minutes before being asked what we wanted to drink. They were all so amazing and lovely with my baby too. Honestly lovely and amazing and friendly people. Mohan (sorry not sure how it’s spelt) was absolutely amazing! This man went above and beyond with entertainment for kids. My eldest two adored him to the point there was tears they was leaving him when coming home. He was honestly such a pleasure and lovely, genuine and kind person. He provided kids club in the morning, afternoon and did a mini disco every night. This man deserves a pay rise in my opinion and is 100% a reason I would definitely return here. Thank you. The rooms were cleaned and tidied every single day. The cleaning staff were so lovely. Unfortunately myself and the kids ended up poorly for two days and the kids had accidents. They were lovely and reassuring about it. Everywhere in the hotel was so clean and tidy. I saw countless times cleaners wandering about always doing something. The food, now the food wasn’t to my liking unfortunately but that’s just me. It’s a very seafood place. I am not a seafood person. There is “British” food but it’s cold and well personally that’s not me. There was always something though just not very often much. My partner however loved the food! Deserts were amazing. The food is repetitive but it’s buffet style so it’s to be expected. The pools aren’t quite as big as they look in the pictures but still all the same kids were extremely happy. The entertainment was on every night and most really enjoyable. Throughout the week there’s something different for all age groups. Honestly I would 100% come back again and I would recommend. Thank you for an amazing two weeks!

3rd visit to this hotel 23rd Sept - 30th Sept & in our opinion we love this hotel. Fantastic sea view rooms with decent sized balcony, room & bathroom ample size & cleaned & towels changed daily. Location great, short walk to the beach which is literally across the road & a few minutes to all bars & shops. Reception, Dinning Room & Bar staff always friendly. Good choice of foods both in restaurant & at the snack bar. We generally use the pools between the 2 hotels as quieter & yes pools are cold but very welcoming in 31 degrees. Hotel Salou II is being used for asylum seekers, this may be a bit intimidating to some travellers but they did keep themselves to themselves & you've got to think that we could be slightly intimidating to them! All in all we have had a fantastic time & will be defiantly retuning for a 4th visit.

We arrived after a long day travelling to be told no room available for the first night of our 4 night stay. We were told we would have to stay at there sister hotel about 10 minutes walk away to sleep and breakfast for the night. Anyway booked into our hotel the next day. Room was clean with a large bed and large bathroom which was nice but there was an unpleasant smell when we entered our room. Breakfast was ok with a lot of choice but dinner was the same every night so a couple of nights we eat in restaurants nearby. Unfortunately every night families next to us were very noisy until gone 12 so did not have a very good nights sleep. Enjoyed Salou but probably would not stay in this hotel again.

We stayed in a big family room on the top floor, very clean, with a large terrace. We had a halfboard meal plan, the breakfast was ok, but the dinner was avrreage, nothing special and every day the same food, but the food was ok, not great or worse. The disappointment is with staff from the restaurant wich it seems to me that they are watching you in a spy manner and for example if you want to take a fruit outside from the restaurant they won’t let you, and this happend with us, because of the kids..Also no drinks were included in the dinner, you have to pay even the still water😥. They have a lovely top roof pool, the they closed at 22.00 PM i think, and we couldn’t enjoy it during the day ,the roo top is not children friendly zone, and the children are not allowed.

This is my 5th/6th visit to Santa Monica and if we book Salou we always choose to stay here. I have stayed with friends and also with my husband. Fantastic location and very central, food is always hot and always something to eat with a varied choice. Drinks are fine and standard glass inside and plastic outside! Staff are always nice and friendly and always helpful with any questions or requests. Rooms are cleaned daily and always a high standard! It’s a lovely family hotel and the entertainment staff are always trying their hardest. Huge shout out to Charlie as he is just amazing and so funny 😂 added one day that security guard is really going to catch you!!!! I would highly recommend the hotel and would absolutely return
