Comfort Suites San Jose Airport Reviews

The entrance to hotel is from parking lot not on the Main Street. Staff is friendly and room is clean and spacious. There is not a lot of varieties of food for breakfast but get all the basics: eggs, sausages, bread, bagel, yogurt, waffle, coffee and tea. Sound proofing is not too good. The light rail (tram) stop (Gish stop) is about 2 min walk. Very convenient.

It is near San Jose Airport, Cisco and Foxconn in the San Francisco Bay Area. The transportation is convenient. It is very convenient to go to Highway 880. The room is clean and tidy, and there is free breakfast.

Surprisingly great, I lived for a day with the mentality of giving it a try. This area is full of hotels and motels, too many. The man at the front desk has a super nice attitude, and the room space is also good. The most amazing thing is the toilet in the bathroom, which is actually the high-speed flushing mode on the plane and train. It's amazing 😂😂 This is the first time I've seen it in my life. . . Breakfast is on the 2nd floor, eggs are boiled whole, and waffles can be baked. Most of the first floor of the hotel is a parking lot, next to it is Denny's. We have never been there. It takes 5 minutes to walk to 711. The price is very expensive and a bit suspicious. The hotel itself is very recommended to stay in. Unfortunately, it is a pity that this large hotel only relies on a suspicious 711 to supply daily supplies. If there is a safeway or trader joe's, this area will be great.

I expect any Comfort Suites (or higher) level hotel with “Airport” in its name, and within a couple of miles of the airport, to have a courtesy shuttle. This one does not, which added the Lyft cost both ways to the cost of staying here. I knocked off a star because of this. Otherwise, a generally Comfort-quality stay - in other words, just fine, comfortable, no ugly surprises, also no superlative surprises. A perfectly good three-star stay. If you stay in the midrange Choice hotels often, you know what I’m talking about.

This rating was not easy to give. San Jose is not a place we felt “safe” in. We thought that by staying near the airport we would have a better comfort level. However, when we parked in the covered parking there seemed to be a worker sitting in the garage with headphones and was polite and said Hello, but we couldn’t tell if he was a security guard or employee on a break. Like I said, he was very polite so we didn’t put any thought into it. We checked in and the room was fairly clean. What really took us by surprise was the fact that we had checked in late at night so the next morning when we opened the curtains and found that there were homeless people living in the parking lot on the opposite side of where we were parked. Nothing against homeless but it isn’t good for them to be in the parking lot of a business. No complaints with the hotel staff. The hotel staff were very nice and polite. We likely would not stay there again due to not having confidence in our safety and/or security.

This is the second Comfort Suites where I made a reservation, but did not stay due to the condition of the property. They show pictures on their site indicating a Denny's Restaurant with an arrow pointing to the location. There is NO Denny's there! Also show pictures of their "Market" with soft drinks, snacks, etc. The only thing on the Market shelves was dust. As in completely bare! Hand sanitizer dispenser next to elevator empty.! Hallways a wreck. Lamp shades in room sitting on top of the bulbs, not attached to the lamp itself.

Very Friendly Front desk! Sol the Manager was very professional. Housekeeping was so nice even if they speak very little English. It's taken over by new owner, I believe this place will be better. I heard it was one of the most recommended hotel couple years back.

After a long day in the airport, this hotel was close and convenient. The neighborhood looked shady for us country bumpkins, so I was grateful for the enclosed parking and entrance to the hotel from the off street parking. The front desk was accommodating. The room was quiet. No heavy scents. The breakfast was sufficient. Cooked eggs and sausage. Juice was out of order.

parking garage smells like smoke, no security in and out of garage or building. Breakfast is the worst I've ever had at a hotel. I prepaid my stay and when I got home I got an invoice that they had charged my credit card for more than the prepaid amount, in other words I was double charged. I called the manager to inquire, he blew me off and said to call customer service. After getting through to customer service they redirected me to the hotel, saying the manager does all the billing. Frustrating....this place is not worth it. Also can hear loud hum of next door neighbors AC all night.

I was disappointed in what was my second visit to this establishment. The first clue should have been the indifference of the manager on duty. But then, our room smelled like sewage until we got the air circulating. The next morning, when our ride to the airport failed us, there was no getting assistance from hotel staff for a cab; he was too busy sleeping. We won't be back.

Nasty. Horrid pungent smell upon entry to the hotel. Corridor to room has heavily stained carpets there is no excuse for this, heavy traffic or not it should be cleaned. It's a non smoking 🚭 hotel but you could smell ********* as you walked passed some rooms. Room it's self seemed clean except once again the carpet which was disgusting. Bed was comfy and sheets clean. Bathroom floor dirty, sink and bath had black hairs in. (I'm blonde) Breakfast. 8am juice machine no orange or cranberry, machine empty. Tables dirty counter not cleaned, bread was dry. Management please do not apologize if you read this. If you cannot see the dirt then you are in the wrong industry. If this hotel is observing Covid protocol I'd hate to think what it was like before. Even the hand sanitizers on the walls were empty.

Stay Away. Beware the owner fired his entire staff today and evicted guests who have been long term. I cannot express more strongly that you look elsewhere. I have filed a BBB complaint as well as Dept of Justice,
