This stay was absolutely terrible and completely overpriced! The room's cleanliness was a major concern; it clearly hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. The faucets and showerhead spewed black, dirty water, with one stream strong and the other weak. My complaints to the front desk were met with indifference and no timely follow-up. There was absolutely no comfort during the entire stay. Avoid this place at all costs; I do not recommend it. The service at this hotel definitely does not match its star rating or pricing. Room 861 had intermittent noise from downstairs, and the surrounding area was chaotic. There was construction downstairs or something similar. They called it a 'sea view room,' but the location was quite awkward. The value for money is extremely low – stay at your own risk. The kids' area also had nothing much to do; it looked big but was only suitable for older children aged 6-12. It's not for toddlers. The hotel was incredibly thoughtful. They called me even before I arrived in Sanya to ask if I needed a safety rail for the bed or any children's amenities. The bedding was very clean, and my mom said the pillows were super comfortable! My butler was also very attentive and even brought me two coconuts. The ocean view from the room is fantastic too. If I hadn't brought the kids, I would have loved to just spend days relaxing on the balcony and gazing at the sea.

The first thing I did on the way was contact the customer manager, Chris, asking him to arrange Hainanese chicken rice for me in advance, thoughtfully preparing room service for my child. Upon returning to the room, my weary heart was first soothed by a warm meal. We stayed in a sea-view room with a breathtaking view, yet we felt no excitement. My family member was still in the hospital, and I was busy until past 1 AM before finally getting some sleep. The coconut sent by the hotel was sweet and comforting. In that moment, no matter how beautiful the sea view, it couldn't compare to human kindness. What truly broke me and brought tears to my eyes instantly was the next morning. As I was leaving for breakfast, I met the cleaning lady on the 12th floor. I briefly explained the sudden family emergency and the many inconveniences at the hospital, only hoping she could help me prepare some disposable toiletries later. She proactively helped me pack my clothes, carefully reminded me if I had left anything in the room to avoid me having to go back and forth, and even called the front desk to arrange for a luggage cart – I had originally planned to carry eight pieces of luggage downstairs myself with my child. This thoughtfulness was completely unexpected. Many hotels nowadays offer service with the explicit goal of getting a good review. However, this lady had no ulterior motives, she was calm, unhurried, empathetic to the guest's needs, and always thinking ahead for the guest. Her words and actions were incredibly considerate, like family. In my most helpless and chaotic moment, she didn't provide a standardized service; she offered genuine kindness and assistance. My heart was deeply touched at that moment. It's a pity that I didn't catch her name in my haste. I only managed to take her photo so I could remember her. I sincerely request that the hotel commend this excellent employee. She is a true gem of the hotel. The room was nice and very clean. I tried the hotel's photography service, and the photographer was excellent at making me feel comfortable and took really beautiful pictures. This JW Marriott and Autograph Collection are in the same complex, so staying at either allows you to enjoy the bar and pool of the other. Here's my review of the JW: **Service:** Excellent, a definite five-star-plus rating. After booking, a guest butler added me on WeChat. Upon check-in, Lydia assisted me, and my ocean-view room reservation was upgraded (I'm not sure if this was related to my Marriott Platinum status). Throughout my stay, I could simply contact them via WeChat for any requests, which was very convenient. **Facilities:** Good. Although it's not a brand-new hotel, it meets JW standards. The swimming pool is large and impressive. **Dining:** The breakfast spread is extensive and available until 11 AM. I highly recommend the Hou'an noodles. **Views and Activities:** As a resort hotel, the experience was wonderful. I won't go into details here; just look at the pictures. Overall, it was excellent. I'll definitely bring my children back next time!

It feels like the entire service system at this hotel operates in silos, with no interdepartmental coordination whatsoever. Many staff members seem to be new, only familiar with their own tasks, and there's a complete lack of联动 between departments. I found a gecko in my room, and as compensation, they sent me fruit and a coconut, which ended up giving me a stomach ache for an entire day. The room balcony was very comfortable, and once the sliding door was closed, the room was super quiet and not noisy at all. Overall, it was a great experience, and my child had a fantastic time. This is an older hotel. I first stayed here when it opened in 2018, and back then, everything felt pretty good since it was new. Now that I've returned, I feel like many of the hotel's facilities and the overall environment have aged a lot. The breakfast was also a bit worse than I remembered. However, the lady at the front desk provided excellent service; her sweet and friendly smile was a definite highlight.

The sea view from the room is absolutely stunning! It's a great spot for families with kids. The hotel management is excellent; the pool staff always verifies if you're a guest before letting you in. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony, then heading out to hunt for seashells and crabs – you'll find hermit crabs, small crabs, and even fish everywhere... The hotel breakfast is also very rich and varied. It was a very pleasant trip, and I'll definitely be back!

Overall, the hotel was pretty good, but there were some downsides. The sliding door to the bathroom was broken when I checked in. Also, my booking included a paddleboarding activity, but they told me I needed to book it several days in advance and that it was fully booked. Yet, I saw plenty of unused paddleboards right there.

Our stay was absolutely perfect, with excellent service. We booked and checked in on the same day, quite late. The thoughtful staff at the front desk even changed our room for us, which our child loved! The hotel pool was clean, and the breakfast was extensive, with sushi that my kid really enjoyed 🍣. We're leaving Sanya today, and I'm a bit sad to check out – it's truly a relaxing resort. If we come back to Hainan, we'll definitely stay here again! 😊
