Loved the hotel!! It’s in the center of nara city It’s 5 mins walk to the nara shopping area, 5mins walk to the nara park there is deer walking around the hotel in the morning There is free morning city walk tour at 7:00-8:00 with local guide; the bicycle is free The view of the pond is nice the service is great!! 5stars to everything The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable They have drink lounge for free use with unlimited snacks; fruit juice, sake, beer, wine from 15:00pm-2:00am Really recommend everyone that travels to nara city to stay at this hotel!! The only downside of this hotel is the breakfast only provides japanese style food ; grill fish and onigiri The onigiri is huge, grill fish and miso soup is cold I wish they can make the onigiri smaller so We can taste more flavors And hope that they can provide a bakery corner for people who doesn’t like to eat fish Otherwise we loved the hotel and want to go Back again!! Ps: there is not parking space so we need to park at the coin parking costs us 2400¥ /night

Wonderful location wonderful hotel. For family and couple it is very suitable hotel with wonderful service. We will visit again.

Occasionally there are deer nearby next to Nara Park. Next to Kofukuji Temple, it is a very sentimental hotel. The place is small and the design is thoughtful. The original Ailu room was too small and only had two beds. The room in the photo is an upgraded one. For the room type, there is a small balcony next to the tatami. For Japanese breakfast, the rice balls are really big and can’t be eaten completely. It is recommended to make them smaller.

The room is not very practical because it has a tatami area. Elderly and children must be careful when staying there. The shower is in the bathtub, and water splashes easily, which is very bad. The food is highly recommended and delicious. We also chose to have dinner at the hotel

Wonderful hotel with amazing amenities for the guests. The architecture and decor is tasteful and the rooms are very spacious. The staff especially Rie was excellent! Very welcoming, extremely helpful and friendly. Strongly advise to book the restaurant for diner as well. We will go back for sure.

It’s such a serene place and a thoughtful hotel. Staying there felt like a spa/escape day in my solo week travel I’m Japan. The deer park, the viral mochi kiosk, the pagoda was all walkable but the free AM walking tour provided by the hotel, the afternoon/evening snack bars, the soft wood foot den was just all relaxing and so worth it. My birthday (which I never disclosed) was just a couple days earlier but for my dinner course they made sure to still acknowledge it with a cake. Wish I stayed longer.

The rice balls for breakfast were delicious. They weren't rice balls, but had a very rice ball-like texture.

I was surprised to find that toothbrushes and combs had disappeared since last year. Last year, it said on the website that they were not provided, but after the check-in explanation, I was asked about toothbrushes etc., so I thought that might be the case this time as well, but when I asked, I was told that they were not provided, which was disappointing. Also, when I asked about makeup remover, I was told that they were out of stock at the moment. I thought that maybe they were not provided like toothbrushes etc., but if they really were out of stock, I thought that was really bad... Also, unlike last year, the staff during the evening course were not very friendly, which was disappointing.

It is a beautiful place, it is in our top hotels, most beautiful, comfortable, clean and traditional… the reception is full of details and the staff does everything to explain and help. It is very very close to the most important landmarks.

This is my second stay. I don't know if it's because I checked in after 4pm, but the snacks in the lounge were downgraded from last time. Drinks with your meal are all-inclusive, so you can enjoy it without worrying about anything. Breakfast is very, very delicious, and it's the best, so I end up eating too much.
