Had a wonderful stay at Kuriyasuizan. I booked the room with outdoor bath in my own room, had a great soak at all hours of the day.
The meals (dinner and breakfast) was wonderful, and service was great as well!
Only drawback was the long walk from the kappaliner bus stop, it was a nightmare dragging 2 luggages up and down a thick snow covered slope, 6 mins walk on Google maps felt like 20 mins. If only there was a shuttle provided by the hotel 🤣

We stayed here as a couple in June 2025.
This is our fourth time at Kuriya Suizan.
No matter how many times we visit, the food is always excellent.
Each dish is carefully prepared and of a quality that you can enjoy with peace of mind.
However, I always have a slightly disappointing impression of the lounge.
In particular, the food and drinks were often not replenished quickly, and it was noticeable that they were left empty for long periods of time. It is a great service, so I would be happier if they could improve this point a little.
I have only stayed in rooms with open-air baths in the rooms, so I have not used the large public bath, but the bath in the room has automatic temperature control and is generally comfortable. However, it sometimes felt a little hot.
Nevertheless, overall it is a very satisfying inn. I would like to use it again next time.

It was truly the best travel destination. The staff service was the best. The facilities were the best. The food was the best. It was a perfect service that I could not fault. There were even Korean staff, so I was able to stay very comfortably, and each and every service was meticulous. I highly recommend it.

The dinner at Chusuishan Hotel [strong] [strong] [strong], from the moment I entered the hotel, I started to enjoy the food, including welcome snacks, welcome drinks, afternoon tea, dinner, bar time, midnight snack, breakfast, fruit meal... I couldn't stop until I checked out [silly smile]. The 4 stars for this service are for the waiter Xiaoyu, who answered questions patiently and carefully during the check-in process. The two stars were deducted for the driver who saw me pulling the suitcase down the stone steps and didn't help me. I asked him to help but he didn't help. This is the worst service I have ever encountered in Japan
