"We had a pleasant stay here—thanks to Yumi and the staff for being so kind and helpful! Their bright and cheerful attitude really lifted our mood. We visited Qianzhou to go to Mangshan, and overall, the hotel was a good choice. The room was clean, and the location is slightly tucked away, so it's quiet and peaceful. There's a small shop on the ground floor where you can get snacks, and although it's mainly fruit wine, they even sell Korean soju. Most things were great, but one issue: in some rooms, there was a noticeable smell from the bathroom. It definitely needs improvement. If that gets fixed, this place would be top-tier in terms of value for money."

"The hotel's location is pretty good, and it's convenient to get anywhere by taxi. There's parking available in both the front and back, not a huge number of spaces, but it's free which is great value. The laundry room is convenient, and I'm not sure what detergent they use, but my clothes came out really clean. Breakfast is decent, and you should definitely try the freshly made 'Shazhufen' (a local noodle dish). My room even got a free upgrade and came with a small outdoor patio, and the room itself was very spacious."

"Facilities: The hotel has been open for some years, so the facilities aren't super new, but the room was quite spacious and had pretty much everything you'd need. There's no minibar in the room. The swimming pool is open from 3 PM to just past 9 PM. The hotel is surrounded by schools, so there are plenty of small eateries and restaurants nearby. The soundproofing in the rooms could use some improvement... Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: The hotel is quite close to the highway exit, which is convenient. Service: The bellboy in the lobby was very polite. When we were leaving, he proactively and warmly greeted us, helped with our luggage, and even brought it to the car. I forgot his name, I don't think I saw a name tag on his uniform. The hotel breakfast was all very clean, and the variety was quite rich."

"This stay in Huaguan is like opening a dream trip with a beautiful encounter. Stepping into the hotel lobby, the soft lights are sprinkled on the exquisite decoration, and the air is filled with the elegant fragrance, which instantly calms my tired body and mind. "This is my first time to write a review, and the experience is really not that good. First of all, the house had just been renovated and the smell of formaldehyde was extremely pungent. I left the sliding window open all night to rest. Secondly, there are a lot of mosquitoes. Because the smell of formaldehyde is so strong, I can’t close the windows, so even after turning off the lights, there are still flying insects crawling on my face😾. Finally, in Figure 4, when you enter the corridor that is tens of meters away from the room, there is no night light at night. The darkness is really scary, because the occupancy rate is not high, and the corridor and outside are very dark and quiet. I asked the front desk if they could turn on a night light or adjust me to a room near the elevator, but they were refused. I really didn’t sleep well all night😵"

It had a wabi-sabi feel, yet the details were human and warm. It had a traditional style, yet the rooms reflected a technological and modern aesthetic. Finally, I realized this might be the ”quality” we were looking for. It's said that the owner had previously worked as a teacher, then achieved financial independence by starting a tech company. In his 50s, he built a hotel, freed from worldly scrutiny and able to design and operate it to his own taste. In the evening, I sat in the lounge, enjoying a rich cocktail, listening to the graceful guzheng music, and observing the beautiful young women. All my emotional wrinkles were smoothed out, leaving behind a stable core. Not only the food and accommodation, but also the hotel's cultural experience programs were thoughtfully curated. The hotel also has its own dock with direct access to the Xiaodong River Visitor Center on the other side. Riding on a bamboo raft, the river breeze caressed my face, making me feel that life is beautiful and life is precious."

"The guest room was spacious, with two twin beds pushed together and an extra mattress, making the bed exceptionally wide and large, very comfortable to sleep in. The hotel wasn't old; in my opinion, it was the best hotel in town. The lake view from the room was fantastic. I think the best time to view it is 40 minutes before sunrise and two to three hours before sunset. The morning sunlight reflecting off the lake is so bright it's blinding, while artificial light sources at night spoil the ambiance. The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options, but the taste was just average."

"The hotel boasts an elegant and welcoming environment, nestled against a botanical garden. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, with particularly delicious rice noodles. The receptionist, Xiao Zhou, was exceptionally helpful; he even came out with an umbrella to greet me after I got out of the taxi in the pouring rain.
