"I had a really enjoyable stay at Loccal Collection Hotel Labuan Bajo. The hotel has a very unique and stylish concept, with architecture and design that stand out compared to typical hotels in the area. The atmosphere feels modern, aesthetic, and relaxing — perfect for a getaway in Labuan Bajo. One of the best parts of the stay was definitely the view. Overlooking the sea and surrounding hills, the scenery from the hotel was beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset. The pool area and common spaces were also great spots to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I appreciated the overall ambiance of the property, which felt calm and cozy throughout the stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever needed, making the experience even better. The location is also convenient, with easy access to cafés, restaurants, and the harbor area. Overall, Loccal Collection offers a memorable stay experience that combines comfort, good views, and a unique design concept. Definitely one of the more interesting places to stay in Labuan Bajo, and I would happily return again."

"The hotel offers an airport shuttle service for 70,000 IDR, which is much cheaper than private taxis. The bathroom had no dirty water issues, and with my own filtered shower head, there was no yellowing or blackening. The location is excellent, with plenty of food and drink options downstairs. It can be a bit noisy though, with people chanting, but otherwise, everything was fine."

"Best parts: ocean view rooms have a stunning view, and the balcony was lovely to sit and admire the view. Breakfast buffet was very solid, and the availability of packed breakfast boxes for day trips is very nice. Free airport shuttle was much appreciated. Worst parts: price is quite high for the area and the bathroom especially didn't meet the price expectations. No actual soap/hand soap, shower wasn't super nice, although it was clean. Other notes: it's about a 20-minute walk to the centre of the main *****. Great to be away from the main area and I was happy to walk to and from the main ***** as needed, otherwise I guess taxis can be used. The photo attached is the view from a room on the top floor. At time of my stay there are big construction areas around the property but I didn't have any noise inconveniences during my time."

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The only minor drawback is that the rooms are a little bit small, haha. But the service, well, that goes without saying – it's top-notch. The rooftop restaurant isn't even that expensive, and they even had World Cup viewing events. The hotel is super close to the pier, just a 10-minute walk. The little street below has a KFC and Starbucks, making it really convenient for Komodo island hopping. All in all, it was the perfect end to our graduation trip after the 'gaokao' (college entrance exam)."

"I was so satisfied that I stayed for two nights. Overall, everything was great. I lost my room card, and the staff even helped me look for it, although we didn't find it. The breakfast provided was also delicious and very satisfying."

"Overall, it was decent. There's a small beach right in front of the hotel. The main issue is that it's hard to get a car; Grab only offers motorbikes. To get a taxi, you need to find local drivers and add them on WeChat. Basic fares start at 40 yuan per trip. Labuan Bajo isn't a very big town, so if you're adventurous, you could rent a motorbike yourself. They do pick you up and drop you off at the hotel for trips to Komodo. Breakfast was okay, but since we were out exploring all day and just went to the pier for late-night snacks and walks in the evening, we really just used the hotel to sleep, so we didn't have high expectations. Oh, and Komodo is truly beautiful!"

"Had a very good memory in labuan bajo . The hotel location is awesome, you can literally walk from the airport with only 10minutes. But just the road to the hotel is terrible, not friendly to those who are carrying suitcases.Hotel staff are all super friendly and welcoming especially Elfren. This hotel is affordable with all basic facilities. Luckily I always have my amenities cuz they dont provide. Aircond is ok , unlike other reviews said. Just the washroom will accumulate the water after shower due to initial construction might be imbalance so the water cannot goes to the drain after taking shower. But anyway, this hotel is a very good choice ! Would come again"

"I really regret not discovering this hotel sooner! The hotel has a very quiet, Southeast Asian vibe. The service is also much better than hotels near the main tourist street. They offer yoga classes, morning Zumba on the beach, and even a diving club. I stayed at three different hotels in Labuan Bajo, and if I come back, this will be my top choice. The only thing to watch out for is mosquitoes in the room, but the front desk will provide mosquito coils if you ask."

"Staying at Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo was an absolute delight. Despite being a relatively new property, having opened about a year and a half ago, it runs with the precision and grace of a seasoned resort. The warmth and hospitality of the staff were unmatched from the moment I arrived, and I must give a special compliment to the efficient and helpful luggage service. The security team, the front desk personnel, and the F&B team were all incredibly proactive and obliging, making sure I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout my stay. Special mention to the front desk staff who were very helpful with our queries, reservations and check-out: Denal and Amelia 😊👋 I also want to highly compliment the day tour I took, which covered six different destinations. It was a perfect crash course of the entire national park and was well worth the money. I highly recommend anyone staying here to take up that one-day tour for an unforgettable experience seeing the dragons up close, frolicking on pink sands, snorkeling with turtles and manta rays and basking on a Bank crescent sandbank surrounded by crystal blue waters. While the breakfast variety was impressive and the chefs did a fantastic job keeping dishes stocked, the coffee/tea service was prompt...there is a small room for improvement in plate clearance. Being a bit more attentive to clearing used plates would certainly elevate the dining experience even further. Adding to that, we noticed that salt and pepper cruets weren't always consistently placed on every table, so ensuring those are readily available would be a great way to enhance convenience for guests. Additionally, Katamaran could significantly boost its appeal by offering complimentary access to its aquatic sports amenities, such as paddle boats, water bikes, and kayaking. We realized the free activities were not as popular though. Overall, with stunning views, excellent warm personalized service, I would highly recommend this hotel and will not hesitate to stay here again."

"An excellent hotel where everything is thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. The rooms and the entire property were very clean and well-maintained — everything looked neat and pleasant. The water in the shower was always running well, and there was consistently hot water, which is especially appreciated after a long day. A special thanks to the staff: kind, smiling, and always ready to help — you can really feel that they care. We were especially impressed that they prepared breakfast earlier than usual for us because of our early tours — a small gesture, but it says a lot about their attention to guests. At night, it was quiet and peaceful, nothing disturbed our sleep, and the room had a cozy atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and green, clearly well looked after. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends. Truly well done!"
