Have always found the food to be great here but was shocked when my granddaughter ordered a chocolate brownie dessert to find it came with nuts on top which weren’t stated on the menu. She has a nut allergy and when I questioned the kitchen they first said that there were no nuts and later told me they couldn’t tell me what nuts they were. Apart from being illegal in the EU to not inform you of contents because it’s potentially highly dangerous I was shocked that they still charged for the ice cream that came with it considering we were a group of 5 that had eaten a main course each. Even got charged an extortionate amount for tap water

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. If I ever return to Germany, I would like to stay here for a whole week! The proprietors were so kind, the property was charming, the breakfast was beyond excellent. Bamberg was one of my favorite cities to visit. It's just as nice as Nuremberg but not nearly so touristy. We accidentally left some of our clothes there, and they patiently worked with us in order to return them to us in America. Great, family friendly hotel.

Quiet hotel in a quaint town just outside of Bamberg. An easy walk to the nearby palace. Food at the restaurant was tasty, with large portions.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Personal an der Rezeption als auch im Restaurant war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich . Die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut. Dies gilt auch für das Frühstück. Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Comoda soluzione per visitare Bamberga. Hotel situato in una villaggio a pochi km da Bamberga localizzato in un tranquillo villaggio tedesco. L'hotel dispone di parcheggio scoperto privato e del ristorante con menu tipico tedesco accompagnato dalla birra di loro produzione;eccellente quella affumicata che e' tipica della zona. Camera molto ampia e ristrutturata da poco con un bagno comodo e funzionale;menzione speciale per la doccia davvero funzionale. Migliorabile la colazione poca scelta soprattutto sul dolce. Schöne Lage mitten im Dorf, aber dennoch ruhig. Leckeres Frühstück und regionale Spezialitäten am Abend. Freundliches Personal. Das schöne Schloss mit dem gepflegten Park ist fußläufig bequem erreichbar. Perfekt als Zwischenstopp oder gerne auch zum länger verweilen.

Wir waren für mehr als eine Woche hier. Frühstück prima und voll im Preis/Leistungsrahmen mit leckerer selbstgemachter Marmelade. Zimmer schön groß und modern, ruhiges Ambiente, großes Badezimmer. Großer hauseigener Parkplatz. Sehr freundliches Willkommen bei Ankunft. Essen, welches wir an einigen Abenden genossen haben, war top. Zudem hatten wir eine absolut interessante Brauereiführung vom Senior; seit dem schmeckt mir Bier nochmal besser, vor allem das von DreiKronen :-). Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Service, sowohl beim Frühstück, als auch beim Abendessen. Die Abende sind absolut wuselig, liegt sicher am tollen Essen, aber die Restaurantleitung (Christina) hat mit viel Überblick, dem guten Gespür für die besonderen Kleinigkeiten und immer guter Laune alles souverän mit dem ganzen Team im Griff. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
