Resort on water, love every bit of it. Food is good too.

The sea was so clear. Sea turtles can be seen from the balcony every night. very nice diving coaches. Highly recommended.

Good for snorkeling and a relaxing holiday

the transfer boat from Tawau Airport to the property is troublesome. The booking includes an airport pickup and boat transfer to the property but only at a fixed time per day. You need to be in Tawau Airport no later than 10:00am local time to use the pre-booked service. The time is very tricky and has very limited airline and easy to miss then they charge $321.26 to re-arrange pick up from Tawau Airport. Based on research, 1.5hr bus from Tawau Airport to port is RM25 (Malaysia currency, about $5.56) per person. Then 45min boat transfer to the property. The boat condition is super ugly which might not permit to carry passengers in United States. The boat condition like a multi-hand used fishing boat you can buy from cralist for less than $3000. However, the total charge is $321.26 for such transport services. After arriving in hotel, the hotel service is also very poor which I think it can not match a motel in United States. No phone in the room to connect to the front desk: you need use you own cell phone to call front desk and usually the signal is too poor to make a phone call. No enough shower towel either and hot water run out quickly during shower. What’s more, you need to pay extra to purchase internet. Price is ok but slow which can not make stable video conference which is super unfriendly for people need to work while traveling

It was a wonderful and amazing experience at sipadan kapalai dive resort. Clear water Starry night and many scenic corners through day and night!

Water Chalet is non-air conditioner room. I dont know that my Chalet is non-Aircon Room so i have to stay in the hot room. many customers complaint very hot especially day time. For meal is buffet style and with variety food. drinking water and codial drink is free. Especially morning is very noisy because of the electric car pass by the chalet. For the view , i agreed with what i see in the youtube. During sunset . it is beautiful and romance enviroment. dues of lack of water. we cant use bath tub and the water shower is very small and i feel like i am staying in no- star hotel. But the hotel officer did tell us because of lack of water. but the transport to the Kapalai is quite frequent and free. this is bonus points. Generally, for couple those are going to honeymood and taking photos are the best to go.

A lovely and amazing hotel located in the middle of the sea. Buffet lunch and dinner are all quite okay, esp the BBQ food during dinner. The hotel was quite full with many local visitors. Didn't manage to go to the Mabul island and snorkelling outside the hotel. Better to check with the agency or hotel in advance. Don't expect too much to do in the hotel, relax and chill is one of the best options. Land transportation was well arranged from airport to the hotel. Be aware that you can get all wet on the speed boat if the weather is no good and the speed is too fast.

The room is dimly lit, but the facilities are OK. The balcony is great. There are many tourists during the May Day holiday, so the shuttle bus is very slow. The signal is indeed not good, haha, but the scenery is worth it. The deep dive costs 520 MYR per person, the instructor leads two, and we saw six turtles!!! The water quality and experience are a lifelong regret!!

Environment: Very good environment. The whole island is very beautiful. The natural resources are invincible. It is in the middle of the water houses. Turtles and manta rays can be seen everywhere. No snakes as others said. Every day when it rains, the employees pick up petals from the flower pots one by one. It’s just that the birds are always singing at night. It’s very noisy. Our room is opposite the staff dormitory. The employees sing karaoke until at least 10:30 at night. Before that, it’s too noisy to sleep. Facilities: relatively simple. The room feels very big and I don’t know what to put. There are only one large and one small bed. There is no washing machine and no place to hang clothes. The signal is very poor. There is no free wifi, no landline, and no TV. You can only call the buddy to answer the phone. There is no signal and it is basically impossible to contact. There is a unified dining hall on the island. The food can only be said to be full because the dinner is too late and people have to rush to grab it. This scene is really not good. Hygiene: very clean, no odor, even if it rains, there is no odor. Service: Because the network is not good, it is not easy to call the buddy. There are not many cars. You can only walk out by yourself. There is basically no other service. The middle safe was accidentally locked without a password. I called the front desk four times in two days to find someone to open it, but no one came. Finally, we contacted Ctrip and someone came to open it.

Round-trip transfers from the boat terminal to the hotel and from the airport to the terminal: The waterway between the sea and the land makes the journey poetic. Overall, I was deeply impressed by this hotel. Both the natural scenery and the hotel services made me satisfied. I will recommend this hotel to my friends so that they can also feel the beauty of this place.

Stayed for two nights. It was sunny on the second day. The scenery was still very good, especially the sea at the sunset position. The sea and sky were really one color. The overall service was also very good. There was a welcome ceremony for entering the island and a shuttle bus at any time. The network was indeed poor, but I knew it in advance. It was almost the same as expected. We stayed in room 30. The mobile phone card had no signal at all. The wifi we bought was also intermittent. I could occasionally refresh pictures and texts. **Don't think about it! There was a small episode before leaving the next day. I was awakened by the noise outside early in the morning. I went out and saw that it was a snorkeling tourist. There was an old man who was about to swim under our house. I reported it to the front desk and the staff dealt with it. Snorkeling tourists should not cross the line. In fact, they crossed it on the first day, but it was relatively quiet and did not affect us. There was no swimming under our house, so no one cared.

Southeast Asia's sea view ceiling, the scenery is invincible! The buffet is a bit unpalatable, the room facilities are average, I live in the farthest house, there is no signal at all, and I really experience the life of being isolated from the world.
