The hotel is clean and provides the products of GROWN ALCHEMIST for body cream, hand wash, shampoo and body cleaner. All of them smell good and girls will like this. Besides, plastic slippers are provided. Very considerate since the paper slippers would get wet after bathing. I ordered in-room dining for 2 times. Excellent for 1st time but disappointed for 2nd since the food was left cool and I waited for around 45 mins. For breakfast, it was highly recommended. The food was delicious and the price was lower if reserved one day advancement.

Great location in the middle of Hongdae shopping and clubbing street.
5 mins walk to MRT and bus stop for airport bus.
Can be a little noisy at night due to music and cars downstairs.
Our room aircon was not working but we did not report it as it was too late at night.

I was travelling with 3 young children so i pushed the two double beds together to make a big bed. The area behind the bed frames and night stand was filthy. Lots of garbage from previous guests. One of my children showed signs of bed bug bites -- the timeline matches exactly with the hotel stay (first time bites take 2 weeks to appear on the skin); we hadn't travelled anywhere else before and after this trip. We contacted the hotel and they did hire a pest control company to do an investigation, they kept us updated and said they didn't find signs of bed bugs (which i believe because i also checked when we first arrived; but this could have been a very small and new infestation of only a few bugs and we were the unlucky first ones to get bitten). In any case the hotel handled this appropriately and it's unfortunate for them to have picked up bed bugs and they're doing their best but for all other travelers: AVOID ROOM 1011 IF YOU CAN HELP IT!
Other than this hiccup, the hotel itself is in a great location. The front facing staff are most wonderful as well. Lovely and friendly and super helpful.

Convenient location, only 5 mins walk to the subway station nearby. The hotel reception is friendly and speaks good English. There's a locker on the ground floor and big enough for luggage, so you can get a slip from the reception and leave your luggage in the locker on the last day.
The he cleaner didn't refill our tissue box and amenities on 3 out of 4 nights.

Sound insulation is not very good, but thanks to the counter staff for helping to deal with the noise problem immediately.
The location is super convenient, Located in the business district, next to the subway station, the pick-up point for one-day activities is also nearby.
Good thing is you can take out the breakfast if you’re trip start very early. The buffet start at 6:30.

Basic hotel about 10-15 mins away from the station. Self check in, room and toilet is small, limited space for 2 large luggages. No house keeping, got to bring used towels to recept counter to change for new ones. Disappointed that the blinds so dented and they only provide 1 very soft pillow, when ask for additional they don’t have. Overall if you are traveling to Seoul on budget solo, this hotel might worth staying.

The location is a business area but very close to bus stops, underground stations and other tourist attractions.
There is a small gym with weights and cardio machines.
The room is clean and the towels smell good but you need to pay a small charge if you open their toothbrush and toothpaste packs.
We requested a higher floor and they provided that. Early check-in wasn’t possible but there is free luggage storage. Also, we forgot the stuff in the fridge when we checked out. They kept the stuff and we could pickup later. Nice service overall.

Room was comfortable. Location-not near the attractions but I like that there is a Lotte supermarket at the basement. Stayed here towards the last leg of our trip and I was able to buy Korean snacks and grocery items on our last day. It was hard to get a taxi/uber, spent 30mins trying to get one (drivers cancelled) in the end took subway to get to Seoul station to take train to airport. I suggest just taking the “slow” train at the subway below Lotte Hotel Mapo that goes directly to the airport terminals. I didn’t know this and had prebooked arex train at Seoul Station. Overall good hotel and staff were polite and nice. Would stay here again if I go back to Seoul.

I always stay in Roynet Hotel in Mapo because of its convenient location and very close to all kinds of public transport. Eg bus stop (many buses to various popular locations in Seoul) and train stations (there are 2 - Mapo and Gongdeok).
Also, it is the first stop for the airport limousine from ICN airport. You don't have to go around the city to reach the hotel.
There are many many many food places within walking distance of the hotel. So many that you will never be able to finish what the area has to offer. There are several cafes too. A Twosome Cafe is just downstairs the hotel. But I personally think that the hotel's own cafe corner near the front desk already serves very excellent coffee. You can save money and get your daily dose of caffeine for free.
There are several 24/7 convenience store and an Olive Young nearby too. A 7 min cab ride to The Hyundai Seoul where you have all the popular brands under one roof as well as a huge food area!
I highly recommend this hotel for your next Seoul trip.

孙孙I have lived three times near Hongik University! It's very easy to find with the map~ The environment is very good~ The breakfast provides the challah milk juice~ The omelette is great~ There is hot water Coffee machine There are a lot of takeaways The store can help you! Every time I must order noodles and sweet and sour pork. Hahahaha

GGuest UserThe location is close to the main area of hongdae, but away from all the traffic. The building is clearly labeled so it's not hard to find. The host was very nice and went over all the details of the hostel upon arrival. The rooms are simple and clean. This is a good place to stay and I would stay here again.

GGuest UserThe location is quite good. It's not far from two subway stations. There are only stairs. The neighborhood downstairs is very lively, so you have to close the windows when sleeping at night. Toilets and showers are shared and everyone is required to maintain hygiene.
