Quite uncomfortable experience, even though the location was strategic. I booked the hotel because it was chosen as TripPlus, in fact it didnt worth the title and money. 1. Smoking. I could smell someone smoking when I walked along the hotel corridor, everytime I walked from the lift back to the room. Also, one of our pillows had strong smell of cigarette smoke too. 2. Attitude. The nightime hotel receptionist's attitude was rude. I was asking her few questions about the laundry and ironing. She just answered "wo bu zhi dao", she didn't even try to find answer or search for it. 3. Laundry. Another reason I picked this hotel was because there is a laundry room. But it didn't mention on trip.com that the laundry wasn't free of charge. I've been staying in many different hotels in China, and this is the first time I had to pay for the laundry fees. One more thing, it was not paid to the hotel official bank account, I transferred the money to the hotel receptionist's private wechat account in order to exchange for the laundry coins. I dont think this is standard.Also, I have no choice but to use this dirty, nearly broken steam iron to press my graduation gown, and I'm really unhappy about it. Kuddos to House Keeping Ah Yi. LIHE Hotel is for budget-conscious travelers seeking accommodation in Shanghai. The nearest subway Xujiahui is quite far about 900 meter from exit2. There is a underground walk way to station, but no escalator or lift if you have big luhgage. I couldnt sleep well in the room that I booked as it has very strong smoking smell

Not satisfied with cleaning room service otherwise everything is great

Firstly, you need to work hard if you arrive with luggages by metro, because the nearest metro Exit 2 is only have going down Escalator, but going up by stairs only. Secondly, it is on high trafic roads and its noisy all night when sleeping. Seem the window in our room also can't be shut up enough due to defective. We did not take breakfast because they only have A, B or C set menu but there are lots of foods nearby, so its not an inconvenience. Shower is good. Location is good for visiting near by sights, such as Zikawei Library, St Ignatius Cathedral, Wukang Building. IMO, its much better to stay at nearby Jianguo Hotel if the room rate is not much different even though we have not ever stayed at Jianguo Hotel.

Walking distance to famous Xuhui tourist spot, Family Mart also nearby. Convenient place to stay.

Clean and comfortable room! Spacious. Good location: close to food spots and easy access to bus stop to nearby hospital. Would recommend.

The location is good, there are many restaurants around the area, the metro stop is close by when you arrive you may be confused because there are about 20 or so exits and some of the exits don't have an esklators , there are 3 lines that converg at the metro stop, even the locals get confused which way to exit, the rooms are clean, the staff is very curtious and very helpful, most of them don't speak English, I recommend you use a translator app, that helps out tremendously. Breakfast is sufficient, it is a mix of toast and mini croissants butter strawberry jelly and poached eggs and bacon and a piece of fruit with coffee or orange juice,or Chinese breakfast consisting of rice small salad with soup or porage Chinese boiled eggs etc. It is a minimalist breakfast, it is good and will keep you full till lunch.

Decent room. Hotel floors are stained. 2 water bottles free of charge is nice. Room with no window is not worth it as the AC doesnt really refresh the room

3 am and people playing loud music, walking down the hallways, arguing out loud and laughing like it was noon, hotel didn't do anything not to talk about dirty sheets, broken tiles on the bathrooms floor, etc. Think twice before getting a room 凌晨 3 点，人们大声播放音乐，走在走廊上，大声争吵，笑得像中午一样，酒店没有做任何事情不谈论脏床单，浴室地板上的碎瓷砖等。在开房前三思而后行

Comfortable and friendly. I like to stay with family

The Hotel is located in a very nice area, near great restaurants Street and metro Station. Neighbourhood is very nice and near the metro city square. The bed was good. Bathroom could be cleaner.

The cleanliness is great and the breakfast servings are decent and nice.

No food avialabe from the hotel, if able to state clearly from the MRT exit will be better, as the N0. 1 exit is only stairs really not convenient for the luggage passenger
