Highly recommend this homestay! As soon as you enter the door, you are attracted by its unique style, both modern and comfortable, without losing the quaint charm. The beds are soft and the facilities are all available. The landlord is even more intimate and thoughtful, caring from check-in to departure. Being in it, as if away from the world, enjoying a pleasant time, cost-effective, definitely worth coming again! In addition, the hotel parking lot parks about ten cars. The hotel is about 15 minutes drive from Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is about 50 minutes drive from Lijiang Airport.

During my trip to Tibet, I booked a room at Jingcheng Hotel online. After arriving at the hotel, the parking lot was wide, clean and tidy. The front desk service was warm and led us to see the room. The room was clean and odorless, the windows were bright and clean, and it was quiet and suitable for rest. What impressed me most was that I could see the snow scene of Yulong Snow Mountain in the parking lot in the evening. In the evening, the clouds and mist were scattered, the mountains and rocks, and the snow was lying in it. The sunset was like blood, and the snow was like the red glow of the mountains. The fairy would come to the end?

AAi WeiHighly recommended this homestay. The room is tastefully designed , spacious and comfortable. It even has a smart toilet. Felt like home away from home. The owner, wife and their son are all very helpful, helping us arrange our trip, transportation etc. They will make sure that you got a good deal and give good advice on planning our trip. It is also at a very convenient location to visit other attraction areas, shops and restaurants. We extended another day after a five night stay because we love the place too much and we wanted to have a relaxing day just to fully enjoy the place. The owner upgraded us to an even bigger room with a view to the temple at Guishan park. The owner also picked us up from the Dukezong Ancient town when we arrived and got up early to send us to the train station when we checked out. Best homestay we had this far. 非常推荐这个客棧.老板和家人都非常親切,给予我们的旅程很好的建议和幫助. 房间很舒适宽敞, 还有智能厕所. 老板除了在我们低达时在古鎮附近接我们,还在我们退房后特意早起送我们去火车站. 客棧也很方便, 附近有便利店,商店和不錯的餐厅,也很方便去附近的景点.房间和房的廊庁也可以看见大佛寺.

MMajabyMy stay in Shangri-La was truly memorable, thanks to the incredible hospitality of the hotel. Upon arriving at the train station, I couldn’t get a taxi, so I sent a quick message to the hotel via WeChat. To my surprise and relief, the staff immediately offered to come pick me up. It was a short ride, but during the drive, they shared interesting insights about the area, setting the tone for what would be a warm and personal stay.
The hotel itself felt cozy and welcoming, with two dogs and a cat adding to the homely charm. They had my room ready early, so I could check in and rest right away. The room was spacious, fully equipped, and thoughtfully prepared for the cold weather—it had a large dehumidifier and central floor heating, which made it incredibly comfortable during the chilly days.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Shika Snow Mountain, and from the property, I could catch glimpses of the snowy peaks, open grasslands, farms, and plantations. It was a peaceful and scenic spot—an ideal base for exploring the area.
What stood out most was the attentiveness of the staff. They were always just a message away, responding promptly to every request. As a first-time visitor to Shangri-La, I appreciated the wealth of local recommendations they provided—from attractions to hidden spots worth visiting.
One night, after a long day out, I asked for a simple meal in the room, and they delivered hot fried rice from the kitchen right on time. On my final morning, I had an early departure, and despite the hour, the staff woke up and personally drove me to the train station at 6:30 a.m. Their warmth and dedication left a lasting impression.
The hotel also offers traditional ******* clothing that guests can try on for photos—complete with the option to pose with a goat! Although it was too cold during my stay to enjoy the outdoor swing or take many photos outside, the setting was undeniably beautiful.
As we drove away on my last day, the view of flat grasslands with horses and cows grazing under the open sky was the perfect farewell. It was a calm, heartwarming experience—one I’ll remember fondly.

The hotel concept is like farm stay, we have many activities to do such as feeding animals here (sheeps, deers, donkey, horse and dogs)

4. Even though the far from city area, some restaurant in meituan app still allow to send the food to us with RMB 40 + delivery, that is good for us

GGuest UserIt's perfect for a relaxing vacation. The manor is in a large grassland. The breakfast is rich and unique. Zhuoma, who received us, is also enthusiastic and patient! There are also 3 cute dogs, who are as enthusiastic as three children. I lie on the bed to watch the sunrise early in the morning and drink tea and rest in the warm room at night. It's really extremely comfortable and interesting. After staying in the city for a long time, it's really comfortable to live in the mountains when I have time!

GGuest UserFeifan Hotel is conveniently located in Shangri La Old Town (Dukezong) and is fully accessible by car/taxi, which can drop you off right in front of the hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated, paying homage to the town's Tibetan's roots, which is what makes the hotel very charming to me. The room itself is very clean comfortable to stay in, the amenities and kits provided are more than plentiful. The floors in front of the bathroom are also heated, which is very surprising (I wasn't expecting that). The loveliest aspect of my stay would have to be the kind hotel staff who were very helpful and welcoming to us starting from our arrival (the cups of warm tea was very relieving during the cold night). A couple of hotel staff members can converse in English, which was very helpful for us as we are foreign tourists. I appreciated the conversations I had with a staff member during breakfast about the various foods that was on offer. I also appreciated the little gift that was given to us when we checked out as the hotel staff seemed to notice that I did enjoyed several cups of butter tea during my breakfast and the help with arranging a car to transport us to the train station. Overall, I am very impressed with our stay here and would not hesitate at all to recommend anyone to stay here. It is worth it!

In my hotel package, they also provides free experience on traditional clothes trying and phototaking, buttered tea making, and oxygen bar. Special thanks to the hotel staff 和华 with her warm hearted services on arranging free pick-up from /drop-off to train station, one-day tour around 那帕海 and sharing her own stories as a 纳西族 mum.

From the moments we reached Shangri-la by train, driver was waiting for us…fetch us to the hotel with the Defendar. The car was very very clean.
All the facilities in the hotel was excellent!
The architecture of the hotel is tibetian style.

The view from the hotel can see the songtsam temple.
High tea was provided, the egg tart taste delicious even it is winter.
The breakfast had varities of food.
The hotel included ticket to songtsam temple, even provided a free guide to explain while visiting the monastery.
The shampoo and body lotion in the room was nice to used, especially in winter season. The skin feel very dry. (Hope that hotel would sell it online)

Even the hotel is big, they provide buggy car so you not need to walk a lot.

AAbigail WebbGreat stay! Stayed for one night. Clean accommodations, friendly staff. Easy check-in. It’s away from the city center which makes it very quiet and beautiful stay. Just be aware you will need to get a taxi/didi to get to and from here (can add to the cost). My only negative thing is the hot spring mentioned in the description at the time we stayed was dirty. Lots of algae and slime. But beautiful view from the roof!
