I had a bunk in the dorm. The mattress was really comfortable, and had a heating pad. The girls who shared the room were friendly and considerate, which was a bonus. The host was helpful with booking transportation, and had a wechat social group for the visitors. Laundry is available. I would definitely recommend for anyone open to the hostel experience.

The location is very convenient and nice, close to the Ancient City, touristic sites and bus stop. The female room was clean with lots of space for bags.
Theres restaurants nearby with different chinese food, breakfast and cheap meals.
The bathroom is outside in a corridor, in winter it may be a bit cold. It would be better to have paper closer to the toilet and not only outside.
The staff was helpful and would arrange group activities for those interested . I recommend and would come back.

Nice hostel not far from north gate of Old town.
From railway station can arrive by bus number 1 for 2yuan.

I highly recommend staying here, it exceeded all my expectations! The rooms were spotless, with clean beds and plenty of space. They provide towels, toothbrushes, and bottled water. The owner puts so much thought into the little details, making the hostel feel cozy and welcoming. For girls, it's a dream! The bathroom is stocked with essentials, and there's even a vanity mirror in the common area, perfect for doing your makeup comfortably. The owner is super helpful and friendly, and they can also help you arrange tours. Plus, you can rent an e-bike or e-car directly from them. If you're in Shangri-La, don't hesitate to stay here!

The hostel isn't worth your money. It is way too cold in the hostel. The shared area and the bathrooms were freezing, literally. In the morning, team members got into the room and started having a VERY loud conversation and I found it extremely rude. Don't make the mistake of going there

Chinese hostels seem to have very little to no heating during winter. So using a pool table while freezing your ass off is not that appealing. The rest was super good though!

The hostel is really well located near the old town (not far from the square where the daily dance happens) and near the train station. Despite the cold weather the rooms are warm with heating and electric blankets. The owner is a real sweetheart, very kind and patient. I had a problem with a scenic area and he did all he could to help find a solution. He can also help you arrange tours. This is a great place to stay while you're in Shangri-La
