Really nice hotel. Definitely live up to Shangrila reputation. The ambiance is very upscale, and the staff are super nice (except for one guy waitstaff in Anie's restaurant, whose answer to anything we asked was "don't have", while the items will materialized in seconds when we ask the very nice manager. Btw, the item in question was a fork. What restaurant does not have a fork??. I digress here.
The room is large, and amenities are first class.
Swimming pool, oxygen room, and the gym are in great condition. Definitely will stay here again if we ever in this area in the future.

Hotel is located not far from train station, approximately 15min drive away. We love that there’s pick up and drop off service by the hotel. Walking distance to local shopping street 步行街. Staff are helpful and responsive to our request 👍🏻

Room is in great condition with great view, location is also excellent, however what really shines through is their unparalled hospitality and services, special shout out to 和华 at reception desk whom went the extra mile to take care of our last min day trip planning and arranging of driver, subsequently follow up closely through ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Wonderful resort in Shangrila. Location is slightly away from the main spots but cabs are easily available. We got an upgraded room with a wonderful view. Since we are vegetarian, the hotel made special noodles for us for breakfast and gave us complimentary mushroom cookies. All in all a superb stay. Highly recommended.

Hotel is located around 10 minutes walk from the old town, service is impeccable as it is part of the Shangrila brand. Room was very comfortable.

The hotel is located 1 km from the ancient town and is a 10-15 minute drive to the train station.
The room was comfortable, and the water pressure and heater worked perfectly.
The Wi-Fi was very stable as well. (For foreigners, do bear in mind, if you connect to hotel wifi, you would need to connect to VPN in order to use WhatsApp, IG or Youtube)
This is a 9-year-old property, so there are some flaws that can be improved, but that is understandable.
My only feedback is about the F&B restaurant; they only have one all-day dining option. Breakfast was alright, with more of a local selection.
I stayed for two nights. On the first day, there was staff available to help me and serve my cafe latte order. However, on the second day, I did not see any staff on standby, so I had to make my own cafe latte (I had to froth the milk), which I found awkward.
I wish the staff were more well trained, but I understand it is low season and the hotel probably hired part-timers for service.
The best highlight of my stay was meeting a lady named Rose He, who is part of the guest services team (i think). She made recommendations on where to go and even found us a local driver to take us around. She was extremely kind and polite. We exchanged WeChat information, and she texted me when the weather turned cold or rainy. She also helped us to arrange complimentary transportation to the train station. It felt personalized. Shangri-La, if you are reading this, I believe she deserves a token of appreciation. She is the true star and a great example of “hospitality.”
Overall, we were happy with our stay. Thank you.

Very cool to stay at Shangrila in Shangri-La🤩 very nice welcome ceremony at the reception area. Also it was my birthday so the hotel gave me a cake for free.
