Hotels in Tiger Leaping Gorge, Shangri-La

After repeated research, I chose this hotel to complete the Tiger Leaping Gorge hiking trip. The hotel has many advantages, such as being able to directly see the canyon and Jinsha River from the room, and it is also very close to the ladder down to Tiger Leaping Gorge, so you can go down to the bottom of the valley very early. There are very few people in the morning during the off-season, so the experience is very good. I am very grateful to the boss for taking the time to send us to the hiking spot when he is not busy, and also picking us up at Teacher Zhang's Inn. We can experience very thoughtful service. The room is also very comfortable, and it can also be controlled by smart voice, so you can get a good rest when you are tired from hiking. The breakfast in the morning is rich, and the rice noodles taste good. Later, I ate rice noodles again in the evening. I hope that Yunbo Jinsha Hotel can become a ”famous” waypoint in the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area in the future, and more people can come to experience it.

This is really the best hotel experience. Not only is the hotel environment good, but there is also the view of Tiger Leaping Gorge outside the window. When I entered the room, I felt very comfortable and clean. The towels and toiletries were complete and not of poor quality. During the May Day peak period, the room rate was very affordable. There is a terrace outside where you can drink some of the hotel's coffee, which tastes really good. There are also drinks. The hotel also provides lunch and dinner, which tastes really good and is relatively affordable. The dishes are large. Three people had three dishes and we didn't finish them. I really recommend it. The hotel service is also super good. Everything is responded to and implemented. It is just a little bit inside the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area, which is also very convenient. I feel that the unpleasantness encountered during the trip has disappeared because of the hotel. I feel uncomfortable if it doesn't make money. Come and try it if you come to travel. You won't be disappointed.

I stayed here for the first night of my 3 day trek across the Tiger Leaping Gorge. This lodge was amazing, the service was incredibly helpful and made my planned trip so much more convenient. The place I booked was huge (individual building) with a courtyard, balcony and inside there was a spacious lounging area as well. There were also some aunties dancing at night which was really charming. Breakfast was a healthy set meal. Most of all I was so grateful for their service, making my planned trek a lot easier. They picked us up at the attraction ticket center, dropped us off at the start of the hike (Naxi Guesthouse) and drove our luggage to their lodge. When we checked out they also helped us with bringing our luggage to our next lodging (Tibet Guesthouse). This saved so much trouble from trying to figure out where to hold our luggage. Logistics-- They are located down the corner from Teahorse Guesthouse (where you can grab a meal) so it was our first night of the trek. Then you continue the next day on the trek path-- 1-2hrs to Halfway (guesthouse/restaurant/cafe) and then continue the rest of the journey to the end of the trek (following signs pointing to Tinas Guesthouse for general direction). 3 days was perfect to take in all the sights at a more leisurely pace.

By chance, I booked this homestay. I will never regret it after experiencing it. The ingredients for the meals are very fresh and are all grown by my family. I really like it for urban cattle and horses. The boss is a family of four. We arrived at the place at almost ten o'clock in the evening. The boss was very considerate and made hot black tea for us, because black tea does not affect sleep. A hearty breakfast was also prepared in the morning, and it was also delivered to the Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area. During the chat, I learned that the boss's family of four, except for the boss's wife, all have their own pets. The boss has a big camel, hahahaha, and three cats. The free-range Manman is the smartest. Everyone remembers to bring cat strips for it. The reason why this homestay is really worth coming to is that it is an enviable life for me. A family, three meals a day, four seasons, three cats, two dogs and a camel, the family is doing what they like, and it is mutual respect among everyone in the family. People who work hard will not be bad, I won't say much about the environmental sanitation, these are all there, so I strongly recommend this homestay, it is worth experiencing 😁😁😁.

The room is relatively simple, but the scenery is superb. The altitude is 3,100 meters. It takes half an hour to climb the mountain, and the relative drop is 1,000 meters. If you have never been to the plateau, you should be prepared. The way up the mountain is difficult, the road is narrow and steep, and there are many bends. Experienced drivers also recommend going up the mountain during the day.

Great place to stay if you're going to the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic spot and/or heading up to the trail. Very friendly staff will arrange transfers to and from various points on the trail, and south to Lijiang or north to Shangri-La. Luggage storage, washing machine.

Teacher Yang’s Inn is so great to stay in! Our family planned to go hiking on the Tiger Leaping Gorge High Road the next day. We saw on the map that this B&B was relatively close to Tiger Leaping Gorge, so we made the decision. It's easy to park when you arrive and the yard is very spacious. The room was very clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Because it was the off-season, Teacher Yang upgraded our room for free. Early the next morning, breakfast was prepared for us. We liked the white porridge they cooked very much. Because it took a long time to cook, it was very fragrant. The restaurant environment was also very exquisite. In short, I really recommend it!
