The room was large and had a great view—it was an ocean view room—and the food was excellent. There was even a bathtub in the room 🛁. I originally wanted to rent an electric bike, but the Gogo app isn't available on Chinese phones. I think they should offer a cash payment option. That would be more user-friendly.

I have completed a self-driving tour in Japan with the Sanbaibing Hotel. The hotel I chose today is a hot spring resort hotel with dinner and breakfast. The price is not cheap. The room is a sea view room with a nice view and a large room. Although the hotel is quite old, it is still clean and tidy. The buffet food in the evening is of good variety, taste and ingredients. The price is worth it. There are almost no restaurants around the hotel, so it is best to book dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast is also very rich. When traveling in Japan, my favorite thing is the hotel breakfast. The ingredients are really fresh and delicious. The hotel also has a large bath for hot spring bathing, especially the open-air hot spring. If it snows in winter, it is very artistic.

This was my second stay at this hot spring resort hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, the service was still excellent. The neon lights at night create a beautiful night view. It was raining a bit on the day we checked in, so we only had a short soak in the outdoor hot spring.

The view is stunning, but taking the bus to Oura Station means you have to drag your suitcases up a bit, or catch the 6:00 PM shuttle bus from Shirahama Station. It's worth checking the shuttle bus schedule beforehand; the last one seems to be around 5:00 PM. The bathroom facilities are a bit dated, but the other services are good. With fewer Chinese tourists, it's mostly Japanese families with children. The indoor pool is a bit small, mostly occupied by the children. The breakfast was okay and filling, a typical hotel buffet, but they do offer mentaiko and tuna. On the way back, the hotel booked a taxi to the airport, which took 10 minutes. It's a bit far from Shirarahama, Senjojiki, and Sandanbeki, so it's best to get a timetable and have change ready if you're taking the bus.

This is a well-established hot spring hotel in a small town. There are no major issues with it. It's been around for decades and is well-maintained. The only downside is that it's located on a hillside, making it a little inconvenient to get in and out, and the bed is too hard.
