The shower had a separate wet and dry area. The room had a large floor-to-ceiling window with a view.

The inn is located at the foot of the viewing platform in the Xijiang Thousand Households Miao Village. lt takes about one minut to walk to the inn. Each guest room is equipped with a full-house intelligent system and offers a panoramic view of Xijiang. There is also a leisure tea bar, reading area, and a public viewing pavilion. This ia an inn with a story.Note:li is more convenient to enter the inn form the west gate of the scenic area.
"The hotel's location is superb, just two floors below the observation deck. The night view is spectacular, so you don't have to jostle with crowds on the deck for photos. I set an alarm for 6:30 AM and captured stunning pictures of the village shrouded in morning mist from my balcony, then went back to sleep until after 10 AM. It was a fantastic experience.
Plus, the owner upgraded our room from the second-floor 'Thousand Paper Cranes' to a similarly located room on the third floor, making the view even better.
Private cars aren't allowed in the scenic area; you have to take a shuttle bus to the observation deck. The owner met us there early and helped with our luggage. The hotel also provided complimentary welcome fruit, which was a thoughtful touch.
After check-in, they gave us a detailed overview of the village's layout, including dining areas and popular photo spots.
I recommend bringing your own towels."

"The hotel was well-maintained, clean and tidy. Although the facilities were older models, they were well-maintained, indicating excellent room service and management. However, the restaurant was a huge disappointment. Breakfast stopped at 9:30 AM, which was too early. When I arrived at 9:00 AM, all the dishes were empty. I had no idea what was on the empty plates. I only managed to grab some steamed cake, steamed dumplings, and a small piece of greens. Luckily, there was a noodle station where I could get some. There were many other guests waiting with empty plates, and in the end, I only got two plates of stir-fried greens. It was the first time I'd ever experienced not getting enough to eat at a hotel."

"I didn't take pictures. It was already 1.2 in the early morning. When I arrived, no one at the front desk shouted 2 voices. The front desk lady came.
When checking in, I also talked to other staff at the same time and said that the car waited and asked the staff to help stop because the parking lot was too narrow for the guests to stop. Then it seemed to be finished, but the front desk was calling again. The room card and ID card were gone. I immediately gave it to me, and then I didn’t tell the number of floors. I didn’t explain the time of the breakfast. (Caused me to miss breakfast the next morning! Or call the front desk in the morning to ask the end time result 9: 30 is over. It's a bit early). After the front desk returned to God, I gave the room card and ID card, and then we went up with our luggage. Summary: The whole process at the front desk was not very enthusiastic and too flat. I didn't explain the specific time node to the guests, which caused me to miss breakfast! Then the room faces the street, and the hum of the car passing by can still be heard when the window is closed. Although the sound does not affect sleep. It is relatively not so quiet.
That's it, I hope the hotel will strengthen management."
In 2016, poet Meng Yifei set his creative roots in Guizhou and founded the high-end resort brand "Heart of the Mountains", with "poetry + design" as its soul. Dedicated to crafting poetic dwellings, the brand has now unfolded 4 secluded havens along the eastern Guizhou route.
Heart of the Mountains · Xijiang – the third masterpiece of the brand – embodies the essence of "cliff dwelling". After seven years of searching for the perfect site, it finally settled on a hilltop in Baibi Village, adjacent to Leigong Mountain National Forest Park. Facing Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village across the mountains, this retreat is just a 15-minute drive from Guizhou’s iconic scenic spot, offering a peaceful haven away from the hustle while embracing the grandeur of nature.
Every guest room serves as a frame for nature’s beauty. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows invite the outdoors in: lush green mountains in spring, a sea of twinkling lights over the Miao Village in summer, and layered terraced fields in autumn. Each season unfolds its unique charm, and pleasant surprises await around every corner.
The cliffside viewing platform stands as a "blank space" for dialogue with heaven and earth. From its boundless perspective, you can feast your eyes on emerald forests, scattered Miao villages, and stacked terraces. Occasionally, rolling seas of clouds surge forward, brushing past your shoulders – a moment that blurs the line between the mortal world and a poetic wonderland.
"First of all, I want to praise the chef’s cooking. It’s delicious and feels like home! The room is relatively large and not cramped! There is also the service. The housekeeper is very attentive and responsive to everything. You can see the beautiful sea of clouds from the large terrace outside. I want to stay here forever! There is also a wall of books that I particularly like. It’s a pity that I can’t read them all because I have to go back and move bricks🙈"
