Although you can walk quite easily to this hotel in about 20 minutes, the road layout is confusing, so I’d recommend using the free shuttle bus. This is a good hotel that is also used by airline cabin crew so it has to maintain certain standards.
The breakfast is good value for money, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable.
Nearby there are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance too.

This is probably the review that you are looking for;
After reading a lot of reviews here, i was skeptical but went for it anyways because of its airport shuttle. Although i wished that they extend their shuttle bus services throughout the night because my flight got delayed.
The service was alright overall. I think I know who is the ‘angry red man’ in one of the negative reviews written and at first, he did seem to be an impatient person but i realised that after communicating with a lot of fast speaking foreigners, he was accustomed to their pace of talking and dont worry, he would adjust to yours.
The hotel was filled with foreigners, mainly chinese (based on the lobby) and majority were men, calling on speaker and smoking. It was kinda refreshing given that I’ve been in Japan for 3 months and this is the first time i saw such behaviour in public. But tbh, the environment was inviting and you feel less pressured to societal norms because of them lol.
The hotel lobby for my floor did smell like cigarettes but it was faint. I guess someone smoked awhile ago. The soundproofing was average. I could only hear someone when I was close to my room door.
The store at the lobby had crazy pricing so i would advice to bring your own snacks from the airport before coming. The koi pond outside was cute tho!
The cleanliness was average. It was clean but i did found a strand of hair on the wall in the toilet, but other than that (i checked everything) it was acceptably clean (but do use the slippers). My two main issues with the room are the bed and lighting. The bed was hard. It made me think that this is how it would feel like sleeping on the tatami mat LOL but if you’re staying for a night, it was bearable. The pillows were also so hard. The lighting on the other hand was limited. I had to do my make up near the door because that was the only bright and white light area. Even the toilet was kinda dimmed since it didnt have ceiling lights.
Overall; its an OK hotel option to stay for the night to catch another flight the next day. I have never been to a motel but I would compare it to one, an OK motel lol. I hope I covered most of what people tend to look for :) Also! Theres a stamp at the lobby for travellers who likes to collect stamps in Japan.

Convenient to get to from the airport, with free shuttle available. Room and bath was spacious, though I was at one end of a very long corridor so it seemed like forever to get to after a loongg day walking everywhere else. Great overall stay even if the walls were not very sound proof. I had good neighbours though , and everyone seemed to understand the ‘assignment’ under the circumstances. Staff was friendly and helpful too. Super easy check out too.
Lawson’s on the first floor was convenient too for last minute buys and food for sahur.:)
Also make time to go to Naritasan Omotesando and the Shinshoji temple to savour in the local produce and enjoy the surrounding park with sprinklings of cherry and plum blossoms (i think) everywhere this time of the year. Free shuttle to Narita station and Aeon Mall too! Super convenient!

This is the fifth hotel I've stayed in Tokyo. It's larger than the hotels in the urban area and is the most luxurious one I've stayed in at the same price range in Tokyo. It has a TV in the bathtub and yukata (Japanese bathrobes), but the overall decoration is a bit outdated. The hotel has sufficient facilities, including a hot spring and a gym. However, the transportation is not very convenient. It feels like everywhere is far away. Although the hotel has a shuttle bus, it only runs at specific times. According to the map, there are other buses I can choose from, around 30 mins per one. I arrived quite late and it cost me 3000 Japanese yen to take a taxi. So, the next day, I booked a hotel in the urban area of Narita. Since the Tokyo subway is very convenient, I'd rather stay in a smaller hotel.

This place is very close to Narita Airport and is clean and simple and the price is good. I would stay here again if I have a late incoming flight or an early flight the next morning.
The room I stayed in was pretty small, but perfectly ok for just one person. The breakfast was quite good - lots of different things to choose from. The staff were very polite and friendly.
There is a convenient store next to the check-in on the first floor, and it has just about everything you could need. Which was great because I came unprepared for the 2-prong-only plug style of Japan (my laptop is a 3-prong style). It also has some basic food, even warm cooked chicken which I enjoyed after my arrival at night.
The place provides night clothes, slippers, toothpaste & toothbrush, and a few other items for free.
There is an airport shuttle that goes to and from the airport at regular time intervals. But when I arrived at the airport I was a little disappointed that it was hard to find the information of where to go and when the buses come - I hoped Trip.com would provide that info, or at least a link to the hotel’s main website, but instead I had to dig for that myself, and eventually found it on their website (I don’t remember the details anymore though).

Very prompt service by all staffs frm this hotel.
Beyond my expectations, I didn't expect such wonderful service, but i was very pleased despite a very shirt stay as i had a 7am flight next morning.
This hotel takes all pride in caring for their client/hotel guests.
Every little thing was put into detail ; the complimentary shuttle bus svc to/from airport terminals & the shuttle svc to/from AEON mall was well worth it, a great deal of price for what client paid for the room rate.
I must so compliment Marroad Htl is spotlessly clean.
Will highly recommend those for looking into free airport shuttle and with morning flight to catch.
Will definitely rely on this hotel for my future Narita transit/ stopovers . 10 stars if i could. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We stayed for one night as we were taking the coach to Fuji-san the next morning. The hotel room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable. We didn’t dine in as there were ample restaurants 10 mins walk away. The complimentary shuttle buses are a plus point to stay here. We took it to explore Narita town nearby

Nice place to stay if you are taking flight from/to Narita. We arrived late at night, and had a great time spending one day in Narita too. Few places are within walking distance from the hotel.
The room is clean, fit for two and the yukata they provided is so comfy.
Took video of the room and no picture, unfortunately we cannot upload video here.

The location was the main reason for our choice, it was very close to the airport and Aeon mall. The room was very clean and the 2 piece pajamas was just nice (some hotels provide long robes only). There were lots of free shuttles to/from the airport, very convenient

The bedroom is like a little coffin and so is the bathroom. Very dated but it’s an airport hotel so not expecting much. The bed and pillows were comfy and the aircon worked well but I would bring ear plugs. The sound from other rooms is not bad but if you’re a light sleeper, you may hear it. Cleanliness wasn great - there was rubbish bits (old plastic from bottle caps) on the floor and hair in different spots in the bathroom.
The restaurant at level 17 had a surprisingly nice beef hotpot (though pricey at 6500Yen), but the sake was nice. Staff at the restaurant were 10/10. The shuttle bus to the airport runs once or twice an hour but if you miss it (like me), an Uber can cost 2000Yen between the airport and hotel.
It did feel like there was an earthquake at 3am as the bed started rocking - initially I thought it was a train but I’m pretty sure it was a mini quake.
Overall, it’s nice enough for a 12 hour layover. I chose not to take the shuttle to the mall as was a little tired but there is that option if you prefer it.

JJYXQThe hotel is located in Narita Omotesando, about 15 minutes away from Narita Airport, which is very convenient. There are also restaurants that close late nearby, so you don't have to worry about not being able to eat even if you don't book dinner at the hotel. The overall decoration style of the hotel is Japanese style, and the decoration details are only average. The lights in the corridor outside the guest room are dim, which is not my feeling. In addition, the service is professional and enthusiastic, and the hygiene is good. Finally, a warm reminder: It seems that due to the centenary event of the shrine near Omotesando, the road outside the hotel will be subject to traffic control for one month (10:00 am-4:00 pm every day).
ИИринаI was looking for an inexpensive hotel near the Narita airport to unwind after a Japan trip and be close to the airport. The room I stayed in was clean, had all the necessary toiletries and amenities. I even received a foot mask as a gift, which was a nice thing to receive after a lot of walking. Overall, the hotel fit well to my purposes and honestly I would stay here for longer to closer explore Narita.
I want to express my gratitude to the receptionist who called my room the minute after I missed my shuttle bus to the airport. I somehow managed to miss all my alarm clocks. He also helped me get a taxi and acted professional despite my lateness. Without you, I'd simply miss my flight with a layover.
GGuest UserClose to a bunch of shops, so great for any last day healthcare/makeup shopping. Metro st is also pretty close, but about an hour away from Tokyo, so might not be ideal for daily trips. They provide free transfer to the airport, but only until 11 AM, so be mindful of that.
GGuest UserGreat location, within walking distance to train station, restaurants, mall, large supermarkets, convenience stores and Naritasan temples. Comfortable beds, room was good size for a Japanese hotel. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.
狮狮城安妮Free shuttle to the airport is good but no departure and pick up for terminal 3 though. Rooms are alright in size but a bit dated not much amenities inside .
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit old, located on Omotesando, with old shops and restaurants on both sides. It takes 1 minute to walk to the famous eel shop, and about 15 minutes to walk to the JR station.
It is directly opposite Shinshoji Temple, and you can hear the sound of bells in the morning.
The room is an authentic old-fashioned Japanese room with a strong Japanese lifestyle. There will be staff to help you make the bed at night. The only inconvenience is that the room is boring and you have to go to their public bath to wash.
If you want to understand the traditional Japanese hotel, you can try it.
GGuest UserThis was a bit of a surprise. I never expected Narita to be such a beautiful little town certainly worth spending a day or even two exploring this area. The hotel was okay. It’s a little bit hard to find as there are a couple of hotels with a similar name, so make sure you get the name correct before you enter it into Google Maps And even when it’s in Google Maps the walking directions tend to be a little bit off so just make sure you get a good idea of where you are heading before you start walking. Hotel was fine. Rooms were okay. Did smell of smoke even though it was a non-smoking roombut it was for one night and it served its purpose.
GGuest UserConvenient, Clean and Peaceful. Location was great because it was right there in the airport but finding the actual place is another story. Maps took me in circles. Save yourself time and trouble by asking an information desk associate for directions. Aside from location, great for a short term stay. I’m anemic so I was cold throughout the night. I asked for another blanket but they couldn’t provide me with one. If you are 5”6 or taller, chances are you’ll be too big for the comforter.
JJoanneThis is our go to hotel for late night arrivals and stocking up before heading to the snow. Stayed here for more than 10 years and it’s very dated but a clean, spacious and central hotel. JR an keisei a couple of mins walk. Aeon mall 1km walk. Kids playground down the road as well as a beautiful temple and gardens.
Narita area has every thing you need so a basic affordable hotel with good accom, heating and very good location is enough.
Beds are old but comfy enough for the price we paid. Didn’t use the bar or restaurant but everything looks ok. So many restaurants and bars close by to explore. There are vending machines on every floor, and some floors have ice machines and a microwave.
We booked a twin which was 22m2 ( I think). Enough room for my partner in one bed and my 6 year old and I to share one of the twin beds. Rooms are quite spacious but you need to book the right room or you could be in a tiny single space
YYun SugawaraHotel near to Shopping Mall and have Free Shuttle Bus very comfortable to Airport every 1 hour. I like its quiet and flowers front yard very beautiful. Amenities have things to customers in their needs and enough. I just take rest and relax a very very warm room although cold outside. All is just reasonable
