The room looks the same as shown in the picture below. However, there was some dust noticed around the handwashing area and on the bed. Otherwise, it’s in good condition.

Quite spacious for Singapore's budget hotel. Just 50SGD per night. Clean room, friendly staff, not too far from Geylang Serai and Arab Street but the surrounding area is not suitable for family with kids.

So happy with this booking! The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff are amazing. It’s conveniently located near a bus station, with bike rental and parking available. There are also plenty of nearby food stalls to enjoy!

🛏️ Hotel 81｜Budget Stay That Does the Job If you’re just looking for a place to sleep in Singapore that won’t burn a hole in your wallet, Hotel 81 is your best bet. It was the cheapest option I could find, and honestly, it gets the job done. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the basics I needed. Big plus: my room had a window, which made a huge difference in making the space feel less claustrophobic. Don’t expect luxury — this is purely a functional stay. It’s not a place for lounging or extended stays, but if you just need a safe, air-conditioned room to crash in after a full day out, Hotel 81 delivers. Would definitely consider staying again for a short stopover.

Location is good, near the main road of Geylang. Though transport system is not a lot at this area. A lot of ******** nearby but for the price point, can’t complain much. Not a lot of toiletries in the room. There is potable tap water but no hand soap. The room is small and functional. Clean and updated. Beds are on the smaller side but all in all, a good budget hotel.

Close to subway. A lot of local restaurants. Convenient to airport.

The location is strategic as we can go to any area of Singapore easily. It is located near Bus stops. However, the.hotel will be much more appreciated if they take more efforts to keep the cleanliness. Btw, they allow us to check-in in advance, which is very nice and beyond our expectations. The staffs are really friendly and helpful.

I like the hotel because the room, toilet & bedsheets are clean and water pressure from the shower is strong. I was pleasantly surprised to find filtered water on tap when most hotels give water in plastic bottles. Will stay again when I visit Singapore.

Staff were friendly and professional. The room is as advertised, common areas and mini fridge were clean but shower drain had a musky smell. Netflix and Youtube both worked fine on the TV. Good location for food and late night supper, I enjoyed my stay and won't hesitate to book again!

I like it. It is very convenient to leave your luggage. It is close to the bus station and not far to walk. The staff are very helpful.

I was not allowed to check in with my digital identity card. Staff demanded physical card to be present and denied me from checking in.

The room was ok, budget friendly, near to bus stations, there are lots of eateries around as well. But amenities like body wash, slippers weren’t provided. So if you plan to come here bring your own things. Overall it was okay
