It’s an amazing experience staying in MACq, especially if you rent an electric car, their valet parking will help you to recharge your car when you finish your day, which makes you really hustle free time handle the parking and refilling gasoline. Also their restaurant is beautiful too, great food and wine with nice hospitality😊 Should be the second-to-none choice in Hobart!

The hotel is good. Complimentary valet parking service is convenient. The hotel is stylish and spacious. Love watching the seaview every morning when we got up. However, the twin beds are too small for adults. It’s easy to fall onto the ground. And while we appreciate the environmental friendly attitude of the hotel, it’s better to provide one toothbrush for each traveller at least. I love the bathrobe. Very nice and wanna buy it as souvenir.

The room was spacious and the view was extraordinary. We got a game kit in the wardrobe which was quite impressive. The staffs were nice and helpful. Lost importantly, we got some bottle of milk for free in the fridge as well as the free laundry service.

Terrible, terrible!! Don't stay at this hotel. The attention to detail is so poor! The service is practically nonexistent. 1️⃣ I stayed in two hotels during my trip to Tasmania: The Tasman and then Macq 01. Comparing them, Macq 01 was truly terrible... They even charged for mineral water, which cost 4 bucks per bottle. Cleanliness was also mediocre. If you stay consecutive nights, the bathrooms are barely cleaned. 2️⃣ If you're not used to sleeping on sandwich sheets, I wouldn't recommend Macq 01. The interlayer wasn't clean. Tasman noticed the rubber bands tied around the corners of the quilt and attentively replaced it with a normal quilt.
