The hotel is beautifully designed and well maintained, with a pleasant and elegant atmosphere throughout. Cleanliness was also at a very high standard, both in the room and in the common areas. A special highlight was the fine dining restaurant located within the hotel. The food, presentation, service, and overall dining experience were truly excellent and added something very special to our stay. Overall, the hotel offers a great combination of comfort, style, convenience, and quality. I would gladly stay here again."

"Absolutely hated my stay here. I know it’s only a 3 star but that doesn’t mean certain standards shouldn’t be adhered to! I booked a superior room but it was filthy. The mini fridge was gungy and the drain hole clogged with black gunk. The curtains had bugs hiding in them and the wallpaper peeling and dated. The carpet was that bad I wore my shoes to walk round the room and the shower, taps and basin were in dire need of a good bleach and scrub. Soap scum and hairs, no plug, the shower head grimy, There was also a terrible stench if sewage in the room I presumed was coming from a drain in the bathroom. I didn’t use the shower, it was too dirty. The hotel is in dire need of a good clean and update. The pool itself looked nice but the outer areas I was looking forward to enjoying again were dirty with broken furniture . It basically looked like a 1970s hostel. There were silverfish in the room . And other bugs which were horrible ! Windows that didn’t shut or were cracked. Only one lift worked. Pretty bad show. That said, the staff were nice enough. Not their fault the management is so bad. Domestic staff nice enough too but they obviously don’t clean the taps and shower head etc. The area is not great as there is nothing there apart from a Lidl a ten minute walk away. The road is constantly noisy too. If you want to go anywhere you will need a taxi. Shame as if it was given a good overhaul it could be so much better. I have to return in a few weeks but will certainly avoid this place. The photos on the web are obviously from a long time ago."
Vitosha Park Hotel - Free Indoor Pool & Parking
"The location of the hotel is near by the Vitosha park. You can reach it by the airport with the underground and then 1km walk. Downtown is 4 underground stops away. The hotel is quite big, with gymn, sauna, 2 restaurants, a recreational area. Rooms are large enough. However, the cleaning might be improved (carpeting also in the bathroom and not really clean...). I was in a group and each had some minor issues to be asked for (blanket, kettle, tea in the room yes but not coffee...). Breakfast is ok but again, a toaster might have been appreciated and it is a minor stuff. It could be a good choice in case you have to work at the Technical University, just close by."

"This hotel has a wonderful breakfast spread. We enjoyed the breakfast and looked forward to it every morning. There is a wide choice of selection and everything was delicious. The room was clean and spacious, though the furnishings are dated. Reception is very friendly and helpful. Not the best location in Sofia, but convenient for trams. About 10 minutes walk to Sofia centre or Sofia Mall. 5 minutes walk to the Ladies Market. Not many shops or restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel"

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS NIGHTMARE OF A "HOTEL". You will regret going there as they do not live up to promises of refunding you despite several promises to do so. Further there are bugs in the room and it is very unhealthy to stay there for just one night. Not healthy room for people who have difficulties breathing normally. NEVER GO THERE it's and not Clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Breakfast was good in terms of spread but the room needs more tables - or separate the bigger tables as it was hard to find seating during the weekend at 8.30am… location was great next to the metro and an easy walk to Vitosha Boulevard."

"The staff ladies are very attentive and patient. The bedsheets are clean, the towels too, and they smell good. There is hot water 24/7. I appreciate if you can replace the old, lumpy mattress. But it was not so bed after all. It is close enough to the city center, and far enough to sleep quietly at night. I did not use the restaurant/breakfast service so I have no review on that."

"Really nice hotel and breakfast options. Stayed 2 nights from 23 to 25 June on a business trip. Would have given 'excellent' rating but my room at 6th floor was modern, clean, spacious and good working area but spoilt by the glass french widow/door to the terrace not having a blackout curtain or blind so the sunlight would completely flood the room as early as just after 5:00am forcing me to wake up earlier than intended. I mentioned this to the nice lady at reception the morning after my first night but she did not seem to take me seriously and suggested that I use a sleep mask instead when going to bed and I asked her if they had any for me and she replied "No...""
