Hotels in Sofia City Center, Sofia

A compact hotel, centrally located and very convenient for transport. It has a bit of a Japanese hotel vibe. However, the space was incredibly cramped; there was nowhere to put my groceries or luggage! On the bright side, it was quite clean, and the color scheme and aesthetics were excellent. You could say it's small but perfectly formed, boasting a strong industrial design aesthetic. The overall ambiance had a distinct former Soviet bloc feel.

Excellent location for those just passing through; a single night's stay might not be enough to give a comprehensive review, but the hotel is very large, renovated and adapted to modern standards, especially considering its communist-era origins. Everything was perfect.

Positives: Great location. Minutes to Serdica, Lion’s Bridge metro stations and easy access to public buses, shops and eateries. Room was spacious and clean. Negatives: the door to enter the room is hard to open from inside- u need to step into the bathroom in order for the door to open wide. The area outside the room is not soundproof so the noise when people talk (in my case, kids talking and crying) is very loud and clearly heard.

Overall cleanliness of the whole property is ok as the cleaner did her best from what I saw, but unluckily my bed was not as clean as I expected. Hope the color on my bed cover and pillow was stain not dirt (see pictures). Also when I wanted to extend my stay for the next day and came down to receptionist, he said he had finished his shift and asked me to come back in the morning, while his shift was actually not finished yet (there is a written information what time reception is supposed to close). Other than those two issues, it was a great stay, kitchen is spacious with stoves, sink, fridge, table and chairs, living room.

Hotel is next to metro 2 central train station and is quite good if you can navigate the metro, line The breakfast is the same everyday but staff are good and complimentary coffee in reception. On my visit very quiet this time of year in Sofia but I enjoyed Sofia No restaurant nearby have to go into city . There are shops nearby about 1/2 km away but it’s ok and safe Night time few doggy characters around this part of town but avoid them 24 hr reception was helpful and warm Just if you come in late grab some food for your room as nothing to eat around

Breakfast was all right, the room was relatively large. Unfortunately, all rooms are rough to the street that is a lot driven. In the night it was too loud to sleep with open window. The location is good, about 15 minutes walk to Serdica

The hotel is actually 🈶**. So the parking fee is expensive. About RMB 100 per night. The hotel is cost-effective, so we can actually ignore the old facilities. When checking in, the front desk gave me the second floor. I said I want a higher floor. There should be a manager next to me and said that you have to make a request. I said I have a request. I showed them the request I wrote. Because of the word count requirement, I wrote it in Chinese on Ctrip. The other party immediately said that we can't understand. I immediately responded, don't you have a translator? Then reluctantly gave me the sixth floor. 👌. When checking out, I especially want to praise the front desk lady with long brown hair. The service attitude is very good. I want to print the car insurance policy. She helped me one by one.

The boss is super diligent and does hygiene three times a day. Very clean and tidy, the traffic is very convenient, the subway to the bus station entrance, walk six minutes to the hotel, bus 80 meters to the hotel, suitable for people with a lot of luggage, no need to go at all, the bus from the hotel to the airport, you can 213, 305 to 84, take bus 2 Lev, subway 1.6 Lev. Go to all scenic spots, you can walk, no need to take a car, it is half an hour away, there is a market next to the scenic spot, selling vegetables and fruits is much cheaper than supermarkets. I love Trip.com , the convenient homestay is suitable for poor travel, in addition to living, the average day spent 50 yuan a day abroad, it is not too proud. You can cook, there are many big supermarkets in the scenic area.

The hotel is located in the center of Sofia, walking to all the main attractions, shopping, eating and taxi is very convenient, many souvenir shops, the only thing that remains unchanged remember to bring cash

the room was satisfactory at a whole, esp with the little balcony attached for a small laundry zone, electric water kettle for making hot tea, a small refrigerator for use, a big plastic bucket in bathroom and hair dryer provided. The lightings are bright enough. TV also offered a few channels. if a microwave or a small oven could be provided by the hotel for customers reheating their takeaway food or bread, alongside with a mini size folderable tea table, they would definitely earn an extra score by all customers.
