We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Madrona in Healdsburg. The new chef has elevated what was already an excellent restaurant. The restored mansion provides a beautiful setting. We dined indoors but the outdoor patio is perfect if the weather is nice. We started with a pea salad that was the best I have had, ever! Next, the chicken paillard which was also fabulous. Both the wine list and entre prices are modest for the quality. My new favorite restaurant in Healdsburg!

Very beautiful grounds, from the garden to the pool and fire pit areas. Though we did not take advantage of the fitness center on site it was very nice inside. Our room was incredible with the heated floors in the bathroom and loved the original 1800s painted tile around the fireplace.

We stayed at the Madrona the night of our wedding and couldn’t have dreamt up a better experience. Greeted with a whisky cocktail for my husband, and a mocktail for myself (6 months pregnant!) from the moment we were arrived the experience was nothing short of perfection. We were upgraded to the most incredible room with such stunning views, and the staff was all so kind and hospitable. After breakfast the next morning we wandered the gardens and just soaked in the beauty, celebrating our first day as husband and wife. Our stay at the Madrona was the perfect ending to our perfect day, and was a total dream. We will be back!

I stayed at The Madrona with my 2 adult daughters to celebrate my birthday . We stayed in a bungalow and lived the room . We had a fireplace, mini bar and beautiful bathroom . Few places include milk for coffee in the morning ! It’s a great touch . I also love the Flamingo Estate bath products !! Every employee took such great care of us . They provide transportation to town which is great for late dinners . The town of Healdsburg is just 5 minutes away, but at the hotel you feel like you are in the middle of the country ! I look forward to visiting when the weather is warmer and I can enjoy the pool and bikes. Winter was fun to visit though as we felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. I can’t wait to return !

Tucked away out of town, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a tranquil environment. New owners did a nice job of keeping some of the older charm but upgrading where needed. Restaurant interior has also been changed and enjoyed their menu and service.

Having previously visited the Madonna as a couple and falling in love with it, we returned as a family of 4. Service, food, property were all impeccable. The only thing, albeit only a little, left to be desired was the room for 4 was slightly smaller than the room we had as a couple. Stayed at the carriage house both times. Would love to stay at the main house next time!

Wonderful property and rooms. The bar and lobby are beautiful, especially on rainy days. When staying here you feel like part of Healdsburg history with mature trees and a view of the valley. It’s a nice retreat from downtown Healdsburg.

This has to be my all time favourite hotel. It is simply stunning and staff offer a faultless service. I couldn’t recommend it more and hope to return. If you are visiting Healdsburg I would 100% recommend staying here. Thank you for having us

Martina had been highly recommended by a family member, longtime San Francisco resident who obviously hadn’t been there in several years. So We changed reservation from Farmhouse Inn to stay at Madrona. I will say Evan was very understanding… we arrived for 3 night stay. Had booked most expensive suite/ bungalow to have privacy and quiet. However upon arrival we were blasted with an auditory assault of rap/hip/hip/techno type music that’s piped through grounds and main bldg. not a relaxing arrival. Questioned staff. Told that’s how it is although genre changes. Needless to say we only stayed one night and were able to secure lovely quiet luxurious stay at Farmhouse inn for 2 nights. Much more relaxing, calm, expert care and subtly upscale Better value for a huge splurge.
