Hotel Corallo Sorrento

This hotel is a hidden gem!! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location and view were perfect for sunsets at the pool. Our room was charming, clean, and comfortable. The hotel arranged our pick up at the airport and also to Sorrento. I would stay here again.

The staff who make or break any hotel are the ones behind the front desk. From the moment we arrived to our departure front of house were top class. So why have I rated a four not five. We arrived on the eve of a wedding celebration following a long train and transfer journey. We were not made aware of the wedding being held on the large patio area below our balcony which overlooked the Gulf of Napoli. The celebrations went on until the very early hours of the following day. We have no issue at all with this, but it would have been prudent to be advised of the upcoming party. However, what really finalised our dismay was the rearranging of chairs/tables at 0630 the following morning above our room in the restaurant area. We made the management team aware of our complaint and they did offer us another room on the other side of the hotel. We accepted and moved. That was the only negative of our stay, the shuttle bus into Sorrento is fantastic and front of house is first class.

Front desk, bar, and housekeeping staff were excellent and friendly. However, Wait staff give good service, but were a little hit or miss on Friendliness. Our view was absolutely amazing. Food was really good, Surprisingly good. I highly recommend this hotel for any Sorrento visit.

Excellent experience. The room was larger and more beautiful than expected. The view was phenomenal. Breakfast on the terrace was great. The infinity pool was wonderful. There was a very accommodating staff. We would come back to this hotel without hesitation. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This is our second year staying at Hotel Corallo. We absolutely love it! Not only is it a beautiful property, but it’s perfectly appointed and has the friendliest staff. Very convenient to the center of Sorrento. You can either walk or take a €20 taxi. The rooms are gorgeous! We always stay in 327 - it’s spacious and has a beautiful ocean view. The property itself has a lovely lobby bar, outdoor/indoor restaurant, as well as a beautiful terrace with a pool. Comes in handy on a hot summer day! Did I say how much we love this hotel?! It’s becoming an annual girls trip for us! Grazie!

The Hotel Corallo staff helped to make this a trip of a lifetime. We had a group of 19 booked at this hotel. We were all more than pleased with our accommodations. Upon arriving, a wedding ceremony was underway and the staff assigned all of our rooms seamlessly. My husband and I got to our room and realized it wasn't the room we paid for. I contacted the front desk and spoke to Paclo who jumped into action. He reviewed my reservation and put me in touch with the hotel manager who assigned us a new room. I was very pleased with the way they handled the situation. The bartenders, Antonio, Giovanni, and Francesco were attentive and friendly. We ate dinner at both the Patio Bar and the Ristorante and were very prepared with our food. The coastal views, the accommodations and the staff made this visit one we will never forget. We would not hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity arose.

I would give the manager and staff a 5 star review as they were all very friendly, accommodating and professional. I would rate the hotel itself 3.5 stars. It does have lovely views from outdoor restaurant and from seaside facing room. We are currently on an Italian trip with our two sons, ages 11 and 13. We have traveled internationally with them a lot, ever since they were babies so we have grown very particular in what we look for in accommodations. We have always planned our own trips, except for this one occasion, we turned the reins over to a travel agent. In hindsight, we will not be doing this again, not because she did anything wrong. She is wonderful but at the end of the day, you know your travel comforts better than anyone. We very clear from the get-go that we either needed interconnecting rooms or rooms that were very close to each other. There was a misunderstanding on multiple levels, but at the end of the day, we blame ourselves for not making sure that this is a hotel that could guarantee this for us. After a very long day, exhausting travel, we checked into our hotel late at night. Not only were our rooms, not interconnected, but they were on opposite sides of the hotel and on different floors. We were informed that there are no interconnecting rooms in this hotel, so please make note of this if you are traveling with children and this is some thing that might be important to you. The manager was very accommodating, and ensured us that the next morning, we would have rooms closer together, which he did follow through on. My oldest son ended up staying in one of the rooms which was located about 10 feet from reception. I received text messages from him at 3:30 and 4 o’clock in the morning, stating that he was struggling to sleep because the staff members were being so loud at the front desk, or possibly in the smaller office located directly across from his room. He ended up finally falling asleep at around 5 AM. Meanwhile, in our room, on the other side of the hotel, which we were told was a suite, was a very tiny room. There was a small twin bed in there for my 11 year old and two beds put together for my husband and I. My son’s bed was comfortable, however, ours was as hard as a rock and the pillows had no cushion whatsoever. My son also said his bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. There was a blow dryer in the room, but it burnt out after 10 seconds. No iron and no steamer in the room, but I did not request one. Our room was extremely quiet throughout the night, but at around 6 AM, was quite loud with the hotel and staff up. Our air conditioner also clicked on and off the majority that night, which Made it even more difficult to sleep. Shower had hot water and great pressure. We did decide to only spend one night at the hotel, so beyond this first day, we have no review to give. We have moved on a much more comfortable Airbnb in Positano. I should mention that the because the hotel is not close to the center

We chose this hotel because it was on the water and had beautiful views. It was not in the center of town but they run a shuttle to town which is very convenient. The hotel is beautiful and so relaxing- away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. The rooms are on the small side but we didn’t spend much time in them so that didn’t matter to us. The hotel has many places to sit outside and enjoy a cocktail including a lovely pool area. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with hot and cold choices. We enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel is beautiful, situated on the cliff top with a wonderful view of the Bay of Naples. The furnishings are bright and colourful, the floors white marble and the hotel is very clean. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were delightful. The staff at reception were very helpful organising tours. Kadja in particular was lovely and gave excellent advice about where to go in Naples.
