They have totally upgraded their rooms. They were clean, bathroom especially was clean. I liked the little desk they had there. They didn’t have any light bulbs in the light and it’s looks dubious from outside but it was quiet. Mini fridge, microwave and safe. They might want to invest in some new new ac units, it sound like ice pouring when it cut down. My husband is 6’4 and I’m 5’11 but no fighting over the bed! But was big and roomy and super comfortable!

We stayed here last month while visiting family in the area. Normally we’d stay with them, but with Covid 19 we felt more comfortable staying in a large hotel chain which I’d been hearing had enhanced cleaning and sanitizing. When we pulled up, we noticed a sign on the exterior door to the lobby that stated something to the effect of “masks required in all common areas of the hotel. Any violations could result in eviction”. Good. This is what we were looking for. It went downhill from there. After checking in, we went up to our room. Elevator door opens and there stands a group of people, none of them wearing masks. Our room appeared clean enough. There was a bit of an odor which I attributed to the cleaning/sanitizing. When I went back out to the car there was another person standing in the lobby on the phone with no mask on and the guy at the desk wasn’t doing anything about it. So much for enforcement of the rules. The next day I showered and noticed very little shampoo in the provided shampoo tube. I think that the cleaning crew didn’t replace all of the toiletries from the last guest. Gross. I asked the front desk about it and they assured me more cleaning was going on but could not give me specifics. We also found trash (photos attached) from a previous guest in two spots in the room so the thorough cleaning is bunk. The cleaning crew were also standing around the hallways talking to each other (with guests walking by!) without masks on. Loud guests in the hallways until late at night as well. Overall just a terrible experience. Would not recommend or stay here again and I’ve had numerous great experiences with the Springhill Suites chain and Marriott properties in general.

We had a large family event and needed a hotel close to the different venues. This hotel checked all the boxes. It was under renovation. Never heard any of it. Upon walking in, we were greeted by a very friendly and professional hostess. All the staff were polite, kind, friendly, and acknowledged anyone that walked by. The room was immense for a 2 Queen bed suite. Ample room if you needed a desk for business. More amenities were offered here than a higher priced hotel in another city of a different chain. Make- up remover sheets! There were ample snacks and light, packaged meals to purchase in the lobby at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was typical of any included breakfast in a hotel. More was offered here than the pricier hotel mentioned previously and it was a separate charge. Construction will be done in June 2024. If in the area, use this hotel!

The hotel is incredibly clean all over, but I have to give a shout out to two employees that impacted my stay. I witnessed Kim de-escalate a situation with a guest in such a professional manner that it should be applauded. After operating our company business out of their meeting room, I encountered a man willing to work the night shift. His name is Raymone, he had kind eyes and a level of hospitality that should be recognized. The rooms are of good size, the beds are comfortable, and the overall experience at this hotel should be acknowledged. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work.
