Booking hotels is really cheap right now! I asked the lady at the front desk, and she said it's off-season, so the value for money is incredible!!! The service was warm and welcoming; she proactively informed me about check-in details and even offered local travel tips, which was a really thoughtful touch. Coming to stay at this time of year offers fantastic value, even cheaper than my last visit. Plus, food deliveries are brought by a cute little robot! My only regret is not being able to find the hotel garden. Oh well, the important thing about staying at a hotel is the emotional value, right?

I went there because it was ranked first on the luxury list, but the bathroom didn't have a ventilator, the room window was too small, it was stuffy without the air conditioner, and it was very noisy when it was turned on. At 7 o'clock in the morning, there were children shouting, running and playing in the corridor. The sound insulation of the room was too poor, and the door slammed loudly, so I couldn't rest well at all. The breakfast was even more exaggerated. It was said to end at 10:30, but there were almost no dishes, cold dishes, hot dishes and fruits, and they were not replenished. The waiters were busy collecting the meals. In the kitchen, there were people who could make noodles except for the noodle shop, and no one else was there. I could only eat noodles and bread. I have stayed in so many five-star hotels, but this is the first time I have seen this situation. I think I have stayed in many five-star hotels, and I have always been reminded to pick up the dishes and collect the meals at the end point. This is the first time I have encountered a situation where there is nothing to eat. Overall, the service and price do not match. I will not stay there again and I don't recommend it.

The second time I went there, Shuangquan Hotel was far better than Xiangyang Qiqu Hotel in terms of environment, facilities and service. It was a completely different experience. The service in all aspects was very considerate, and the hotel was very beautiful. There were moss landscapes and green plants everywhere, which was full of creativity. When I was dining in the hotel lobby, the front desk lady also brought mineral water! ! The small details were all in place! ! It was much more comfortable than the hotel I stayed in Xiangyang. I regretted my last trip. I still want to stay in this hotel three or four times! ! But there are some small suggestions. Can I add a small bed to the courtyard pool room? The small bed added later was really uncomfortable to sleep on. It was not comfortable at all. Sleeping was the most important thing. It should be improved. The bed in the parent-child twin room was too small. It was too easy to fall off when sleeping with one big and one small. It was not easy to merge them. One should be larger and one smaller, which would be more reasonable! !

MMolin 2025.08.11
This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images! We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it! The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch. Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute. To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats. What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

Our stay at the Shangri-La Hotel Wuhan was fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, the room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – I slept like a baby and woke up feeling refreshed. A special thanks to the lovely lady at the front desk; her service was outstanding. She even gave us complimentary breakfast during check-in and later checked in with us to ensure we were enjoying our stay. This kind of thoughtful service really made us feel welcome. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Wuhan!

Our family traveled and stayed at R&F Wanda Realm Hotel in Jingzhou. The hotel is not far from the ancient city and is convenient for sightseeing. Miss Zhao, who received us at the front desk, was very enthusiastic. Seeing that we had a lot of luggage (there was also a wheelchair, and my 90-year-old mother was accompanying us), she asked the concierge to help deliver the luggage to the room. Thank you! The double room we booked only had 2 breakfasts, so we asked Miss Zhao to help give one to the elderly. Miss Zhao helped apply for it quickly. Thank you Miss Zhao! The hotel room was clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and good service. Great! Recommend this hotel!

Wuhan's food scene is incredibly diverse and friendly to all palates, offering everything from savory and umami to spicy and tangy flavors. My top three favorites are glutinous rice wine soup, lotus root soup, and braised black duck. The fried skewers I had were coated in a sauce; aside from the dipping sauce, they were prepared similarly to Suzhou-style skewers, with everything wrapped together. I kept buying and drinking fermented glutinous rice on the street, leaving no room for coffee. The only coffee I did try was from a place called “Chong,” and their two special concoctions were quite good. For accommodation, I chose the Xiangyang Tou Marriott for its better views. The occupancy rate was quite good on weekdays, and I saw many Japanese business travelers. Check-in was handled at the 62nd-floor lounge, and the staff were very friendly. The Ferris wheel view room on the first night offered a great vista (though the housekeeping was a bit subpar). On the second night, I was upgraded to a junior suite; the layout was decent, and the service was 90% satisfactory. Both the breakfast and executive lounge food were commendable, offering all the essentials. While eating, I found myself missing the lounge food from Tianjin's Chestnut. The cocktails at the lounge are a must-try – they're very well-made. Chatting with the hotel staff, I also mentioned my anticipation for Chestnut in early next year. It has the potential to be Wuhan's number one hotel, as I'm just not keen on the Fairmont's style. Wuhan's friendliness isn't put on; it's that familiar feeling you get as soon as you step off the train. What attracts me are the old, charming streets and the stylish riverside architecture. It's a perfect place for introverts to wander and simply zone out...

I always like staying at InterContinental hotels, and this time I was not disappointed. Before I checked in, the housekeeper Vicky took the initiative to contact me and also pushed the recommended documents for local food, drink and entertainment. During the stay, the service team was very professional and skilled, full of small details, and I was surprised and moved~ The hotel also has a very amazing buffet dinner to choose from, and the overall stay experience is very satisfactory. In the future, I will still choose ”InterContinental” first.

I usually like to save the best for last when writing, but for reviews, I'll cut straight to the chase. We booked an Executive Suite primarily for the Executive Lounge access, but the lounge experience was so disappointing that we checked out after just one night. The room itself, however, was great. Executive Lounge Happy Hour: We arrived at six, and it was already packed. There was barely any food left. Since it was the Winter Solstice on Saturday, they had dumplings. No desserts, and the cold selection just had sandwiches and sushi. Some dishes were empty. We found a spot, and just as we were finishing up, another guest placed a dirty plate next to us. The whole lounge was so noisy; we left after less than half an hour. Compared to executive lounges at other hotels, this one was truly subpar. The last three pictures show some of the dishes from the executive lounge. Facilities: The Executive Suite on the 19th floor was very spacious at 98 square meters, with two bathrooms. The living room had a sofa and a round table, and the bedroom was also large. The bathroom was equipped with mouthwash, and the living room had a capsule coffee machine, all very good. The view outside was also excellent. Ambiance: The lobby was spacious and featured some old photos of Wuhan. Service: The service was very good. The front desk staff specifically put the explanation of the executive floor benefits into an envelope for us. Breakfast: The Executive Lounge doesn't offer breakfast, so we had to go to the restaurant on the second floor. However, the breakfast selection was quite extensive. The freshly made Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) was delicious. There were plenty of choices for desserts, fruits, drinks, and main courses, and enough seating at the tables. However, the hotel was very slow to refund the deposit. We checked out on Saturday morning around 10 AM, but didn't receive the deposit until Sunday morning around 9 AM. Overall, it's still a pretty good hotel; I'm just quite disappointed with the Executive Lounge. If I book again, I'll just opt for a standard room.

GGuest UserMaybe I started to pay attention to Dongcheng's hotels from now on. This is the hotel I stayed in. I felt that the layout was very reasonable. Watching TV, working and eating are arranged separately. The hotel laundry, gym and restaurant are well-equipped and the food is not perfunctory. The best thing is that the location is very convenient, close to the pier and backed by the pedestrian street. The service is also obviously well-trained. On the night of the 24th, I was extremely tired because of the long delay. The front desk receptionist was very considerate and arranged a comfortable room for rest.

MM299050****## Review **Ambiance:** Excellent. **Service:** Outstanding! Absolutely impeccable, everyone was incredibly thoughtful. **Cleanliness:** Spotless. **Facilities:** The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable! We booked both the 180-degree and 270-degree executive rooms, and both were fantastic. The river view was lovely, and the panoramic views were superb. The shower had great water pressure. **Executive Lounge Privileges:** Definitely worth it. The desserts in the lounge were exquisite and delicious, and the evening drinks were also very good. **Breakfast:** Quite ordinary; I wouldn't recommend paying extra for it. **Lunch:** We tried the Hong Kong-style buffet at Cui Xiang, which was pretty good and offered great value for money. We also ordered their拌面 (mixed noodles) with fried egg and rice wine in our room, and it was unexpectedly delicious. **Location:** Very convenient. Li Huangpo Road is right downstairs, and it's about a 1.2 km walk to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, so a taxi ride is very cheap. Getting to Yellow Crane Tower, Gude Temple, or the Provincial Museum takes about 25 minutes by taxi, costing around 16 RMB. Overall, highly recommended! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I revisit Wuhan!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Somerset Future Center Wuhan and was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my experience. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, providing a true sense of comfort and relaxation. One of the standout features was how quiet the hotel was despite being in a perfect location. It is close to key attractions, dining, shopping and cinema. It offered the ideal balance of convenience and tranquility. All of the staffs are very friendly: from reception, housekeeping, gym and dining. Our special requests are fulfilled, we can borrow wheelchair to assist my mom to travel around, and we are extremely grateful. During the stay, I had the privilege to know some wonderful staffs such as Daisy, Kylie and Amy from the restaurant. They were absolutely wonderful, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit all tastes. The hot dry noodle and beef noodle were very tasty, top quality. This hotel has exceeded all my expectations. We would surely book this hotel again when returning to Wuhan. Until then, see you and thanks for the wonderful experience!

MM508644****Seriously impressed with the lobby tea bar! Not only do they offer a great selection of hot teas, tea bags, and filtered water for free all day, but the cups are spotless and readily available. They even thoughtfully provide little snacks. It's the perfect spot to relax and grab a warm drink to warm up and unwind before or after catching a high-speed train. The staff are incredibly attentive, always refilling everything promptly, so it's never out of stock. The attention to detail is truly top-notch.

KkillymikeQuanji Hotel, Xiangyang review I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings. First impressions - Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking. - Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess. Service - Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient. - Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.

OOoiksWill I stay here again? Absolutely yes! It's flawless and by far the best hotel i have stayed in China and in my life. Firstly, when i stepped in, the front desk lady (小慧)was so friendly and patient to bribg me through the check in process smoothly and professionally. She patiently explained all the details and services available such as free meal services delivered by robot to room, free airport shuttle, breakfast timing and free laundry services. Secondly, when stepped into the room, the room was so modern, sparkling clean and hi-tech. There was no foul smeel and smoking smell. Fruits (banana and madarain oranges) and some snacks were provided for free. The curtain can be open or close eith a press of the button beside the bed. The warm pressure and temperature are just right and functioning well almost instantaneously. The toilet bowl is also high tech and equipped with sensor and remote control that can heat up your cold butt in cold winter and wash your butt after your business. Thirdly, there's a cute little robot that can accurately deliver meals to your roon! So cool! Lastly, the breakfast buffet was sumptuous and amazing. Also the best i have had staying in China. Many varieties from small xakes, pastries, dim sum, vegetables, noodles, rice, salad, tea leaves, coffee, fruits, yogurt, juices, porridge and etc. The dining ambience is also relaxing and nice although it will be perfect if smoking is disallowed there. Finally i also wish to extend my thank to the other frontdesk ladies who were on duty onthe night of 2 Jan 2024 and 3 Jan morning as they were also super friendly, polite and attended to my queries well. I offered a small tips of 10 yuan but they turned down as they insisted they are not supposed to accept tips. I am sad but still they are doing their job professionally and i am impressed. ❤️💜💖💙💛💚🤍 Truely a 5/5 stars hotel. Thank you.

EEthan Matthew HuntI came from Canada due to my business trip, this is absolutely A Hidden Gem That Outshines Even the Hilton Below! I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Wuhan Hanyang Beike Hotel—this place is a masterpiece of modern hospitality. If you’re looking for luxury without breaking the bank, look no further. Let’s start with the view: from my room, I had a breathtaking panorama of the Yangtze River, with a front-row seat to Wuhan’s cyberpunk-style skyline. The glowing bridges—including the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, Yangsigang Bridge, and Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge—light up the night like something out of a sci-fi movie. To top it off, you can even spot the historic Yellow Crane Tower, blending the ancient with the ultramodern in a way that’s visually stunning and emotionally moving. The interior design of the hotel is unbelievably sleek and luxurious—we’re talking five-star finishes, modern lighting, spotless wood flooring, elegant furniture, and a spa-like bathroom that feels straight out of a high-end design magazine. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and say, “Wow,” the moment you walk in. I’ve stayed at the Hilton, located just downstairs, and while it’s fine, Beike Hotel blows it out of the water in terms of value, design, and overall experience. You’re getting a top-tier, modern boutique stay at a fraction of the cost. The staff, especially the warm and professional Ms. Liu, were incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind—service was impeccable. If you’re a traveler who appreciates unique experiences, luxury on a budget, and a fusion of futuristic style with rich cultural heritage, this is THE hotel to book in Wuhan. I can’t recommend it enough. I will definitely return, and when I do, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else.

11881857****The room isn't huge, but the location is excellent, right on Lihuangpi Road. All rooms have balconies, and there's a bar downstairs, making it a great choice for those visiting Wuhan. I'm not sure if it was because of the Halloween rush or something else, but some of the staff seemed a bit unenthusiastic and not very warm. Also, when booking, pay close attention to the breakfast policy: one adult with two children, not two adults with one child.
