I had an early flight the next morning, so I decided to stay directly at the airport hotel. It's located in Terminal 1, and you need to take a shuttle bus to Terminal 2, which runs about every half hour. My room was on the outer side, so I could see planes taking off and landing at the terminal, but the noise was quite tolerable. The overall style is consistent with the brand's chain hotels, the decor is relatively new, and it felt very clean.

The lobby of Ocean Flower Island Europark Hotel is absolutely stunning, truly capturing that European castle vibe – perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. This was my second stay. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they're beautifully decorated and feel really cozy. The four themed room types each have their own unique charm, and there are tons of facilities for families. You'll often catch performances in the lobby, and the breakfast spread offers a great variety. The amenities are comprehensive, and the service is super responsive. A special shout-out to our butler, Xiaoyue! We checked in quite late and didn't get settled until well into the night. Even at that late hour, we had some questions, and she patiently answered every single one. Her help made our trip go so smoothly!

Staying at the Hilton Wenchang this time was an absolute delight! So much emotional value. Many of the hotel's family-friendly activities are free, and childcare isn't expensive. Our butler, Lulu, was incredibly responsive to all our requests. Although the rocket launch we were hoping to see was canceled, we still had a fantastic time overall. This is definitely the top hotel for family trips to Wenchang. **Value for money:** Better than Sanya. **Recommendation:** Fu Ji Wenchang Chicken in Longlou Town. A must-try! **Downsides:** Qishui Bay Beach is public and quite commercialized, with some litter. **Small details:** Surprisingly, the plates used in the breakfast restaurant and executive lounge were plastic, which felt a bit cheap. There are a few minor details in the room that could be improved, like ensuring every window is sparkling clean.

The Novotel Living Singapore Orchard is very new, and the front desk staff were warm and polite, actively greeting guests. They even generously offered alcohol wipes and glasses cleaning wipes. This stay, the front desk upgraded me to a king-size room, which was incredibly spacious. The lighting was cozy, and the carpets and chairs were exceptionally clean. The mattress was comfortable, and the pillows were just right – not too high, not too low – making it easy to fall asleep. While the breakfast selection was a bit limited, it was exquisite and well-balanced nutritionally. They even offered three types of congee at 9 PM, catering to guests' needs. The hotel also has a laundry room, complete with disinfectant for underwear, which shows great thoughtfulness and consideration.

Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive, with a swimming pool and a water park. The kids had a blast, and the staff were very responsible, helping to look after them. If you need to leave for a short time, you can ask the water park staff to watch your children, and they do a great job. However, I couldn't find a self-service laundry area, so if you're staying for an extended period, you'll need to figure out your own laundry. There are very few charging stations; only a few above ground, and the underground parking only has dedicated Tesla chargers. The staff weren't very clear on this; we circled around several times without finding any, and only after asking customer service were we told there weren't any. Later, needing to charge urgently, we had to go to Dajiao Park for a fast charge. The hotel has a restaurant, and the prices are reasonable. You can also go to Changhua Town to eat; there's a small shop there that serves more than just noodles, and their dishes are delicious. The owner is very welcoming, and things aren't expensive. They even have my favorite pea and minced pork noodles. Environment: The environment is great, the scenery is beautiful, and it's very close to the beach, perfect for clamming. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, and trash was promptly removed. The day before, the breakfast had pancakes, and they had made a lot. A guest saw a fly land on them, so the staff threw them all into the trash. The next day, there was a chef making them fresh on the spot, so hygiene is definitely assured. Service: If you need anything, you can contact the front desk, and a service staff member will respond quickly. We brought our child and requested extra blankets and drinking water, which were all delivered for free. There's a third-party photographer, but their skill level is very average. Just take the complimentary photos; don't choose extra photos for fine-tuning, as they look like fake Photoshop jobs. Their skill really isn't good.

Wow, this hotel is right in the city center, steps away from a bustling commercial district. Getting around is super convenient, whether you're heading to Qilou Old Street for some food and exploring, or going to the beach to catch the sunset, a taxi ride is always easy. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer amazing city night views, and the mattress is incredibly soft, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The minibar is well-stocked with drinks and spirits, and the ironing facilities are a thoughtful touch. When checking in with kids, the hotel even proactively provides children's amenities – they really pay attention to the details. Overall, the prime location is a huge plus, making travel, shopping, and finding food completely stress-free. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Haikou! ✨

This is the only five-star hotel near Wuzhishan Rainforest Park, and it's just a 200-meter walk to the park entrance. The hotel has a beautiful setting, nestled in the tropical rainforest. Because it tends to be humid, the staff had already turned on the electric blanket in my room before check-in, which was a very thoughtful touch! The hotel has a Chinese restaurant, and the food was good, just a bit pricey.

Location: The hotel is right in the city center, making it super convenient to get around. Taxis to all the major attractions were less than 20 minutes. Facilities: The facilities are excellent, and the smart toilet was a nice bonus. The bed was very comfortable, and the room layout was well-designed. Cleanliness: The room was spotless, which made for a very comfortable stay. Environment: The environment is fantastic, especially the lobby on the top floor. The views are incredible, offering a panoramic sight of Haikou city – it’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset. This time, I also tried the executive lounge, and the service was extremely attentive. The snacks were delicious, and the cocktails were great too! Service: During this stay, Shirley was incredibly helpful. She gave us excellent recommendations for food and activities, showing great thoughtfulness! The breakfast was also very good, maintaining a high standard. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Haikou!

This hotel is perfectly located! Just a few steps downstairs, you'll find a lively food street, a supermarket, and even a McDonald's. Decided last minute to stay a night in Tianya Town and booked a boat-themed room at Fengbai! The room type was really interesting, truly felt like being in a ship's cabin. ZRS's operations are pretty good; all the facilities are well-equipped, and the hygiene was decent. You need to take a shuttle to get into Tianya Town, and this shuttle is a paid service by the scenic area. The parking lot also charges 40 per night for overnight parking. Overall, though, the B&B was great!

TTeobisataI stayed at Yalong Bay Earthly Paradise Birds Nest Resort in Sanya. The resort is marketed and priced as a luxury property. While the location, room quality, and cleanliness were satisfactory, the service level was severely below what is acceptable for a hotel in this category. This was not an isolated incident but a consistent pattern of operational inefficiency and lack of professionalism. Service Quality and Staff Preparedness Throughout the stay, many staff members appeared very young and inexperienced. While this is not inherently negative, the lack of visible supervision, structured coordination, and professional training was evident. This may partially explain the repeated service failures, but it does not justify them — especially at this price point. A luxury resort must ensure proper training and management oversight. Dinner Experience The restaurant had very few guests, yet the staff forgot to provide basic cutlery (forks and chopsticks). No one monitored the tables, and water was not refilled unless specifically requested. Even fundamental hospitality standards were not met. Breakfast Management Breakfast operations were disorganized. There was a waiting list based on arrival order, yet guests who arrived after us were allowed to enter before us. We were traveling with a small child, which made the delay particularly uncomfortable. As compensation, staff promised to send fruit to our room. The fruit never arrived. Offering apologies without follow-through demonstrates poor internal coordination and lack of accountability. Checkout and Transportation Failures On departure day, we had to request luggage assistance three times before receiving support. We then waited 40 minutes for the shuttle to reception while several buses passed without stopping for us. During this time, we called reception three times without any effective resolution. Because of this disorganization and delay at checkout, I was forced to postpone a lunch meeting in Sanya with a very important guest of mine who was waiting for me. This was a significant professional commitment. A luxury resort’s inefficiency directly impacting a guest’s business obligations is unacceptable. Communication and Safety Concerns No staff members spoke English. For a resort charging international luxury rates, the absence of English-speaking personnel is a serious limitation for foreign guests. Additionally, there was no visible safety guard near the swimming pools, which raises concerns, especially for families with children. Hotel Environment The hotel’s reserved areas were crowded with external tourists mixed among hotel guests, resulting in noise, confusion, and a complete lack of exclusivity. The atmosphere was chaotic rather than relaxing. The resort does not appear structured to accommodate international travelers seeking privacy and refined service standards. Overall Assessment I have stayed in numerous high-end resorts worldwide where service is proactive, coordinated, and client-focused. At this property, service was consistently inadequate and far below the level expected for the rates charged. Summary: Location: good Room: good Cleanliness: good Service: unacceptable For a resort positioned as luxury, this level of service is indefensible. One of the most disappointing high-end hospitality experiences I have experienced.

LLikexinWhat truly touched me during this stay was the personalized, attentive service from our butler, Xiu Lian. She was never intrusive, yet always appeared exactly when needed. Every request was met, and her service genuinely felt like she was 'anticipating my needs' – that sense of being looked after and cared for, just like being home. Thank you, [Name], for giving me such a warm place to land in this unfamiliar city. She wasn't just doing her job; it felt more like she was looking after a friend who had traveled a long way. This perfectly balanced care made my trip exceptionally warm.

Cchara_✨Our family stayed at the InterContinental Haitang Bay during the Chinese New Year, and it truly exceeded our expectations – we all loved it! The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to the duty-free shop, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The roadside stalls offer delicious and sweet small pineapples, mangoes, and durians, which really added to our happiness. The hotel's layout is very well-designed, and the greenery is exceptionally well-maintained. The walk from the lawn path gradually leading to the beach was incredibly scenic and uplifting. The beach itself is quiet, not crowded, and not overly commercialized, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. There's a wide variety of activities at the indoor kids' club and on the outdoor lawn, keeping the children happily entertained. Breakfast offered a great selection and tasted wonderful. We even got to experience snorkeling. We found plenty of joy without even leaving the hotel. Everything was just as I had hoped for; it was a perfect holiday experience and definitely the highlight of our trip! Highly recommend!

CCarrieMy experience during the Spring Festival stay was not good, and I wouldn't recommend it. Putting aside the fact that it was peak season with large crowds (there didn't seem to be long queues at the front desk for check-in, and I believe a big hotel like this should have extensive experience in handling peak seasons), here are my reasons for dissatisfaction: 1. Due to the neighboring Atlantis hotel, the last 100 meters to Shangri-La were always congested. If we had booked other hotels along the road, we wouldn't have been affected. This was my first point of dissatisfaction. 2. The hotel has no EV charging stations, which is very inconvenient if you drive an electric car. 3. The hotel lobby has an uneven design, making it impossible to even introduce food delivery robots. We had to pick up our food from the delivery lockers ourselves. I saw some people on Xiaohongshu mention that they experienced concierge delivery service, but we did not. I asked a bellhop how to get our food delivery, and he didn't mention any delivery service from the hotel, only saying to pick it up from the locker. 4. The overall service attitude of the staff was poor and cold. From the greeters and front desk during check-in to the public area staff and butler, we didn't feel welcomed at all. Even with many tourists during peak season, I personally feel that paying such a high room rate for this kind of service is unreasonable. 5. The hotel facilities are quite old. The walls and waterproofing strips in the shower looked yellowish, the sofa bed was too hard, the inside of the toothbrush cups was dirty, and there were too many steps in the hotel lobby with unclear warning signs. As a family-friendly hotel, it's very unfriendly to children (especially young ones). 6. We pre-checked in around 12 PM, and were told a room was available after 2 PM, but we were still assigned a north-facing room. 7. The greeter at the lobby entrance saw my grandma getting out of the car with a child in her arms and bags, struggling to carry everything, but didn't offer any help. There was no sense of service at all. 8. Apart from a large, useless lawn, the other public area designs were cramped, small-minded, and formulaic. 9. The iron flower and fire dance performances starting at 7:30 PM were also very lackluster, feeling like a mere formality and failing to create any atmosphere. 10. The butler provided almost no convenient services and was very ineffective in answering questions. 11. I booked a room including breakfast for three people. However, on the second morning, we had to leave for Wuzhizhou Island pier at 7:30 AM. To avoid long queues with a child, I discussed with the front desk if we could pack some food to go that morning. The front desk initially seemed hesitant, then said guests were not allowed to pack food, only the butler could. So I contacted the butler to pack breakfast, which was divided into Chinese and Western options, with fixed contents, and it was abysmal. Chinese: one Hainanese mixed noodles, two boiled eggs, one red bean bun, two sausages; Western: two boiled eggs, two sausages, one small bread, two potato pancakes, one fried tomato slice. Is this really the standard for a 198/person breakfast? 12. On this trip, we stayed at two hotels. Shangri-La was almost twice as expensive as another family-friendly hotel in Sanya Bay, but the service was significantly worse. We felt no welcome or respect, and there were very few activities that interested our 1.5-year-old baby.

GGuest UserOn the first day, I added Jill, our butler, on WeChat. Our first room was a bit far from the sea, so I asked the butler, and she immediately helped us switch to a much more comfortable room. All the staff were incredibly enthusiastic, which made us feel great. The next day, when they asked about our needs, I just mentioned wanting two extra bottles of water, and when we returned to the room, there were six! We couldn't even finish them by check-out. The pool had quite a few kids playing in the afternoon, but it was well-managed. Breakfast was decent; there weren't a huge variety of dishes, but the staff managed it very orderly, always leading us to our seats. The public areas weren't large but were very clean and perfect for photos. In the evenings, there was a lively band playing on the lawn. The room balcony was very comfortable, and once the sliding door was closed, the room was super quiet and not noisy at all. Overall, it was a great experience, and my child had a fantastic time. I would definitely choose this place again. Thanks to Butler Jill for her warm service!

GGuest UserBefore booking, I saw a lot of negative reviews on Xiaohongshu, but after arriving, I found it to be pretty good. The room facilities are a bit old, but still acceptable. My kids loved it, especially the heated children's pool. Given the temperatures these past couple of days, a heated pool was essential. My children spent two full days there, splashing around every afternoon. It truly freed up the adults; we just had to lie by the side and keep an eye on them. Now, let's talk about the service. I have to give a shout-out to our butler, Didan. We've been in Sanya for a week, and previous butlers only answered questions and provided things when asked. But Didan was different. Not only was she responsive to every request, but she genuinely put the guests' needs and interests first. She even proactively offered services that I hadn't even thought of myself. Thumbs up! 👍👍👍

Ssalinda1Atlantis Sanya is a highly popular resort hotel, and here's a summary of various reviews: **Pros** * **Rich Facilities**: The hotel boasts extensive entertainment facilities like the Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium, making it ideal for families with children and a perfect spot for a family vacation. The thrilling slides at the waterpark and the clean, well-maintained pools are a highlight, and the underwater scenery at the aquarium is truly stunning. * **Excellent Service**: A huge thank you to the 'Little Octopus' butler service at Atlantis Sanya – it truly exceeded expectations! From proactively contacting us to confirm flight details before check-in to guiding us through the entire process upon arrival, we didn't have to worry about a thing. During our stay, I casually mentioned wanting to know more about the beluga interaction, and the butler immediately compiled the schedule and best viewing spots for me. Every day when we returned to our room, there was a pleasant surprise: a 'goodnight' dessert by the bed and the balcony loungers thoughtfully adjusted. This kind of subtle, attentive service really made our vacation experience exceptional! 💯 * **Beautiful Scenery**: The hotel is nestled along the magnificent South China Sea coastline. Ocean-view rooms offer expansive vistas, and higher-floor rooms provide captivating sea views, offering a visual treat. * **Diverse Dining**: The hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety of options and authentic flavors, receiving many positive reviews from guests. Additionally, the hotel features several specialty restaurants, catering to the diverse culinary preferences of its guests. **Cons** * **Poor Soundproofing**: The soundproofing in the rooms isn't great. Rooms near corridors, elevators, or the waterpark might experience noise from people walking, talking, or the sounds of the amusement facilities. Finally, I'd like to thank the staff at the Aquaventure Waterpark, specifically a shout-out to the amazing Tony! My child lost their glasses in the pool and was very upset. Tony, our 'retrieval hero,' spent ages searching in the water and helped us find them. What incredible service! For anyone visiting, definitely look out for Tony! 👍

GGuest User🌟 Five-star recommendation! Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay + Manmo Photography is absolutely amazing!🌟 For this family trip, we chose the Grand Hyatt Haitang Bay, and I was hooked from the moment we walked in! The hotel lobby faces the ocean directly, with a transparent design complemented by tropical greenery, instantly putting us in vacation mode. The biggest surprise was experiencing the hotel's partner, @Manmo Photography – it truly added the perfect touch to our journey! 📸 The photographer was super professional. They discussed my preferred style beforehand and took us to all the hidden gem photo spots around the hotel: the infinity pool blending with the horizon, the lawn shaded by coconut trees, the swings on the private beach... even our room's balcony yielded Instagram-worthy shots! During the golden hour at 5 PM, the sunset painted the entire beach orange. The silhouettes and waves captured were absolutely stunning, so beautiful that I couldn't bear to delete the raw photos🌅. 🌴 The hotel itself is also impeccable: huge rooms with direct sea views, a kids' pool slide that kept my child entertained endlessly, and the Baoluo noodles at breakfast were a must-have two bowls every day. During the photoshoot, the photographer even thoughtfully helped us plan our route, allowing us to discover the hotel's hidden gems – like the rooftop garden's stargazing bar, which, when lit up at night, feels like falling into the Milky Way✨. Among the photos I received, my favorite is the candid shot of us running on the hotel lawn, with swaying coconut trees and the blue ocean in the background – pure tropical vibes! My friends even asked if I had gone abroad🏝️. In short, if you stay at the Grand Hyatt, you *must* book Manmo Photography! Capturing beautiful memories in photos is truly the right way to vacation. Next time I'm in Sanya, I'll definitely choose this place again! @GrandHyattSanyaHaitangBay @ManmoPhotography ❤️
