GGuest UserOur stay at Bird's Nest Resort was absolutely perfect, exceeding our expectations in every way. The room offered incredible privacy, tucked away in the rainforest. Opening the window revealed lush greenery everywhere, and the atmosphere was quiet and incredibly rejuvenating. The private plunge pool was clean and refreshing, and spending time relaxing there was pure bliss. The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the facilities were comprehensive and worked perfectly. The front desk and housekeeping staff were warm, attentive, and responded quickly, handling everything efficiently. Built into the hillside, the hotel felt like a natural oxygen bar with its fresh air, far from the city's hustle and bustle, creating a wonderful vacation vibe. It's perfect for both couples and those seeking a peaceful retreat. The experience was flawless – I highly recommend it and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!

First and foremost, I absolutely *must* commend our dedicated butler, Gina! Before our arrival, when discussing room preferences, I specifically requested a high-floor, non-smoking room in the West Wing with a lake view. Gina patiently reviewed my booking details and went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests, communicating every step of the way with thoughtful precision.
Throughout our stay, she was incredibly responsive to all our needs, big or small: when we needed an office chair, she arranged for one to be delivered immediately; when there was a drainage issue in the bathroom, she promptly arranged for maintenance; and when the pillows weren't comfortable, she quickly provided suitable buckwheat pillows. She meticulously followed up on daily housekeeping, linen changes, and even helped adjust our room type for an extended stay.
Whenever an issue arose, Gina handled it with humility, proactively apologized, and resolved it promptly. Communication was seamless, and she never tried to deflect. From coordinating our room before check-in to handling various unexpected minor issues during our stay, she was on top of everything, always willing to help. Her professional and attentive service smoothed over many potential headaches.
I am incredibly grateful for Gina's thoughtful assistance throughout our trip. Having such a responsible butler significantly enhanced our holiday experience. My husband even said he'd choose Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel again next time. Firstly, because the pool-view family suite is genuinely superb and spacious enough for a family of four (the only minor drawback was dim lighting for homework, but Gina quickly resolved this by sending a desk lamp). Secondly, because the butler is truly accommodating – on our last day, she even proactively offered a late check-out. I highly recommend asking for Gina if you stay at this hotel!
Additionally, a shout-out to the hotel's shuttle service: it was quick to arrive, helped with luggage, and provided service via WeChat. The pool also hosts bubble parties every Tuesday and Thursday, which the kids absolutely loved. The number of lifeguards at the pool was impressive, with coverage at every corner and angle, and they were all incredibly responsible and attentive – even the waterslide had a dedicated lifeguard, which was very reassuring!
Finally, I have to praise the supermarket located to the right of the hotel lobby. It completely shattered my stereotype that hotel convenience stores are always overpriced. A fragrant coconut was only 10 yuan! Regular coconuts were just 5 yuan! And the fragrant coconuts were incredibly delicious, as were the green mangoes 😋. They even offered delivery to our room and by the pool – truly excellent value for money!

The hotel's tropical gardens are serene and elegant, offering direct oceanfront views in a peaceful and relaxing environment. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and very convenient for getting to the duty-free shop. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. Ella was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and attentive, quickly resolving all my needs. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and the vacation experience was outstanding. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!

Sscarlett0527Stayed for two nights. First, I want to commend Kaylee, our butler. Her service was excellent, very proactive, and responsive.
The concierge service was great. They were there to open the door and help with luggage as soon as we parked. We were offered welcome leis, but they weren't available when we got out of the car. The lobby didn't have air conditioning and was a bit warm, but it was well-ventilated. Check-in was quite fast, and they provided detailed information. The elevator had AC and was very cool, and our luggage was delivered to the room quickly.
The hallway to the room was too long and outdoors, making it quite hot. However, it looked beautiful once the sun set.
The family room had one king-size bed and one single bed. The mattresses were good, no backaches. The AC worked well and kept the room cool. The shower had great water pressure and consistent temperature. Bottled water was replenished promptly and generously. Room 833 offered a partial sea view and a partial view of the duty-free shop and a new hotel that's still under construction. It wasn't noisy, and the duty-free shop lights looked lovely at night. The only **bug** was the bathtub on the balcony, which made it impossible to take a bath. The room had no musty smell and didn't feel old. There was a huge table, convenient for dining.
We received welcome fruits upon check-in, and the passionfruit was absolutely delicious. A complimentary minibar was provided, with drinks and snacks.
The family pool was a bit basic, without a water playground, but it had free floats and basketballs. There were plenty of lifeguards who helped inflate the floats.
There was a shuttle bus to the beach, and the driver was very friendly and chatty. The beach had lounge chairs, and the sand crab catching activity was excellent and engaging. There wasn't much hawking on the beach, which contributed to a great vacation vibe. Free sand-digging tools were available at the beach.
The kids' club was next to the B1 breakfast restaurant, with activities suitable for younger children. Tree climbing was a lot of fun and came with small prizes. The bubble activities were a hit with all the kids.
You could reach the duty-free shop by crossing the road through a small gate, which closed at 10 PM.
We weren't bitten by mosquitoes at all during our stay, which indicates good pest control – a definite plus.
Breakfast was a bit simple; the variety could be improved. We didn't have to wait for a table even when arriving after 10 AM, and the food was replenished promptly. The Xinglong coffee was good. Eating outdoors was slightly warm but offered views of fish and snorkeling.
The hotel's Chinese restaurant was delicious, delicious, delicious! The hotpot at the Western restaurant was decent, and the ambiance was good. There were plenty of takeout options nearby, but you had to pick them up from the takeout cabinet yourself. The 'Qingbuliang' (Hainanese dessert soup) from room service was good.
It's a shame we didn't go snorkeling. We'll have to come back next time.

GGuest UserAlthough the room we initially got wasn't ideal, the customer service was incredibly responsive. They promptly upgraded us to a suite, which made us very happy and satisfied! My kids absolutely loved the pool access room. The lobby manager and my 'watermelon' butler were both so helpful in resolving any issues. Our whole family was really pleased with this trip; it was a fantastic experience!

GGuest UserThe hotel is surrounded by tons of restaurants, so you'll have endless dining options. All the in-room appliances work perfectly. Plus, there's an incredibly delicious coconut chicken restaurant right behind the hotel, less than 100 meters away – a must-try if you stay here!
The room facilities and housekeeping are top-notch. The cleaning is meticulous, and everything is tidied up neatly. The staff are very polite. The buffet breakfast on the 33rd floor is abundant, delicious, and offers a wide variety of choices.
The Guest Relations assistant even added me on WeChat during my stay, which was super convenient as they were always responsive to my requests.
Overall, the hotel environment is quiet and upscale. This is definitely my go-to hotel when traveling.

We took a taxi from the Hilton to the Greentown Sanya Dadonghai JW Marriott.
Check-in was smooth at 4 PM.
We booked the 'Stargaze Babies' room, and for families with two kids, it's an absolute no-brainer! 🥳
The layout truly understands parents traveling with children! One king bed + one bunk bed.
The room isn't huge, but it's fully equipped with everything you need.
Kids' amenities and thoughtful details are all in place, making for a very comfortable stay.
In the evening, we discovered a new activity – we went to the pool at the adjacent Autograph Collection hotel.
The evening breeze combined with the sound of the waves created such a wonderful ambiance.
It was super photogenic! 📸 We listened to the waves, watched the live performance, and observed the kids playing in the water – it truly felt like a perfect vacation.
I have to specially praise the incredibly thoughtful and amazing service at JW Marriott!!
Our flight was scheduled for the evening of the second day.
We originally requested a late check-out until 3 PM.
At noon, the hotel proactively contacted us.
Because there were guests checking in later, they thoughtfully asked if we'd be open to switching to a standard room type.
They then extended our check-out to 5 PM for free! 😭
This was truly so considerate! It didn't inconvenience the next guests, and it gave us ample time to rest, shower the kids, and get ready.
Staying during the off-season really brought so many pleasant surprises!
In the afternoon, the kids were full of energy again.
They had a blast playing in the Marriott pool until 4 PM.
Water volleyball was their favorite, and they absolutely didn't want to leave.
By 5 PM, we were packed and ready, concluding our trip perfectly as we took a taxi to the airport ✈️.
The entire experience was seamless, and Marriott's service really won us over.
For families with two kids visiting Sanya, this Dadonghai location is definitely worth it! #SanyaFamilyTrip

Ariel was fantastic; she showed us everything, answered all our questions, and we communicated via Telegram. Club room guests also have access to the 48th floor for afternoon tea, which is actually a wonderful light meal with snacks and salads – you could honestly just live off it! In the evening, we skipped the snacks and went to the seafood restaurant. For just 500 RMB, it's unlimited seafood, and the cool part is you cook it yourself in small hot pots right at your table. Everything was delicious, and the seafood was super fresh. The room itself was gorgeous, with an incredible, breathtaking view. The bathtub was amazing, and they provided fantastic Dead Sea mineral cosmetics. Overall, a truly wonderful experience. The aquarium and water park are superb; the kids absolutely loved it! Though, for me, the water park was a bit too warm – the pool water was quite hot, and I was hoping to cool down a bit. Plenty of shops for shopping enthusiasts too. All in all, it's an excellent, comfortable, modern place, worthy of being a Sanya landmark itself.

The super-spacious Camp Hyatt kids' club, fun pool bubble activities, and quiet private beach made taking care of the little ones so easy. The rooms were fully stocked with amenities, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the food appealed to all ages. A heartfelt shout-out to our butler, Diana. She prepared children's amenities for us in advance and was always responsive to our various needs. She thoughtfully informed us about the hotel's daily family activities and quickly helped us resolve minor issues during our stay. Her service was gentle, patient, and incredibly attentive. The hotel's overall service standard is excellent, and paired with Diana's thoughtful one-on-one butler service, our family's island trip was perfect and comfortable. We'll definitely be back for future vacations!
