Rodeway Inn

Looks like some updates had been done. Looks better inside theb out. Got there at a late time but called so they were expecting us. Didn't have to wait. Fair price. Not a resort, just a clean place to lay your head for the night. The young lady who set us up with our room was kind and very helpful.

Hotel was okay for a cheap night stay. Everything was clean but definitely a bit run down. No breakfast and you check in and out at the convenience store they run. A big hotel that with some investment could be nice and not just okay.

Hidden ice machine. Had to go search for the ice machine. 2nd floor in a dark laundry room and some dude is just chilling in there. The ******* price was fantastic but it crashed and made me start over so i accidentally booked Saturday instead of Friday so had to pay an extra 8 dollars for the stay because they have to call the manager who is standing there in front of you in half pajamas in a gas station (thats the office as well). So he finally let’s us out of our reservation and lets us change it to Friday instead of just matching ******* when I told them the price i saw online. Everything was fine. No breakfast but i guess there was coffee and tea.

Has a 24 hour store. The rooms are Clean & cozy. Friendly staff. I definitely would stay again.

Terrible dust every where son and husband have asthma and next day both where wheezing badly from the non-smoking room clearly was not and the dust everywhere thank God whe brought our own pillows and blankets not worth it had to walk across from the motel to check in at the convenience store just felt unsafe

15 miles from Valdosta. Quiet and great price.

Bare bones hotel Paid more than it was worth but I needed sleep

Room was previously a 2 bed room but had 1 bed removed (but not the headboard which was still mounted on the wall) with a table in place of the bed. However there were no chairs for the table (or of any kind) in the room until the manager provided one from another room at my request. There were no plastic cups or pitchers, plates,etc. of any kind in the room until I requested some. There was exactly one hanger in the clothes closet. The were no waste baskets or trash/garbage cans in the room (I left the trash on the floor in a paper bag I provided). The porcelain in the shower was chipped and discolored. I could go on with this litany, but to summarize: this property appears to be essentially abandoned with no on-going services or maintenance provided.

I almost NEVER write negative reviews, however, the plethora of 5 star reviews for this property is what convinced us to book for the night. Our experience was NOT good. The room was musty and the outside noise was very invasive. Trains passing all night. The very loud ac was cutting in and out (my fault -there is an 'always on' option, that I realized and remedied around 1am after continuously being woken up). The attendants in the store (where you check in), were not very personable - granted, we arrived late - around 11:30 pm - I'm sure they were tired. But a smile never killed anyone. The price is incredibly inexpensive - so we were not expecting any bells and whistles, but this was below the bare minimum of comfort.
