We went with Mistral Travel. The hotel is vast, and has excellent facilities. But it also welcomed school trips when we were there, and the children could be noisy at night. Rooms in the 4000 series are right opposite the service area, where there was also noisy building work going on. Mistral seem to use these rooms. Our room also had no working fridge or aircon for the first three days, in spite of regular requests to reception. On our return, we raised these issues with Mistral, but they did not appear very interested.

We booked through Mistral Holidays and this hotel was a big disappointment. The restaurant was more of a very large canteen. We had to sit at large tables instead of individual ones. The food was NEVER hot, most days it was not even warm. The food was of very poor quality and included lots of tinned fruit and vegetables. The wine in the restaurant was actually dispensed from a pump into a plastic jug and was very poor quality. We were only ever given plastic cups to drink from - we were told that glasses were only for ‘the paying customers’ – surely we had already paid as part of the inclusive package? There were very strange opening times for the bars and snack bars – with nothing open at lunchtime. The staff all seemed miserable, only 2 were seen to smile throughout the entire week.

Accommodation lovely, couldn’t fault. However after staying there for a week and booking through TUI, it soon became apparent that TUi’s description did not match the hotel description. Language barrier was a big thing, not many staff spoke English, lack of entertainment and what evening entertainment there was happens around 1030 pm. Not much help when you have had dinner, sat at the bar with a drink and headed back to your room because there is nothing else going on! Lack of signs around the complex advertising any entertainment or activities. The basic signs they had, were only in intalian! Kids disco happens around 915pm after dinner! Not sure how long for. Food options were mostly the same each day, although nice but a bit of a change and more fresh fruit would be lovely. Beach within a short walking distance, however we did a find a nice circular route from the hotel to the beach.. alternatively you can hop on the hotel train to the beach. Lovely and relaxing there. The spa was amazing and had a lovely massage. Tried to find the fitness area that was advertised on the hotel map, Turns out the gym was in the spa which is only open at certain times. Did not feel it was the all inclusive holiday we had expected. TUI rep’s do not visit this hotel which we were aware of and can be contacted on the TUi app.

My daughter and I are currently staying at this hotel, 2 more days to go. We booked through TUI and were aware no rep would be available at the hotel. We arrived late at night due to flight times, transfer in a private taxi with another family went smoothly, cold meat and salad meal left in room on arrival, not particularly appetising so we didn’t bother. First impressions the next morning were our room was clean and adequate but on the ground floor and we had requested a balcony so to the hotel’s credit we were changed to another nearby room before lunchtime. The balcony room was a lot nicer, no tea/coffee/kettle facilities provided but we came prepared. The only dining room where guests can eat is a bit canteen style but clean, however again on the plus side you are allocated a table for your personal use during your stay. Soft drinks, cold beer and cold wine(both red!! and white) are on tap served in glasses but always seems to be a shortage but there is an abundance of plastic cups available. Crockery (cereal bowls in particular) and some cutlery also seem to be in short supply. There is a limited menu of 3 main dishes with vegetables, plenty of salad items but an annoying lack of fresh fruit apart from oranges you peel yourself and tinned (in syrup) peaches and apricots. Plenty of prunes and watermelon if you like that. The menu choices stay the same, a variation on a theme. Our first night was spent on the roof terrace for dinner, the hotel laid out all the tables and we had a lovely help yourself buffet as the sun was setting. No idea if the experience will be repeated before we go home but I guess will be weather dependent. One of our biggest problems here is the lack of communication and finding anything out. For example no information about towels for the pool, another English family told us where to go near the dining room and as we were all inclusive we could have a free towel. Not everything is included as we discovered. You have to pay for ice creams in the bars and some of the alcoholic drinks. There is no evening entertainment despite the TUI website stating the programme runs from 16th May till end of September with the promise of comedy and west end style shows. We arrived 28th May and still nothing by 1st June. The private beach is lovely and a quirky train takes you there in under 10 minutes. There is a bar serving drinks and snacks, toilets and plenty of sun beds available. The pool is vast and again plenty of sun beds available but loud music played for most of the day. There is a severe lack of English people here, we are 1 of 3 families only here currently which makes me wonder why TUI advertise it as a hotel for English people to stay at and clearly don’t bother having a rep here. Very little English is spoken, no directions around the complex are in English and I’ve only once seen a menu in English. Having travelled a lot of times in recent years with TUI I do feel this particular hotel is not up to their usu

It is not normal that in a three people room they provide only two room keys. We are grown up people and need individual keys. And this is a 4star resort or what. And when asked why so they couldn’t even explain properly just saying hotel policy. I mean if I have to pay extra to get an individual key ok so be it, but that wasn’t an option either.

During our stay here we were made to feel like second class citizens. I have never in my life stayed anywhere else where the staff have been so unfriendly and unwelcoming. The food was absolutely abysmal with myself only being able to eat cheese and potatoes as a vegetarian. The food was cold for every meal. Although we were all inclusive we were constantly told that we had to drink out of plastic glasses and only paying customers could have a "real" glass.....all inclusive means we have already paid! No entertainment or music during the evenings as it was "out of season" although people were arriving constantly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone...ever. the most horrendous experience of a holuday

This hotel/resort is in the middle of nowhere. It is more like a holiday camp than the 4* it claims to be. Apart from the receptionists hardly anyone speaks English which makes ordering in the bar or restaurant very difficult. One day they forgot to service our room which incidentally is very basic. The beach is a bit away and has to be accessed by a small train. Food is adequate but unexciting. Lots of tinned fruit which was disappointing. All our fellow travellers were really looking forward to going home! That I think says it all. Very sad.

Stayed here for a week half board + drinks package on a Mistral Holidays Puglia tour. Things did not start well as we arrived over an hour late at 00.30 courtesy of the joke airline known as Ryanair. Having not eaten since Manchester Airport we expected that there would be some cold food left out for our party as is the norm in such cases. The hotel informed that they were unable to provide anything on health grounds despite their being fridges in the rooms. As the hotel has a large footprint with the rooms scattered about the site we were told that golf buggies would be available to take the guests & their luggage to their rooms but these never materialised due to the "late hour". Instead they sent somebody with a torch to escort us as far as the path & were told that our room was "somewhere down there". I would not recommend this hotel to anybody with mobility issues as all room as distant from the main hotel & golf buggies are like hen's teeth. When we got to the room it was very spartan & I've stayed in better Travel Lodge rooms. The following day didn't improve my mood as the dining room was like a cross between a staff canteen & a motorway services. Food was plentiful but like most buffet restaurants not always warm. There are two bars on site & were often closed at the same time during the day with all drinks being served in small plastic tumblers. Being on half board lunch was a problem unless you were prepared to pay 25 Euros for the dubious privilege of eating in the hotel canteen. Fortunately we found a brilliant restaurant nearby that cost about the same for a 2 course meal with drinks. There is also a bar at the beach served by a train from the hotel & worked well until the latter half of the week when the hotel was full of noisy, rude Italians with no concept of queuing which made it like rush hour on the Rome metro. Overall it was not a pleasant stay & would be difficult to recommend.
