2-Star Hotels in Weihai

I booked a room like the one shown in the picture for 2 nights. It stated that check-in was available after 2:00 PM. I arrived to check in after 2:00 PM, but when I called, the staff informed me that the room I had booked had already been given to someone else because they couldn’t reach me by phone. My phone number is a Thailand number, and I did not receive any missed calls from the staff at all. I did not cancel the booking, and I had only made the reservation one day before my stay because I saw that there was availability. The app no longer allowed me to request a refund, and they also refused to offer any discount. As a result, I had to stay in a different room that was completely different from the one shown in the pictures, because I didn’t want to waste time looking for a new place and ruin my travel plans. It was only on the second day that I was finally moved to the room I had originally booked. However, I did not receive any compensation at all. The staff also asked me to cancel the booking in the app and book directly with them instead, even though the app no longer allowed me to request a refund. Ps. I booked the white room shown in the picture, but on the first night I was given a different room with green walls like the one in the picture instead.

Super Convenient Location! This place is in a prime spot! It’s incredibly close to both the bus station (coming from Yantai) and the high-speed railway station (coming from Qingdao). You can easily walk there in less than 10 minutes, which made traveling so hassle-free. Smooth Check-In & Lovely Room The property is inside a condo-style building that hosts multiple hotels. For this one, just head up to the 12th floor to check in. I arrived early around 11:00 AM, and they kindly let me check in right away! The room itself was very spacious, clean, and fully equipped with amenities. It has a nice window, and you can adjust the AC yourself, which was great. Great Amenities & Helpful Staff The staff were wonderful and super helpful via WeChat, making communication so easy. The location is also fantastic—it’s right near the Hanlefang Pedestrian Street. There are about 3 convenience stores right underneath the building and 3–4 restaurants nearby, so finding food or snacks is never an issue. Plus, getting to other tourist attractions by taxi from here is super convenient! Summary: Perfect location, great facilities, and wonderful service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weihai! 💖

The room wasn't very large, but it was clean and hygienic. The window overlooked Xingfumen Gate, and across from the Dongcheng Road Night Market, Weigao Plaza was a ten-minute walk away. It was very convenient. There were also shopping malls nearby, as well as the Zhenhua Outlets. Further west was the Xicheng Farmers' Market. The breakfast selection wasn't as extensive as you'd find in a larger hotel, but it offered porridge, noodles, wontons, and other items. Free coffee was available at the front desk. The soundproofing was acceptable; we didn't hear much during our stay. We didn't hear cars outside, and only the occasional chatter from other guests. I don't know if it was because there weren't many people staying there or if the soundproofing was excellent, but overall, we were very satisfied. Cons: 1. We stayed for three nights. The internet signal was strong on the first two nights, but it was intermittent on the last night. The phone and TV signals were intermittent and frequently lagped. 2. The shower water on the second night was hot and cold, which was very annoying.

The owners and their parents at this guesthouse were incredibly kind. They not only provided us with a room, but also went out of their way to take care of everything for us; I felt so embarrassed! The environment was lovely, and there were plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby. We even went to the market to buy seafood, and they prepared tableware and a table for us, and even started a fire to steam the seafood for us. They also had homegrown fruits and vegetables in the backyard for us to eat, and they even gave my child popsicles. The guesthouse also had kittens; the owner's mother is very kind and feeds stray cats, adopting those abandoned by others. Having kittens added so much joy for my child. The attention to detail was excellent; the rooms were spotless, and they even provided disinfectant spray. Friends, if you're visiting Rongcheng, Weihai, you absolutely must check this place out! I highly recommend it, and the price is very reasonable.

A 20-25min walk from Weihai Railway station, this 26 storey apartment has 4 fast lifts and located in vicinity of Korean Town. Plenty of Korean food and stuff around. Checked in to the reception on 21st Floor, but stayed on 20th floor with a good view of the Korean night market. The room was big, tastefully furnished with all usual amenities, king size bed, clean linens, disposable bath and face towels, disposable room slippers, non slip bathroom slippers, bottled water and even had a bar fridge and small washing machine. Plenty of sockets and USB ports, shelves, clothes hangers, table and chair, 2 bedside tables. Room is new, bright, clean and airy, with big windows. Best of all, the price was super cheap, the cheapest we got during our recent trip around Shandong province. Nearby, we found a Deep 5 cafe that sells cheap, good bread and pastries. The shower only has a shower curtain separating the toilet. Lack of hooks in toilet/bathroom for hanging clothes/towels.

The room is particularly spacious. The front desk service is in place. Basically, it is on call. There is no smell in the room. The bed is particularly large. The scenery is also very good. It is very close to Weigao Square. It is also very convenient to go to the beach. It is especially suitable for travel.

The sea view apartment I stayed in this time was such a pleasant surprise! You can see the endless blue sea as soon as you open the window! The room is warm and exquisitely decorated. You can enjoy the sunrise and sunset while lying on the bed. The atmosphere is very good. The supporting facilities are all available. It is a ”move-in” experience. The landlord is very enthusiastic. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the beach. It is so pleasant to take a walk in the sea breeze at night! Next time I come for vacation, I will definitely choose this place again!

The hotel is in a good location and is very close to the beach. The sea view room can see the sea. The room is very clean. It's my first time here. It's very close to the attractions. Torch 8th Street and the beach are all good. I will book this hotel next time.

The standard room is over 100 yuan, which is the most affordable hotel I have stayed in this holiday. Courtyard 1 is in a very good location, with trees downstairs and windows facing the sea, with statues and museums visible. At night, after most tourists leave the island, it is very quiet and comfortable. Walking on the beach and touching a few cicada monkeys, I feel that the whole island is my own. It is comfortable.

The room was very good and I was very satisfied with the choice. The items are very new and convenient to use. The bed was very comfortable and slept very well. The surrounding environment is good and quiet. It is convenient to eat and there are many places to eat. Breakfast is downstairs. It is convenient to go anywhere.
