I will not step on the pit when I come, and the boss also specially upgraded the room type. When you come out to play, the clean bedding is the most basic. Checked the bed, very clean, bathroom facilities and toiletries are very complete, the water flow is also very good, the water temperature can also be adjusted, the window is the beautiful sea, all the beautiful scenery is collected, we are three people living, stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, I am very happy to play in Weihai, because the people I met are the best people.

This place is in a prime spot! It’s incredibly close to both the bus station (coming from Yantai) and the high-speed railway station (coming from Qingdao). You can easily walk there in less than 10 minutes, which made traveling so hassle-free.
Smooth Check-In & Lovely Room
The property is inside a condo-style building that hosts multiple hotels. For this one, just head up to the 12th floor to check in. I arrived early around 11:00 AM, and they kindly let me check in right away! The room itself was very spacious, clean, and fully equipped with amenities. It has a nice window, and you can adjust the AC yourself, which was great.
Great Amenities & Helpful Staff
The staff were wonderful and super helpful via WeChat, making communication so easy. The location is also fantastic—it’s right near the Hanlefang Pedestrian Street. There are about 3 convenience stores right underneath the building and 3–4 restaurants nearby, so finding food or snacks is never an issue. Plus, getting to other tourist attractions by taxi from here is super convenient!
Summary: Perfect location, great facilities, and wonderful service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weihai! 💖

HHuanghekoudeyelangThe room wasn't very large, but it was clean and hygienic. The window overlooked Xingfumen Gate, and across from the Dongcheng Road Night Market, Weigao Plaza was a ten-minute walk away. It was very convenient. There were also shopping malls nearby, as well as the Zhenhua Outlets. Further west was the Xicheng Farmers' Market. The breakfast selection wasn't as extensive as you'd find in a larger hotel, but it offered porridge, noodles, wontons, and other items. Free coffee was available at the front desk. The soundproofing was acceptable; we didn't hear much during our stay. We didn't hear cars outside, and only the occasional chatter from other guests. I don't know if it was because there weren't many people staying there or if the soundproofing was excellent, but overall, we were very satisfied.
Cons: 1. We stayed for three nights. The internet signal was strong on the first two nights, but it was intermittent on the last night. The phone and TV signals were intermittent and frequently lagped. 2. The shower water on the second night was hot and cold, which was very annoying.

The environment is also very good, you can rent an electric car outside the door. It is very close to the stranded giant wheel and it is very convenient to play. The hotel is in a prime location with convenient transportation around it, and it is within walking distance to the attractions. Special thanks to the room service lady, who is attentive and polite, making the whole stay experience even better!

GGuest UserAlthough I didn't book a sea-view room, I could still see the sea from the room. The location is great, right across from Shandong University, and there are several convenience stores downstairs, which is very convenient. The room was also very spacious, far exceeding my expectations. The receptionist was also very friendly and politely explained all the important information. It was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Weihai.
PS: Weihai is absolutely beautiful!

We took the train to Weihai Station at 1:30 pm, and went straight to Liugong Island when we arrived at the station, because the history of the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 must be told to the children. Other attractions are left to chance. The last boat to Liugong Island is at 3 o'clock, and there were not many people queuing for the boat when we went to the island.
Check in first when you get to the island. Liugong Island Hotel is next to the cable car station and Dingyuan Ship. The No. 4 Courtyard we booked is not far away. It is the former site of the Beiyang Navy Hospital. There are two rows of bungalows in the courtyard, and the kang room is very distinctive. Before closing, we visited the Sino-Japanese War Exhibition Hall and Dingyuan Ship. After the last boat leaving the island at 6 pm, there were not many people on the island. We just played at the beach.
In the evening, there is nothing else for children to play except the scenery of the island. To watch the sunset, you have to go to the westernmost part, and to watch the sunrise, you have to go to Donghong Fort. I didn't go with my two children to join in the fun. I thought it was unnecessary to stay overnight, but after taking the Grand Island Tour Bus early the next day, I gradually felt that there were too many people. I basically finished the tour and got off the island around 10 o'clock, and then I realized how wise it was to stay on the island. People waiting to get on the boat took pictures from the pier to the tourist center.
The service staff of Liugong Island Hotel are very enthusiastic, and the dinner in the restaurant is delicious and not expensive. It is very good. It is recommended to move up the breakfast time to 7 o'clock, but the island cruise starts at 7 o'clock. If you eat slowly and catch up with the crowd, you will not have the advantage of staying on the island. 😁
