Amazing
VVladutzWe liked everything at this location. It was really clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and Peter (the owner) is very nice. The breakfast is ok, an omelette or scrambled eggs, with bread and some peanut butter, jam or hazelnut cream, and a fruit (mango, watermelon, banana, pineapple). The room was spotlessly clean, big, the bathroom was nice, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The location was good, 3 minutes to the beach, but a little bit far from D'mall and station 1, about 25 minute walk. But the walk is on the beach, so we really enjoyed it. Before coming to the property, if they can't contact you on WhatsApp, you should contact them, and tell them when you arrive, because they can help you with your luggage. Google Maps is not showing you the good route, so I really advise you to contact the property. They couldn't contact us because Trip was censoring our phone number. Contact them on WhatsApp at +63 992 236 5992.

AAmazing CathThank you La Bella Casa de Boracay. The staffs are friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler I love the location of the hotel. It’s 2 minutes from the beach. There’s also a church near it. I also felt safe during my trip. The location is quiet. It’s near Grotto, Coco Mama, and a few minutes walk to Sunny Side Cafe. They even upgraded my budget room for FREE into the one with own bathroom. I highly recommend it if you want a nice and affordable place to stay in Station 1 Boracay.☺️😍

KKhan064I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It's cozy, quiet, charming, and was the cheapest option, leaving me with only positive impressions. I will definitely be back! Pros: 1. It's exactly 400 steps or a 5-minute leisurely walk to the beach. 2. Excellent and delicious continental breakfasts. 3. Free daily massage. 4. Welcome drink upon check-in. 5. A clean, cozy hotel where it's always quiet and peaceful. An ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a good night's sleep. 6. A 15-minute walk to the best beach on this island – Puka Beach. 7. Only a hostel would be cheaper. This was the most affordable booking option available. Cons: 1. The shuttle to the center runs infrequently (only in the morning or evening). 2. Remote location from shops and cafes. 3. Few tourists in the immediate vicinity. It feels a bit like being in a local ghetto. I'm only deducting a point for the infrequent shuttle service to and from the center.

GGuest UserFirst, excellent location, foam accessibility from everything (white beach, d mall, embankment), while quite quiet area, But right under the windows of the church, in which concerts are very often held, until late at night... In the rooms clean, but in 5 nights we cleaned once, and that is what we asked Tomorrow on amateur, portiono, local kitchen (ryss, egg and garnish for choice) Very kind workers, always were ready to help ! In general, I recommend!

MMark Francis MacasinagWe had a very nice stay at Cerca Hotel. The staff were nice and accommodating, and that they allowed you to stay continuously despite having multiple bookings. However, it seems that there were some concerns regarding the lack of amenities, such as tables and chairs in the family room, doormats in the shared bathroom and comfort room, and low water current. It might be helpful if the hotel could consider adding these amenities for a more comfortable stay. Additionally, having signage to make it easier to locate the hotel would be beneficial. It's wonderful that the hotel is conveniently located near the beach and restaurants, making it a convenient choice for guests.

MMaizaThe hotel was decent overall, but there were a few areas where it fell short of expectations. I chose this location due to its proximity to the conference center, which was very convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were courteous, though not particularly warm or welcoming. The room itself was functional but a bit dated. The bed was comfortable enough, but the furniture showed signs of wear and tear. The bathroom was clean, although the water pressure in the shower was weak. Wi-Fi was free, which I appreciated, but the signal was inconsistent at times, especially in the evenings.

RRCMARFAThe location is perfect because it is at the center of station 2. It is very near to most bars, restaurants, shops and the dmall. The aircon is really cold excellent. The shower is perfectly working like they have heater and spacious bathroom. The only thing we have noticed is it is not a very new hotel like the others. The floors and tires are old and hairs are somehow everywhere. The bidet in our room is not working and the room to the balcony is hard to open. The pool is now converted into a bar. But overall it was a very nice stay. The staff are nice, the price is reasonable actually it is perfect for the budget and thè breakfast inclusion is a treat.

Room Types & Pricing: Room types include: Basic Quadruple Room (2 Double Beds) – sleeps 4 Standard Single Room (1 Double Bed) Deluxe Quadruple Room (1 Double Bunk Bed) As of July 2025, prices start around ₱1,205 per night (excluding taxes/fees). Guest Reviews & Ratings: The hotel’s rating on ******* is notably low—2.0 out of 10, also described as 2/10 “Terrible” in its reviews. Reported issues include poor cleanliness, cockroach sightings, and unprepared room readiness at check-in. One guest review noted an instance of cockroaches in the bed, prompting an early check-out despite the location being praised. Another user noted a sarcastic remark from staff concerning transportation pricing, contributing to a negative service impression. Contrasting reviews from Google (via other aggregators) show a more mixed experience: One praised the helpful staff, clean rooms, fresh breakfast, and well-maintained lobby. Another cited serious issues like leaking ceilings and extra charges for linen cleaning. --- Summary: Is Wald’s Place a Good Choice? Aspect Observations Location Excellent—very close to the beach, D’Mall, and Station 2 attractions Amenities Basic – includes Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, communal kitchen, and optional breakfast Room Quality Mixed – some mention leaking ceilings and cleanliness issues Service Mixed – some guests report helpful staff; others cite poor service or tone Value Affordable pricing, but negatives could outweigh savings If you're looking for a budget-friendly spot with a fantastic location, this could be an option—if you’re prepared for simplicity and potential issues. --- Alternatives You Might Consider in Boracay If the concerns above give you pause, here are some alternative recommendations in Boracay that may offer a more comfortable experience: Nearby mid-range and upscale hotels: Opt for places like Henann Regency Resort & Spa, Boracay Vacation Club, or similar resorts located in or around Station 2; they tend to offer more consistent amenities and service. Guesthouse-Style Accommodations: If you want something affordable yet reliable, search for guesthouses or pensions with strong recent reviews or popular listings on ***********, Agoda, or similar.

GGuest UserOne of the advantages is the proximity to the coastline, only 5 minutes. The furniture is quite old, there is a mountain of dust on the air conditioner. The shower hose is broken, making it impossible to wash. Sliding doors practically do not get damaged; each time you need to lock them with a key, you need to spend about 20 minutes.
