4-Star Hotels in Malay

We had a truly wonderful 12-day stay at Ondus Hotel and enjoyed every moment. From the day we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine friendliness and incredible help from the staff. Every team member went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and cared for. Although the hotel does not offer a buffet breakfast, there are five delicious options to choose from each morning, and every meal was fresh and satisfying. The pool area is absolutely beautiful — a peaceful, relaxing space — and the hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from the beach. During our stay, our family unfortunately became extremely sick. The hotel is understandably strict about stains on linen, but despite this difficult situation, we were treated with nothing but respect, kindness, and support. That meant so much to us. After 12 days, we truly feel Ondus is a hidden gem with the perfect location. We will definitely be back!

The airport transfer service was very convenient, helping us avoid the crowded public pier. The staff were also very welcoming. I'd likely choose this place again next time. They even took a commemorative photo for us during check-in, which was a lovely touch and highly recommended. There are beach chairs right outside the door, and the service was excellent – they were very efficient at laying out towels and providing water. The room was also clean.

The location is very good because it’s beach front and just right there at DMall.  Staff are friendly and helpful  The foods at the buffet are great  The one thing I don’t like is the policy that I need give deposit 1500 pesos per night of our stay. We stay for 4 nights so I need deposit of 6000 pesos. This policy freaks me out. How if I only have 6000 pesos budget to enjoy the small buys in Boracay ? Im not gonna enjoy it because this hotel hold my money and take note they want cash.  So sorry Mandarin Nest I think you need to review this policy. This is not friendly for the guest who have budgeted money.  We are returning balikbayan  just want to enjoy the beauty of Boracay and other tourist attractions here in the Philippines.  Well this is my experience in this hotel. What we love on this hotel are their pool, bfast buffet variety and most especially their separate toilet and bath and their bed! They also offer towel on their pool. Good thing also across the street there is a 711 and Metrobank for withdrawal of cash :) They also have 30mins complimentary kid play for everyday :) They also have WIFI connection. We were also entertained once we came for checkin. Few cons we saw are: They have no cabinet, their security deposit is P1500 per day, about 1km away from D’mall though they offer already a variety of food on their lobby. They charge also for their laundry bag though 2 initial bags are free. Overall, our experience is still great!

I would like to commend and thank Belmont Boracay Hotel for being warm and accommodating with us during our stay. It was a memorable time for the family especially to our daughter who celebrated her birthday there. They made my daughter's birthday extra special with their complimentary cake and greetings set up in our room. It was a good surprise for her. The staff had been very helpful and provide an excellent service. More power to you!!

We love the hospitality of the hotel, the room is clean and so organized. What we don't like is the breakfast, the egg station chef fogot our omelet for 2 times, we keep on following up and got so frustrated. The breakfast was not that delicious, but we are grateful for many choices of food. We like the pool and the consideration of the staff for using the pool towel on our splash at the beach.

On the fifth day of our stay at Azalea Hotel, we were cooking with the induction cooker in the evening when it malfunctioned. It kept running at maximum heat, and we smelled burnt wiring, which made us quite nervous. We immediately reported the issue to the front desk. Technicians arrived quickly to inspect the equipment and replaced it with a brand-new one. We’re really grateful for the staff’s prompt help. It turned out to be a scare but everything ended well.

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Savoy Hotel. The staff were warm and attentive, the room's were spotless and comfortable, and the location made it easy to explore nearby attractions. Breakfast/Dinner was delicious and service exceeded our expectations — a special thanks to the front desk for their helpful responses to any issues that we had during our stay and a huge thanks to Mae, Lance, Helen, Rose, Checky, Marielle and Maddie for making our stay comfortable and going the extra mile with our daughter/granddaughter Zaylee, We’ll happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone that's contemplating staying here.

Pros The hotel is in a great location. It is right on the beach. Restaurants, bars and stores were all right outside hotel. As you walk out of hotel, you will be bombarded with people selling you things: hair braiding, excursions, seafood, tattoos, bracelets, massages… etc but that’s everywhere on the beach. Hotel staff were great!  They surprised my son with a birthday song and a treat on his birthday. We didn’t even let them know it was his birthday, so they must have noticed on his passport. They took photos and videos of this nice surprise. Upon checkout, hotel also gave us personalize bracelets as thank you gifts. Swimming pool was nice and not too busy. Breakfast was not bad. Lots of options. Great breakfast view.  Cons Our room was really far. We booked for 4 but only had 2 towels in the room. Had to request for more towels as well as hand towels and floor towels as the room don’t have any. Water pressure was terrible. At some point, there was no water coming out of the faucet at all. We couldn’t shower or wash our hands. Staff were super accommodating and changed our room the next day. 2nd room was closer and much newer looking. Water pressure was good but now wifi was not working.

Had such a wonderful stay! The hotel exceeded my expectations the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. I also appreciate the great service and thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The location and overall experience were amazing. Thank you for the warm hospitality, would definitely love to come back!
