No sleepwear at the bfast buffet should be briefed well with the staff. I was wearing sleepwear alright, a decent shirt and normal square pants. I dnt know why it was not allowed. I had to go back to the room and change.
The sleepwear dresscode should be keenly discussed with the staff. Maybe this dresscode meant no lingeries at the buffet.
Weve stayed at other Henanns in bora, (regency and crystal sands), we were able to wear the same type of sleepwear to breakfast (shirt and pants)
Hotel is not beach front as i thought it was.
All other staff were very attentive, responsive and nice.

GGuest UserThe Henann Garden Resort is a generally beautiful and well-maintained property, featuring multiple pools and a location that makes it easy to reach the beach within minutes. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant.
One highlight is the hotel’s airport transfer service. It is significantly faster and far more comfortable than the standard transfer options on Boracay. The additional cost is absolutely worth it, especially if you want a smooth and hassle-free arrival.
However, despite being marketed as a 5‑star resort, it does not fully meet that standard. Realistically, it aligns more with a solid 4‑star experience. The main shortcomings are:
Breakfast & Dining
- The breakfast is quite simple and feels like a basic buffet without any special touches.
- No custom orders or special requests are accommodated.
- There is, for example, only one type of juice available.
- The dinner offerings also fall short of what you would expect from a true 5‑star hotel.
Services & Room Amenities
- The services provided are functional but not luxurious.
- Room amenities and overall hotel facilities are good but not exceptional.
Overall Verdict
Despite not living up to its 5‑star branding, the Henann Garden Resort offers very good value for money. It’s a great choice if you’re looking to relax by the pool or enjoy the beach in a comfortable, well-kept environment. If you’re expecting true luxury, you may be disappointed — but for a relaxing holiday with good service and a fair price, it’s definitely worth considering.

Our room was kept spotless every single day thanks to their consistent room service that made sure everything was clean, refreshed, and fully stocked with all the bathroom essentials we needed.
And the food… absolutely extravagant! 🍽️ Every meal felt like a feast, with flavors that made each dining experience special. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying the quiet ambiance, or indulging in delicious dishes, everything felt effortlessly luxurious.
Grateful for such a wonderful stay

CCheyanne08We had an amazing time at Henann Crystal Sands! The location is perfect - just a few steps away from the beach and it was easy to get to restaurant, shops, and everything else we needed. The staff were super friendly, respectful and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were also great - very clean and comfortable. Special shoutout to Ronald and Robert from Sapphire Restaurant - they were absolutely fantastic! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended if you’re planning a trip to Boracay! 😊😊👏🏻👏🏻

MMushroommogumoguThe second time I stayed at Exploration. It is a worry-free choice to stay at Exploration in Boracay. It is located in S1, which is relatively quiet, the beach quality is also good, and there is free airport pick-up and drop-off. In addition, the attitude of every service staff I met is super nice~ Although the swimming pool is not big, there is a hot spring pool next to it, and it is still very comfortable to soak in it; there are not many types of breakfast, and the more popular dishes are not available if you go too late; the room is quite large, but if you are sensitive to light, remember to bring an eye mask, because the room uses roller blinds, which do not block light and leak light seriously, so you don’t sleep well, and you are very tired when you go to bed late and wake up early. The shower water pressure is sufficient, which is great~ After all, it is important to take a comfortable hot bath. If the room can be replaced with blackout curtains, I think I will choose Exploration again when I go to Boracay next time.
