3-Star Hotels in Chenzhou

This was my first time encountering such a great value for money in a B&B. I have to say the owner is truly exceptional. His thoughtfulness and attentiveness were evident in every detail, especially with the children, surpassing even our own patience as parents. Due to the high-speed rail shortage during the National Day holiday, we couldn't secure a suitable ticket, which put our plans for Chenzhou on hold. We were anxious about getting from the high-speed train to the B&B and then returning the next day. However, the owner was incredibly thoughtful, contacting us in advance to understand our situation and making the best arrangements possible. On our first day off the high-speed train, the weather in Hunan was incredibly hot, and our family of four waited for the train for a long time at the station, nearly causing our child to suffer from heatstroke. I was naturally agitated, but after contacting the owner, he promptly adjusted our arrangements for our family of four and asked the driver to be more reassuring. Fortunately, there was no traffic, so we were able to drive all the way to the B&B (because a section of the road to Yangtian Lake was restricted for National Day, requiring a bus). I can't imagine how our family of four would have felt without the owner's thoughtful arrangements. After an hour's journey, we finally arrived at the B&B, where we met the owner, who enthusiastically prepared lunch (the ingredients were grown in the owner's own garden). He also personally prepared the room for us and told us that the owner would personally pick us up for the itinerary and the round trip to Yangtian Lake. After dinner, the owner took our children on sightseeing trips, allowing them to get in touch with nature. After lunch, he personally sent us to Yangtian Lake and kindly told us to tell him to pick us up after the tour. He also gave us some precautions. Although it was only a short day's trip, the owner's service was very thoughtful, 100 points. He took care of all our family's meals and even set off fireworks for the children (because it was too late to set off fireworks at Yangtian Lake). So in order not to disappoint the children, the owner This is so awesome! So touching! The next day, we needed high-speed rail tickets for 7:00 AM, and the host got up at 5:00 AM to make us breakfast and drive us to the station. Worried we wouldn't eat well on the way, he even bought us some Hunan breakfast. It was such a heartwarming experience! He also told us about Hunan's attractions along the way. We'll definitely be back. Kids visiting Chenzhou, don't worry, the host is so kind. The room was especially clean. I'm a mysophobe, and even their slippers were disposable plastic, definitely not recyclable. They even had children's slippers. There's a river and stream nearby for play, and they sell snacks downstairs, which was very convenient. Due to time constraints, I didn't take a close-up photo of the room, but it was absolutely stunning.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, clean and serene, with minimalist interior and mountain and lake view. The owner speaks English, and was very helpful for the whole stay. She also helped me with sightseeing and showed me all locations and ways to get there. Breakfast is delicious! I’m very happy with my travel experience this time. Right after parking at the guesthouse's back entrance, even before I stepped into the room, I caught a glimpse of the shimmering river nearby. A gentle breeze, carrying the fresh scent of the water, instantly swept away the fatigue from my journey. When I checked in, the owner smiled and told me the room had a direct river view. The moment I opened the door, I was completely stunned—the floor-to-ceiling window offered a full panoramic view of the river. The river was wide, and I could take in the lush greenery and walkways on both banks, even the distant bridge was clearly visible. I didn't even need to step outside; I could simply sit on the sofa by the window and enjoy the entire river view. The room also had a balcony. In the evening, I watched the sunset slowly dip into the river, painting the water in warm golden hues. At night, I saw the lights on the opposite bank gradually illuminate, creating a particularly soothing night scene with the sparkling water. It's truly a wonderful place for relaxation and unwinding!

For our first night driving through Chenzhou, we chose this guesthouse inside the scenic area. You can drive right to the guesthouse entrance, and the staff will help you with your luggage upstairs. The view upon entering was stunning, overlooking the Xiaodong River; the emerald green water instantly soothed the fatigue of the long drive. The room was very clean and fully equipped, with disposable cups, toilet seat covers, and face towels – a definite plus. However, because it's inside the scenic area, there aren't many places to eat or shop. But you can order in advance and have the restaurant cook for you; the food is just as good as what you'd find elsewhere. The No. 4 viewing area is only a few hundred meters away, and a short walk down the path you can see fishermen casting their nets. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

I rarely write reviews, but this stay was so good! After visiting the Mangshan Wuzhi Peak Scenic Area, we checked into this characteristic homestay in Mangshan. In addition to rooms with spacious balconies, the B&B also provides guests with uniquely designed stand-alone wooden houses to choose from. We finally chose a cabin called ”Wangshan”, where you can see the distant mountain scenery and the beautiful sunset even when lying in bed. There is a Japanese pavilion garden outside the cabin, and it is equipped with an outdoor bathtub. Here, we fully enjoy the comfort and relaxation brought by the hot spring water, and our body and mind feel relaxed and happy. There is also a small bamboo forest here, where guests can enjoy a leisurely time while appreciating the rural scenery and sipping coffee or tea. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cold and we were unable to enjoy it. There is a leisure space here where guests can enjoy tea, chat or have a meal. In the evening, we ordered some farm dishes here, including steamed fish, braised duck and stir-fried vegetables. They were very delicious and made us feel like we were back home. At night, the light pollution here is not too great, and my family and I can clearly appreciate the stars twinkling in the night sky, adding a touch of romance and mystery to our journey.

The front desk staffs were friendly and efficient. We were served hot tea on arrival and were kindly checked in at 10+am. We did not buy breakfast when we made our booking but were offered a good price for it. Breakfast was varied and delicious but almost the same daily. Body lotion and conditioner was not provided in the room. The next morning when we asked for advice on sightseeing routes, Ms. 岛 advised us to hire a private vehicle and made arrangements for the hire. Price is reasonable and the driver was good.  Many thanks to you, Ms. 岛 for your help and excellent service.

The hotel environment was excellent, and the rooms were fully equipped. Located by Dongjiang Lake, the view of the lake was immediately apparent upon opening the curtains. The two receptionists were very friendly. They even provided a complimentary breakfast for our group of three, which was fantastic. The staff reminded us to only book the room if we were satisfied, to avoid having to pay a discount if we were not happy with it. Seeing how attentive and responsible the staff were, and being very satisfied with the room, we booked immediately. Overall, we were very satisfied.

The hotel environment is very beautiful, the rooms are spacious, bright and very clean. It is a few minutes away from Suxianling. The restaurant inside is high-end and very popular. It is a hotel with a very high cost performance.

It was absolutely perfect. It's a shame I could only spend one day at Yangtian Lake; otherwise, I would have stayed for several days to relax and unwind. The hotel's location is unique, nestled against the hillside next to the scenic area. The staff were excellent, with two young women constantly offering to help with my luggage. The complimentary fruit, snacks, and drinks were plentiful, and the hotel's cleanliness was on par with a five-star hotel. The view upon waking up was completely worth the price. The sunrise and sunset were especially breathtaking; the views from the balcony were breathtaking. Without further ado, here are the pictures and video. Full marks! Since the room booked did not include breakfast, I was considering leaving in a hurry the next day and asked about the hotel's breakfast charges. The lady enthusiastically gave me a breakfast coupon.
