Overall a pleasant stay as staff were friendly and helpful, especially the manager, 小毛。My assigned room had cigarette smoke smell despite it being a no smoking room but the manager was quick to change it for me. Would be better if smoking is restricted to an area outside the hotel and no smoking rules in rooms, elevator and lobby are enforced. Would still recommend as manger 小毛was very helpful and went around in his bike to check which restaurant around the hotel vicinity was open for dining at 4pm.

Restaurants and shopping are just steps away, and local specialty snack shops are within a few minutes' walk. It's also incredibly convenient to visit attractions like Qionghai Wetland Park, Jianchang Ancient City, and Tang Garden. Car rentals are available right outside, making exploring the lake a breeze. The most thoughtful touch was the receptionist's proactive sharing of travel tips, even explaining off-the-beaten-path routes to avoid crowds – so helpful for first-time visitors to Xichang! The check-in experience was also impeccable. Self-check-in took only 30 seconds, showcasing cutting-edge technology, and there was even a robot delivery service, making the entire process efficient and convenient. The room was cozy and stylish, the bedding was as soft as a cloud, and the blackout curtains provided a perfect spot for a good night's sleep. The soundproofing was also superb, completely blocking out outside noise. The hygiene was impeccable; the room was spotless, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and all disposable amenities were provided. Even the toiletries smelled wonderful, giving me peace of mind. The facilities were also comprehensive: a 24-hour self-service laundry room solved my travel laundry problems, a gym met my daily workout needs, and there was free parking, making it super convenient for those traveling by car. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh, with delicious fried eggs and special buckwheat pancakes—nutritious and authentic, even the kids enjoyed them. From check-in to check-out, the staff provided consistently warm and attentive service, responding quickly to any needs. I often stayed in the mini apartment in the past, but then the facilities gradually deteriorated and I never had the chance to visit Fengyuan Century, which was reopened and renovated. Taking advantage of the Torch Festival, the conscientious merchant did not increase the price like other hotels. The boss helped to upgrade to a loft for free. The room is not particularly big but 2-3 It is very suitable for people to live. And it is very clean (because the photo taken when I left, the first floor was too messy and I didn’t take it). What needs are basically responded immediately. It is very quiet at night. If the air conditioner is always turned on, the noise will be louder because it is on the top of the head, but Xichang is quite cool at night. It is not hot.
