Perfect
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful homestay. It was really comfortable and the owner was so kind and helpful, even giving us umbrellas to take with us when we departed for the train station in torrential rain. The breakfast was thoughtful and delicious and the coffee was great! The homestay is located in a special village in an ecological conservation area. It’s incredibly peaceful and you can walk along the most delightful stretch of river there, where you can even swim or take a boat ride to Moon Bay. It’s a good base for exploring the whole Wuyuan region by car or even without because you can easily call a taxi from the hotel (just be a little bit careful about getting back from more remote places — it’s a good idea to get the number of your outbound driver). Would definitely come back here!

I booked this guesthouse on Ctrip, and it unexpectedly became the highlight of my Wuyuan trip. 🥰🥰 First, let's talk about the ambiance. It boasts a small but incredibly comfortable and atmospheric courtyard, perfect for quiet contemplation, tea brewing, and photography. What’s more, the guesthouse provides complimentary Hanfu for guests to wear for photo shoots – a real treat for photography lovers! I captured some truly charming photos here. Next, the guest rooms. The manager kindly upgraded my room, and the overall service was incredibly warm and attentive. They offer complimentary high-speed train station transfers and provide free quality tea for guests to enjoy. The welcoming atmosphere of the guesthouse made it easy for us fellow travelers to open up and chat late into the night. Meeting new friends through shared experiences while traveling is one of the main reasons I love choosing guesthouses. Finally, I must commend the guesthouse's breakfast and private kitchen service! It was incredibly friendly for someone from Guangdong like me. We prefer lighter meals and value breakfast highly. All breakfasts are freshly prepared by the guesthouse's 'auntie.' The steamed buns were delicious 😋, and the unsweetened soy milk had a rich, authentic soy flavor. The eggs weren't ordinary farmed eggs but high-quality free-range/local eggs. They even blanched an extra bowl of green vegetables for me upon request 🥬! As a nutritionist and a foodie, a diverse breakfast with a serving of vegetables is absolutely fantastic! I'm so glad I was wise enough to decisively choose to have dinner at the guesthouse once I knew it was an option. It proved to be not only clean and delicious but also perfectly suited my taste. 😍😍😍😋😋😋 As the guesthouse staff member mentioned, their goal was for guests to feel at home in Wuyuan, and Jingmo Liangxi truly achieved that! If I return to Wuyuan, I will definitely choose to stay here again. 😊😊

Finally had time to leave a review! The receptionist was super nice. When we arrived and asked to see the room, they patiently and gently showed it to us. They even gave the kids fireworks when we went to the ancient town, and one of them wrote about the hotel in his diary! I also have to praise the breakfast. It was a complimentary breakfast, but the ambiance and the breakfast itself were unexpectedly good. The view from the window was also beautiful. They even gave us a box of chrysanthemum tea when we left. Next time we go to Wuyuan, we will definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need. The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee. The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.

I recently stayed at Huan Xiu Homestay and had a wonderful experience. The inn’s serene setting and blend of traditional and modern decor made for a peaceful retreat. My room was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The amenities were excellent, offering both relaxation and cultural experiences. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent hospitality and helpful local tips. The breakfast experience was superb, with delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Huan Xiu Inn and highly recommend it.

Very charming landscape of the property so we enjoyed taking lots of pictures there. Unfortunately, it was heavy rain on the night we stayed plus the day after so we didn’t go out to Wuyuan Huanglin as planned. We liked the food there a lot, the cooks are so nice and kind. Also they dropped us to Wuyuan Train Station. Hope to return on a sunny day.
